04/06/2026: Very good as usual, but not many people, so we wanted a different table than the one offered. The waiter was fine, but not the chef! Disappointing, the relationship between the permanent staff and the seasonal or trainee workers! What a shame!
18/05/2026: Warm welcome. Friendly staff. Lots of choices of dishes that change according to the season. Good meat. A bit noisy. Arrive early.

27/05/2026: We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! The food was excellent and the welcome was truly warm, with a very friendly and particularly kid-friendly team, which is a real plus for families.
The Google rating had made us hesitate a bit before going in, but in the end, we had a wonderful time and a delicious meal. That's why I'm leaving a review—something I rarely do—to share our very positive experience. A great place to eat in La Baule.
27/05/2026: Absolutely perfect! An intimate restaurant. The food was delicious, and the waiter was friendly, even though the heat must have been awful for them! Really delighted, we'll definitely be back, and the prices are reasonable 🥰❤️

Now, I'm getting a big head! Well, the airport hasn't arrived yet!
They seem to prefer wealthy customers; I must be too limited! They refuse reservations on the pretext that they only have superior rooms left, without even offering me an offer...
Good luck to them!

The owner explained that he was closing permanently in a few days to open another restaurant in Nantes. He said there weren't any customers in Pornic, etc. ... We'll see what opens in its place.

26/06/2026: A Friday lunchtime in June. Arrived at 11:40 am for lunch while waiting for a train connection. The waiter was running around the terrace. Order taken at 11:55 am. But it arrived quickly after that. Dish of the day: trout tartare, beautifully presented (€13), but not for big eaters. A bit light. Friendly service, nothing more; they do what they can, but they're definitely understaffed.

Given the way the waiters spoke, it's better to go elsewhere.
