01/02/2026: Passing through the lovely city of Nantes for a show, we were looking for somewhere to eat afterward. We quickly realized we were asking for hospitality at a very late hour, and after a few refusals (sometimes incredulous, "10 pm? You can't be serious!"), we were welcomed at "Chez Louisette," where we were served a hearty mixed platter. The main room was booked for a birthday party, and we enjoyed the band's playlist in our corner near the bar. A wonderful, convivial time. The Saint-Chinian wine was perfect. Thank you to the team!

13/01/2026: At Louisette's, it's a bit like having a beloved cat. You walk through the door and you immediately feel at home. It's not over the top. It's there, relaxed and welcoming. The music is well-chosen, accompanying you without being intrusive. You happily linger. A pint is €3.80. Really not bad. It's the kind of detail that makes you settle in and order a second one without hesitation. There's plenty to eat. I tried the fries. For someone from the north, they could be improved, of course. But they're still decent. Honest. Like everything else. The retro decor adds to the charm. A bit like that favorite old armchair, not brand new, but comforting. A friendly, unpretentious bar where you naturally return. Because you feel good there. Simply.

08/10/2025: Bistro Gourmand assisted us with our wedding on September 20, 2025. From the initial quote preparation to the day of the event, we worked with a dynamic and professional team. Choosing the menu and working on the event's execution was easy and stress-free. The team was completely autonomous on the wedding day, ensuring they were ready when the guests arrived. Both we and the guests loved tasting the wine reception. The meal also delighted all of our guests from start to finish. 16/02/2026: Very welcoming staff, plenty of seating, and a menu with a good selection. We had the truffle pizza and the daily grilled special; it was excellent—very tender meat with a fantastic wood-fired grill flavor, and the barbecue chimney was visible from the dining area. Highly recommended!

05/02/2026: At the hotel in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, I decided to get a five-cheese pizza. I got back to the hotel and realized the pizza was barely warm, undercooked...white as an aspirin, so the cheese flavor wasn't exactly great, and the pizza wasn't even cut. In short, I won't be going back. A bad experience for me.

18/03/2026: A completely uninteresting restaurant. €23.30 for lunch, for a dish entirely assembled from frozen ingredients: fish and chips, coffee with a lot of robusta... only the beer was decent.

04/03/2026: Very disappointed with my first experience. I came on Sunday for Grandmother's Day with my two daughters and my mother, and the welcome was quite positive. However, the food was terrible. First, my dish, especially the fries, were cold. I mentioned this to the woman who went to the kitchen to bring them back, but it took a while, so I started eating my steak halfway through. What did I find in my dish? A hair or a fiber? I'm not really sure what it was. I told the person who went back to the kitchen to bring the dish back, and she made me a whole new dish, which arrived hot this time. However, no compensation was offered at the end. It cost me €96 for four people. I don't think I'll be going back, especially since the cook kept staring at me after I mentioned it.

01/02/2026: Four guests, two sets of four glasses, two sharing platters (including a colorful, delicious, and incredibly generous vegetarian one!!! 🤤)... The perfect combo to start the evening! Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff! 😇

27/01/2026: Lunch for two at this brasserie. The daily special, lasagna, was a rather small portion, unfortunately not very tasty, and the rest of the plate was piled high with a rather bland salad. The croque monsieur was equally basic, but acceptable for the price. The coffee was quite bitter, while the chocolate fondant dessert (advertised as homemade) was excellent, although the portion was tiny. The dining area was quite crowded; you had to move other people to get to your table, making the room rather noisy, and the service a bit rushed. Efficient for a quick meal, but not really enjoyable.

21/01/2026: I ordered two Christmas menus for my parents, and when I called today to reserve, they said they were permanently closed. This evening I received a call; they will refund me at the beginning of February.

05/12/2025: Customers turned away! We booked online and traveled 100km only to be told they no longer accept Smartbox vouchers. Disappointed.

21/02/2026: The menu is strange, with three different set menus at virtually the same price, no choices within each menu, and no way to change your starter or main course. As a result, everyone ends up feeling a bit frustrated because they would have preferred the starter or dessert from another menu, and it's hard to understand what difference it makes since everything is made to order. The owner is unpleasant, and the decor is ugly. The place desperately needs a complete renovation.

15/02/2026: Pleasant decor and welcome. The cuisine is very classic and uninspired. Lacking in creativity and flavor. Overpriced for a very average menu.

27/02/2026: A very good experience; we really enjoyed chatting with the gentleman, who was very attentive and friendly! The meal was excellent, great value for money. I've been there at different times of the year and it's always been perfect! I'll definitely go back! We even went back the next day for their flank steak! I highly recommend it!

15/02/2026: Pizzas from the vending machine were undercooked. Exorbitant prices compared to the quality and size of the pizzas. Not recommended.

04/01/2026: A bit disappointed by this restaurant. The storefront was very inviting, but the experience fell far short of our expectations. Let's start with the positives: the service and the wine were impeccable, no complaints there. However, the food was a real letdown. The carbonara was served with cream and bacon bits that left much to be desired. Then there was the salmon pasta, which tasted like very little; you have to wonder if the pasta water was even salted. Plus, the pasta was overpriced for the quality. The pizzas looked appetizing and were good (at least the vegetarian one was). Overall, the restaurant is attractive because of its location but disappointing in terms of both quality and price. Order a pizza to avoid disappointment. Let's make up our own minds.

02/11/2025: This is our second experience in this restaurant, personally I went back for its unforgettable tiramisu, which is also, in part, what made me want to return to La Baule for a romantic weekend.

27/08/2025: I asked for a café crème to go and specified that I wanted it poured directly into my own cup. Unfortunately, it was served to me in a cup. I therefore had to transfer the coffee myself into my cup, which was inconvenient. When I explained the situation, I was rudely told that it was not my role. Furthermore, my cup was only filled a third full and I didn't even get any sugar. It was a shame, because I would have liked to have had a more respectful and attentive experience. I do not intend to return, despite the fact that I live right next door.

18/02/2026: Quick lunch break and the food is very good.

13/02/2026: The staff were very pleasant, friendly, and smiling, and so much more... tender meat, delicious desserts, I recommend the pavlova....

09/11/2025: Excellent pizzas that I recommend and the gentleman is extra kind to make 5 pizzas before closing time.
