22/03/2026: I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. During our visit, we saw a mouse inside the dining area, which was already quite alarming and unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was the staff’s reaction — or lack of one. When we informed an employee, they didn’t apologize or seem concerned at all.

05/07/2026: A true neighborhood café, even though it's right in the city center, a rare find these days, with its regulars, its little summer terrace, on a beautiful Nantes square, the one by the cathedral. The service is always delightful. The prices are reasonable. Don't change a thing.

04/07/2026: We arrived this evening around 9 pm and were forced to sit at separate tables, greeted by managers who were clearly drunk! During our order, nothing was available, not even a menu! Following this, the waiter arrived and spilled everything on someone in our group without apologizing. When he tried to clean it up, he spilled more, and she started crying, again without apologizing. I find it unacceptable to be drunk or even drugged during working hours… We're giving it one star because we can't give it less!

17/08/2026: Hello, after going to this restaurant, things didn't go at all as we wanted. The wait once we were seated was very long. We had to interrupt a waitress who was actually taking care of us because a young man was overwhelmed. The appetizers were served without any problem, but the main courses were mussels, fries, and chorizo. It was normal because the mussels were cold. We called this young man back, explaining that they were cold. He took the plates back, and this went on for at least fifteen minutes. The plates came back, but there was no chorizo. I called him back again, saying that they weren't the right plates. In short, I think he thought we were being difficult, and we told him we were leaving and that was the end of it. My wife, being very brave, waited at the counter to find out what we owed, and there again this young man told us 10 euros in cash, holiday vouchers, or restaurant vouchers. Credit card payments weren't possible because it was over 15 euros. So I understood that if I had paid in cash, holiday vouchers, or restaurant vouchers, he would have pocketed it anyway because it works everywhere. And so, strangely enough, we were able to pay 10 euros by credit card for our starter, which we still ate. It's a disgrace to find places like this, and to top it off, we told him we were going to leave a review, and he shamelessly replied that he didn't care at all—and I'm being polite! Bravo. I'm giving it one star so other customers know what they risk; otherwise, I would have given it zero stars without any further comment.

15/08/2026: Excellent mussels, whether with chorizo ​​or the chef's Saint Gildas sauce (curry and mixed vegetables), and even better fries. View of the port and the sea. Service a little hesitant, but you can tell the very young waitress is doing her best to please the customers. A little nod to the dessert menu 😉

15/06/2026: We ate at this restaurant (one of the few open on Mondays) during a stop in La Bernerie. There were three of us; two of us ordered the savory crepes and then ice cream. The crepes (La Bretonne) were good and the portion was generous—everything you could expect from a crepe, really. However, one of us had ordered the set menu. What a mistake! The buffet starters were clearly supermarket products. The fish of the day was supposed to be a salmon fillet. Imagine our surprise when we discovered a gray salmon, swimming in a bath of cream and raspberry vinegar to mask the (nonexistent) taste of the fish. The texture was mushy; having all three tasted it, we suspected it wasn't fresh. The waitress (who was very kind and raised the rating to two stars) assured us that the salmon had been fresh that morning and offered to replace it. Well, no comment. Our friend didn't dare take the risk. And then the five grains of rice that came with the dish were enough for him. Then came his dessert, the three-cheese plate. Two of the cheeses were still wrapped in their original Président packaging, precariously placed on a sad little lettuce leaf. Ouch, what a meal.

19/05/2026: Family lunch, excellent value for money. Simple but well-executed cuisine. It's a shame the salads on the buffet weren't homemade, otherwise, no complaints. Pleasant and friendly service.

11/12/2025: The wait was far too long, 45 minutes just to take our order. We ordered a main course and dessert without coffee because it had been an hour and a half and it was time to get back to work. The service was questionable. We won't be returning.

13/05/2026: We were directed to this cafe via Google, but there's nothing enjoyable about it. Unless, of course, you want to drown your sorrows in alcohol. The market next door made up for it, with coffee and crepes, as well as cheese and friendly people.

07/08/2026: Excellent roadside restaurant. Very good value for money. The butcher's cut was superb.

29/07/2026: The welcome was rather cold, there was no drinks menu, and the service was far too slow (an hour between courses). Just before we were supposed to eat, we were told, "No more mussels, you'll have to choose something else." No options were offered for someone who was vegetarian, so we ordered another starter (cheese quiche). No drinks were offered during the meal (just a carafe of water!). The table next to us had to get up to fetch the carafe of rosé we'd ordered 15 minutes earlier! The waitress dropped some fries on the floor and didn't clean them up! There was a severe lack of staff: only one person in the kitchen and two serving. Unfortunately, we won't be returning, even though the price/quality ratio is quite reasonable.

26/06/2026: Excellent pizza! A warm welcome with smiling and very polite staff! We became loyal customers in no time!

05/04/2026: The telephone reception is terrible! No smiles, no friendliness...you feel like you're being taken for a ride!

04/04/2026: I stayed at the hotel for two weeks during a business trip. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. Every day, I received a warm and friendly welcome from Pascal and the team. The evening meals were excellent! There was a wide selection for breakfast. The location is perfect, on the edge of town but close to the main shopping area. There's parking in front of the hotel, which is great for parking nearby.

21/08/2026: I don't recommend the mezze; they were really not good. I even wonder if they were made fresh on the premises. Plus, they were served on a plastic tray… all for €32.

01/08/2026: A fantastic restaurant. Not a single flaw. The whole family thought it was delicious. I had the roasted vegetables, and they were excellent. Friendly staff. No wait. We had a wonderful time as a family. We will definitely be back.

07/07/2026: At the bar, we used to come for a drink and We could order a coffee for €1.90, and a waitress would bring our order to our table. It was much nicer, and service was included. Now we have to order at the bar and then bring our coffee to our table ourselves—no waitress. And finally, we have to clear our cups onto trays, but the coffee is still the same price at €1.90. There's no difference between being served and doing it yourself; it's not right and it's not pleasant. We're very disappointed with this practice, especially since it's a nice place to relax after shopping. We're eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new robot waiters!

05/03/2026: One-night stay for an evening business trip. Very welcoming and helpful staff, clean and spacious room, excellent evening meal with a varied buffet of starters and desserts – one of the best Campanile hotels I've stayed in.

18/07/2026: What's being sold is literally disgusting; it's hard to imagine anything worse. What a shame this location isn't something else. Although, something else would have been better.
