My husband insisted, "Can't you tell me?" "It's written behind me!" Honestly, he'd be better off changing careers if he can't handle pressure! Very disappointing

03/04/2026: We drove 15 minutes to eat at Beckett's. We arrived at 2:10 PM and the manager told us that service was over. So why does it say the restaurant closes at 3 PM on Google and Instagram?

31/07/2026: The pizzas are good. The waitress is very friendly. It's July 31st. The village is deserted, and so is the pizzeria.

14/07/2026: Takeout orders. I was disappointed by this pizzeria. The dough wasn't airy; it seemed like it hadn't risen enough. It was thin and crispy, but lacked the soft, chewy texture I expect from a good pizza. The toppings were also sparse, with little volume, making the pizza feel rather small. The presentation wasn't very refined either: all the ingredients were completely melted and flattened, lacking any definition. The value for money is poor. It's okay when you're hungry, but it's not a place I'll be returning to.

08/08/2026: We came to order XXL pizzas. When we placed our order, the waitress was incredibly kind. When we picked up our pizzas, we were greeted by the same person, who was absolutely lovely, smiling, and pleasant. A real pleasure to come!

08/04/2026: This restaurant is very pleasant. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are homemade, well-prepared, and generous. Good value for money. The setting is rustic and charming. A great find in the heart of the Pays de Retz.

28/07/2026: Permanently closed since June 2026, perhaps someone else will take it over later? It was a well-located, lively, and welcoming family restaurant 👍🏻 We hope to be able to enjoy the place again!

11/03/2026: A very nice little restaurant in the town of Couëron. It is indeed a bit noisy, but the food and service were excellent. One small suggestion for improvement: a website where you can see the menu or daily specials would be a plus, to avoid having to use Facebook.

01/03/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The beef fillet was excellent, perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. The homemade chocolate mousse was perfect. We were just passing through, but we would definitely eat here again!

07/05/2026: It's clear that the place has changed compared to the old photos. You go around to the side, where it's advertised as a tapas bar, and end up in a room towards the back of the building. The problem is that despite the friendly staff, everything seems outdated. The overall decor feels old-fashioned, the sound system is too loud, and one of the screens is looking rather pale. I ordered a steak tartare (it was too big; I left some, which has never happened to me before). The knife cut was too rough, the seasoning was bland, and the side dishes (fries and salad) were very meager. In short, going overboard with something so basic is a real letdown. In summary, aside from the service, everything needs an urgent overhaul.

02/08/2026: A superb restaurant with different seating areas; we dined in the lovely, intimate patio. The food is of very high quality, and the service is provided by a young, dynamic, and very pleasant and welcoming team. We had a wonderful evening in this spot in the heart of Nantes, which I highly recommend!

31/07/2026: Avoid at all costs! It was impossible to get anything to nibble on with the aperitif. The starter was lamb's lettuce without any dressing... garnished with its roots (a pollack tartare without any sauce)! The fish was very good, the meat (kangaroo) excellent, accompanied by a vegetable tian (a real travesty consisting of two 1mm-thick slices of tomato, four 1.5mm-thick slices of zucchini, 5cm in diameter, and some barely visible eggplant) which was nothing more than an ultra-concentrated version of a tian. Finally, a strawberry cake, if you can even call it that, which was mostly a cylinder of (whipped?) cream with, in total, perhaps two regular strawberries. You can obviously call it a strawberry cake, but it has nothing to do with a real pastry chef's strawberry cake. And on top of that, there was an extra charge of €1.50. Furthermore, communication with the management (or owner) is difficult. The waitress, however, was perfect.
