27/09/2025: Misunderstanding: I called in early September to make a reservation for nine people for a birthday party. They explained to me that we could only eat sweets, which I readily accepted. When I arrived at the reservation time, a sign indicated that the restaurant was closed. I decided to go inside and was told that the restaurant had been closed for several weeks. I can only advise you to have a plan B if you make a reservation at this establishment. Because managing to find a table for a birthday party for such a large group is nothing short of miraculous... This is an unprofessional establishment; I do not recommend it.

07/09/2025: A must-visit when we come to Pornic. The taste, and nothing but the taste, of strawberry. Cone or sundae, we've tried everything, it's incredibly good.

03/10/2026: Family meal, large table for 7 people. We arrived a little late but received a very warm welcome. I highly recommend this place. The owner is fantastic and the food is incredible, nothing to complain about. I absolutely recommend this restaurant for the service and the food. If you're passing through Le Croisic, this is a must-visit. 🍽🥘

22/03/2026: I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. During our visit, we saw a mouse inside the dining area, which was already quite alarming and unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was the staff’s reaction — or lack of one. When we informed an employee, they didn’t apologize or seem concerned at all.

13/07/2026: The pizza was good, however, the dessert, a "revisited" lemon meringue pie (not listed on the menu), had far too much overly acidic cream, irritating my throat. The meringue was in pieces, which wasn't great; it had no flavor at all. For me, it wasn't a lemon meringue pie, just overly acidic lemon cream. It's a shame.

04/03/2026: Frankly, a huge disappointment. In my opinion, it's by far the worst pizzeria in the neighborhood. Judging by previous reviews, my opinion isn't an isolated case. The pizzas are bland, completely tasteless, and the ingredients seem to be of very poor quality. The dough is tasteless, the toppings meager and stale—it's a far cry from what you expect from a real pizzeria. The service doesn't help matters: a cold, unprofessional welcome, and a disturbing feeling that the customer is an inconvenience. As for the manager, his attitude leaves much to be desired. No sense of business or willingness to learn. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment. There are much better options elsewhere.

05/10/2026: We stop here every time we return to Rennes. The restaurant is very clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the value for money is excellent, the food is good, the vegetables are unlimited, and the homemade fries are perfect. A great place to stop before heading home.

31/08/2026: Today, August 30, 2026 I wanted to treat my wife to some delicious Italian ice cream at La Fraiseraie de la Bergerie en Retz. I'm a regular customer in Saint-Brevin-l'Océan and Pornic. The employee was very unpleasant. Cold, no smile, no welcome. It was a stark contrast to the staff in Saint-Brevin and Pornic. So we left the shop without buying any ice cream and didn't exactly spread the word. Hoping the owner sees this review

03/08/2026: We were disappointed with our meal; the food was completely off-topic and needed to be cooked again. We had to ask for cutlery, bread, water, wipes for the seafood, etc., and there was also a long wait.

03/08/2026: Dinner for two one evening without a reservation. The waiters were welcoming and friendly. A set menu for €24.90...very generous portions, excellent mussels, and exquisite sea bream. Crème brûlée for dessert. Honestly, very good. Highly recommended.

30/07/2026: Passing through Nantes, we were looking for a quick bite a few minutes from the train station. The owner is lovely and the burgers are delicious (with a good selection), all at a very reasonable price! It says the ground beef comes from the butcher shop in Talensac, so it's fresh and really good. It's like our mom is cooking! Thank you, ma'am! 🤗

25/08/2026: We went to this address on the recommendation of a shopkeeper. We received a very warm welcome! We can confirm the good quality of the products. However, we were disappointed by the quantity of ingredients: the pastry was extremely thin and there was very little filling.

23/08/2026: We arrived on the morning of June 28th around 11:45 AM, asking to have "breakfast," but were told that breakfast wasn't being served any longer at that time and we couldn't just have drinks—we had to order food! Fair enough! We were there to eat anyway—call it breakfast, lunch, or brunch; the point was to have a meal. While we were looking at the menu, the person who greeted us (I believe the owner) told us we "couldn't share dishes"—even before we had chosen anything. We were quite taken aback by these "orders," as we hadn't even expressed any intention to do such things! :((( We gave the place a try and ordered two crepes and two coffees; both were good. The cafeteria is small but charming, and I should add that the person who greeted us maintained a formal and polite tone throughout. However, what will keep me from returning is what I said to them: "Ma'am, you're bringing up these issues before we've even opened our mouths!" I think this is the biggest downside: making the customer feel not like a welcome guest, but like an unruly child in a boarding school cafeteria. 18/09/2026: If I hadn't run into the owner, I would have given it 5 stars. Being the owner doesn't justify speaking rudely to your employees, and even less so to your customers, especially when they're thanking you for the service. Frankly, being yelled at like that is a disgrace; I'll never accept it again!

07/07/2026: At the bar, we used to come for a drink and We could order a coffee for €1.90, and a waitress would bring our order to our table. It was much nicer, and service was included. Now we have to order at the bar and then bring our coffee to our table ourselves—no waitress. And finally, we have to clear our cups onto trays, but the coffee is still the same price at €1.90. There's no difference between being served and doing it yourself; it's not right and it's not pleasant. We're very disappointed with this practice, especially since it's a nice place to relax after shopping. We're eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new robot waiters!
