02/05/2026: This is a very good hotel for the price. The welcome was warm, the room very clean, and the breakfast included croissants and fresh bread. Ideal for a stopover. We will definitely choose this hotel again for Saumur and the surrounding area.

12/04/2026: Very nice little hotel across from the train station. The rooms are small, typically French, but well-maintained with new furnishings in warm colors. The bathroom is small, but modern and functional. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The price was excellent. Even though it faces the station and the street, the room was quiet and there were no outside noises. I also tried their restaurant, and the food was excellent, featuring many Italian products. The pizza was superb!! And that's coming from an Italian!

12/05/2026: Way too noisy, Caesar salad made with reconstituted chicken, the breading didn't even stick, no sanitation on the salad, and the frozen waffle was a disaster.

09/12/2025: Hello, I'm a truck driver. I arrived at lunchtime to find an empty parking lot. Someone approached me and told me I had to park on the other side in another lot so I wouldn't be blocked in with the cars and vans. So, I'm telling you, if you don't want truck drivers in your restaurant at lunchtime anymore, that's fine. Don't neglect them. I wasn't happy about having to park in the other lot, so I left. You're not getting my money, sorry, I don't agree. 😡 Good luck with everything.

23/05/2026: The ice cream was served half-melted because it had been sitting on the counter. The manager, upon seeing the half-melted ice cream, refused to remake it. Very customer-oriented!

10/05/2026: To begin with, I ordered a hamburger and there was no patty or pickle. I was very disappointed. Then I ordered something else that I don't really remember, sorry. I asked for no pork and no bacon, and they gave me bacon even though I'm allergic. I ended up in the hospital for four days. As for the service, the waiters were very nice. The atmosphere was too noisy; you could barely hear each other.

09/04/2026: There were a large group of us (12 people) and we had a very good meal at Félicien's. The terrace is lovely, right opposite the castle. The food was simple, but homemade and very tasty! At an affordable price. I recommend it.
