16/09/2024: This delightful refuge deserves 10 stars. We had an unforgettable week nestled in our beautiful room and feasting daily on exceptional food creatively presented. The young chef, trained in a Michelin star restaurant, was consistently creative without going overboard. Every meal was a delight. Arnaud’s influence was always present as the château staff gave us memory after memory and cheerfully accommodated every need and wish. Arnaud and the staff all speak excellent English. A breathtaking facility dedicated to its guests. We recommend it highly and without reservation. We look forward to returning next year.

25/09/2024: Went here with a group of French friends - a really enjoyable experience. Set in a troglodyte cave, the restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We were given a warm welcome and all the staff were friendly and efficient. The fixed meal is based around Fouees - a local dish of 'breads' filled with savoury fillings, and is delicious. Open Friday and Saturday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes. I have no hesitation in recommending

07/09/2024: 5 stars is not enough to rate this evening that we spent at the fouées de Grézillé. A table located near the oven and therefore the boss who manages the cooking of the fouées at the top! Service with a smile, with explanations for each dish. We really had a great evening. It is really essential to know this address and the owners. The atypical setting in the caves, and the smiling and warm welcome. Go and have a great meeting there!

01/09/2024: Charming restaurant with delicious home cooked meal served in breezy back door patio. Atmosphere was so relaxing and food absolutely super we went back for the second time. Be sure to have the glacé for dessert. Hello to “ Timothee “ and the kitchen staff and server who were wonderful and made our visit to this small but historic town. A must visit when you are in the Loire!

25/08/2024: A peaceful, friendly, welcoming place. Where you feel very good and where it is very pleasant to enjoy an ice cream or a drink. I recommend 100% and the little extra but that does everything…. the owners have a smile and are very pleasant.

08/08/2024: Nous y avons déjà été, il y a quelques années, par hasard pour la première fois... Et ce déjeuner en terrasse avec des amis a conforté notre belle impression... Tout est parfait : accueil, service, plats, quantités, qualité, et addition !

03/09/2024: Really friendly atmosphere, lovely manager and waiters in addition to good food, very good experience for us (for vegetarians, they accept changes in recipes at no additional cost)

02/09/2024: Clear recommendation. The galettes and crepes are delicious, the service is very friendly and attentive, and there is a large selection. The ambience and the price are also right. I'll be happy to come back when I'm in Angers again.

25/08/2024: Un endroit très chaleureux, une équipe au top et à l’écoute. Personnel très respectueux et agréable! Nous avons très bien manger, c’était délicieux. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

05/08/2024: La formule Brasero du dimanche soir est parfaite. Restauration simplifiée mais de bonne qualité. Le service est impeccable : chaleureux, rapide et efficace. Nous avions une table dans le jardin à l'arrière du restaurant. Très bien à l'exception de la musique qui est trop forte. Et a t'on vraiment besoin de musique? Pour moi cela n'apporte rien. C'est mon seul bémol sur cette soirée qui reste une très bonne expérience. La prochaine fois je réserverai sur la terrasse en front de Maine. La musique y est moins forte.
