01/04/2024: Quite simply wonderful, my partner and I came with no more expectations than that and yet from the first step the service was impeccable.
Coats taken from the locker room, new cutlery for each dish, etc.
The restaurant has a marked identity without existing only through it.
I had read before coming that there was only one person in the kitchen and indeed the size of the room does not require more, but we never felt like we were waiting.
The same goes for the service, I only saw one person the whole time and yet we never had to ask for anything.
Copious and spicy cuisine, truly for me it was the highlight of my stay in Saumur.
15/03/2024: I highly recommend this address, the welcome is excellent, the dishes exquisite, the presentation magnificent, the setting very beautiful and neat, quality price, seasonal products, paintings on our plates, what more could you ask for, it's perfect. Thank you don't change anything

03/03/2024: A good meal shared with family in this pretty Segreen restaurant. The dishes and desserts are plentiful and the fries are excellent.
Special mention for the well-made Spritz and the children's menu which has really good value for money.

I have a sweet tooth. For example, for this dessert including kiwi and meringue, the quantities are so tiny that I remained frustrated. There is a lot of work that goes into all the dishes, for me simpler is better. The meat was cooked perfectly, pink, tender, well done!
I'll try again at lunchtime, maybe it's simpler. Thank you for your good mood.

01/04/2024: Very nice discovery. Meats cooked over a wood fire are excellent. The portions are adapted which allows you to still be hungry for dessert. The Angevin cream that I didn't know is delicious. There is also a nice choice of wines by the glass. All this with low prices. Enough to spend a very good evening.

The place is very warm with very pleasant subdued lighting. The service is very professional while being fuss-free and funny!
As for the dishes, nothing more can be said other than excellent. Well-crafted and original flavor combinations with fresh seasonal products.
There is a very large choice of wines on the menu which will satisfy your desire of the moment and the sommelier, who knows his wines well, will be able to guide you.
Overall, we had a great time and I highly recommend it!
