It had been a long time since I ate in this chain, and well this is the last one, I agree that the prices have increased, but increasing the prices and reducing the portions is theft. Restaurant to avoid, don't even bother looking at the menu because when you see the photos you will be fooled. Because the photos are tempting but in front of the plate you are disappointed.

02/01/2026: Bistro in the center of Saumur. An unpretentious place, like a neighborhood bar, serving traditional home-style cooking. The duck parmentier and the croque monsieur were delicious. The portions are very generous. The manager was very friendly and did her best to communicate with us even though we don't speak French. The food took a little while to arrive, but that was perfectly reasonable considering she was in charge of the bar, the tables, the kitchen… Good value for money.

The small pizza is really small, much smaller than the indicated dimensions. The thin crust isn't thin. Overall, I won't be going back there and I won't recommend it.

14/02/2026: So, I've eaten here before, and it's okay, but the service is very limited… today, for example, the gentleman who greeted us was very unpleasant, and not just to us, as a woman and her daughter had the same experience. Sir, you run a business, so customer service is essential, even when you're full, even if it's written on your sign, like all the restaurants on the atoll, by the way. The interaction should remain cordial, especially since tables become available over time, and even if you're in a bad mood, respect the customer. Simply saying "sorry, I don't have a table available for a certain amount of time" is enough, like everyone else. However, speaking rudely, saying "you need to read the sign" as if we couldn't read, in such a haughty and authoritarian manner…! Change jobs if people annoy you! In short, I won't be back! And it's rare that I leave negative reviews…

14/02/2026: The welcome was very cold. The person at the entrance seemed annoyed and spoke curtly, both to us and other customers; it shocked me, even on the phone he was really "bitter." During the meal, a waiter came to ask me if I was taking a break to get more pizza, even though I was clearly eating. Five minutes later, he came back and asked me the same question insistently. That said, the pizza was good, and thank you to the ladies at the counter for being so kind!

16/01/2026: Passing through Murs-Erigné, we had lunch at this brasserie. The staff were friendly. The food was very disappointing. The homemade cordon bleu was extremely dry; I had to search for the cheese, and there was absolutely no seasoning. The waiter didn't even ask if everything was alright when he cleared our plate. At the same time, judging by the size of my plate, he must have understood (I only ate three bites). In short, we won't be returning to this establishment.

25/01/2026: I came in for coffee around 9 a.m. with a friend. The waiter, who had a tattoo behind his ear, seemed rushed and very robotic, lacking humor and warmth, as if he just wanted to take my money immediately. When I went to get a carafe of water, I was stopped and told it was reserved for staff, even though it was 10 a.m. The decor and music were pleasant, but as a restaurant expert, I'm disappointed and it pains me to see such a lack of passion in the welcome and service.
