It's way too expensive for so little and the kids were hungry after the meal. I'm sorry but even cooking seems like overkill to me…. Average table placement because as soon as the outside door opened I had the wind at my back.
A somewhat small restaurant with the influence of a Saturday lunch.

04/04/2024: What a fall. Two years ago and more, the cuisine was top notch, a perfect balance on the plates.
Since then the team has definitely changed and it shows on the plate.
It’s tasteless and made “without love” and it shows!
What can we say about the managers who appear to have a power outage and don't even bother to just say hello?
Customers are just wallets and that's more than a shame.
Well done to the blonde waitress who is doing what she can to raise the bar. She does her job as she should 👍

Top quality price. The service is fast. An efficient waitress despite the stairs to climb if you are placed upstairs.

05/04/2024: Too bad I'm still hungry given the reviews..my boyfriend orders fish with leek fondue he's still looking for the leek I'm ordering a beef tartare I'm looking for my eggs so my opinion I have doubts about the notes it's up to you but I won't come back. We had to wait until dessert to get a carafe of water. For information, the waiter tells us about fish and frozen foods and if we have fresh fish we have to go to the seaside. A word to the wise.

06/03/2024: Top restaurant! Go for the snails, you'll come back. On the cellar side, the selection by the glass is perfect, very beautiful Ligerian houses (and often organic). A very nice table in Saumur.
01/03/2024: Lunch this afternoon with my wife. The daily menu is simply sublime. The delicious appetizer, the remarkable snails, the salmon accompanied by finely seasoned leeks and a sublime clementine rosemary panacotta. The dishes are served hot, the service staff are attentive and the setting is calming. Nice wine list too. To try without hesitation.

27/03/2024: Very beautiful place on the banks of Maine. The cuisine and flavors are of very good quality. Only one downside to this good time, the room service. We had to wait a long time (20 minutes) to take the order for the aperitifs even though the menu card was given straight away. And a not very smiling waitress. Maybe the stress of the service.
But we will come back for the cuisine full of authenticity and a magnificent setting.
