10/02/2026: A very warm welcome and pleasant setting. We had a wonderful meal, featuring local specialties. Excellent value for money. A place to discover or rediscover, as we did!

07/02/2026: We were charmed by this very friendly, welcoming bistro where the food is good and reasonably priced. It was 1:30 pm on Friday, and given the weather, the restaurants on the street were far from full, and most had already closed their kitchens. We arrived at this place and managed to find a table, as the restaurant was packed. The decor is simple but has a soul that you feel as soon as you walk in; you feel comfortable and as if you've been there countless times. Fabien, the owner, a true epicurean, is at the helm behind his bar and also helps out in the dining room when needed. He is expertly assisted by… (she forgot to give me her name) a professional waitress who is extremely helpful, attentive to her customers, and remarkably kind! As for the daily special, it was flawless: the quality, the portions, the taste… and the homemade fries were a real treat (and I know what I'm talking about, I'm Belgian 😉😀), you could come just for that! If you're a wine lover 🍷, you'll be in heaven, as the wine list would make 3-star restaurants green with envy, the variety is so vast! And if you're on good terms with the owner and/or a regular, you can enjoy a verbena elixir while chatting with him at the bar as you pay your (very reasonable) bill! The only reason I'm not giving it 5/5 is for the back room… there's only one toilet, and it's a pain when it's busy… anyway, I highly recommend it!

27/01/2026: We had a good time at the saloon. The decor around the bar is really nice. However, the appetizer buffet didn't offer much choice. The food is traditional and decent.

19/01/2026: Outstanding sushi. Fresh fish looked beautiful, tasted wonderful and was generously served in all the items we ordered. To make it even better, the woman who took my order was so very patient with my inability to speak French; she made sure that I got exactly what I wanted. This was a takeaway order so atmosphere was not important. I give it a high mark because everything was sparkling clean. We’ll be back soon.

17/12/2025: Honestly, these are the best sushi in Angers. The staff is very friendly, and the delivery is convenient and fast. And the best part? The prices are surprisingly affordable for sushi. I highly recommend it!

17/11/2025: A Sunday lunch with friends (a group of 12). We were able to choose our menus when we booked, which was very convenient. A warm welcome and impeccable service. We all enjoyed a very good meal, with a particular favorite being the beetroot mille-feuille, and for me, the beef cheek was delicious. All accompanied by excellent wines (the Pic Saint-Loup 👌🏻). Thank you so much for this lovely time and best of luck!

16/11/2025: My grandmother regretted ordering the grilled sea bream. The fish was full of bones, whereas sea bream is a fish with very few bones. She thinks she was served a bream instead of a sea bream. She is very hesitant to return to that restaurant.

28/11/2025: Excellent roadside restaurant in Cholet. Large paved grounds. The restaurant offers impeccable service, very welcoming staff, and affordable menus. The showers are small but clean.

15/09/2025: This was a great discovery. The waitress which unfortunately i did not ask the name was simply awesome. Super friendly and in best mood, she recommended us a salmon which was very likely one of the best we ever had. Prices were fair. Location great in the cute small town place... Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal; the dish was simply succulent, bursting with different flavors, very indulgent yet perfectly balanced. And the chocolate fondant for dessert... pure bliss! 29/06/2025: A real favorite! The food is always delicious, the dishes are carefully prepared and full of flavor. The outdoor terrace is simply magnificent, a true little corner of paradise to enjoy a good meal outdoors. The staff is always smiling, attentive, and very friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. We come regularly, and it's always a real pleasure to come back. Thank you to the entire team for these wonderful gourmet moments!

29/06/2025: The interior courtyard is as pleasant as the service is pretentious. The food (more Indian than Thai) is very average. My husband had a "duck salad" as a starter, consisting of a grayish, disgusting mush accompanied by three lettuce leaves and a sprig of mint. 2 starters + 2 main courses + 1 bottle of rosé cost us almost €100. The reputation of the place, in my opinion, is due solely to the paucity of comfortable restaurants in Angers.

30/11/2025: We came for our father's birthday and unfortunately the entire meal disappointed us (mediocre wine and very basic dishes). We were usually delighted with this restaurant, which is why we chose it. To top it all off, once we started our dessert, the chocolate plaque with "Happy Birthday" written on it, which was supposed to be on our father's dessert, arrived afterward and was given to his son! We won't be back.

21/01/2026: The welcome is always impeccable… but this time a very cold woman came without a smile. She was there to take our order, but without smiling. The atmosphere was strange. The food is always very, very good, however, I think this young woman had to be there and do her job as best she could. This won't stop me from coming back, but it's a real shame to have someone serving without any enthusiasm or passion for their work… I'm still giving it an 8/10 because your cuisine is extraordinary…
