22/06/2026: An excellent experience! The restaurant is located on a quiet side street. The seating is lovely, spread over several levels. There's a charming little courtyard. I had lunch here. The quiche, the almond rice pudding, and the homemade iced tea were wonderful. You can taste the high-quality ingredients. The service was warm and attentive. In short: I'll definitely be back.

06/08/2026: A fantastic place to discover! We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is truly lovely and welcoming, perfect for a pleasant meal. A big thank you to the staff who were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the entire meal. The food was impeccable: generous portions, beautifully presented, and above all, of very high quality. The price-to-quality ratio is quite reasonable considering the quality. I highly recommend it!

08/06/2026: You can go there without hesitation! The welcome is very warm, and the managers and all the staff are incredibly kind 😉. We were a group of 15 people, and we were all delighted with the food. The dishes were beautifully presented, generous portions, and delicious. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

As for the food, it's flawless: the traditional fouées are excellent, served piping hot and accompanied by high-quality local produce. The combination of the convivial atmosphere and the beauty of the setting is what makes this place so charming. A huge thank you also to the team for the warm welcome and attentive service from beginning to end. A must-visit in the region for a truly timeless experience. I highly recommend it!

14/08/2026: Exquisite cuisine, our best meal in the Loire Valley. The octopus carpaccio was perfectly delicate, as it should be, with a very interesting presentation. The guinea fowl ballotine was truly juicy and flavorful, while my husband's pork confit was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The service was efficient and attentive. The only slight drawback was the lack of air conditioning on a sweltering day with mosquitoes, which made the atmosphere a little oppressive. Even investing in a small fan would have been beneficial. Otherwise, I highly recommend this restaurant!

17/08/2026: I went there for my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. The setting is magnificent, and we had a private room just for us. The staff are welcoming, and the service is impeccable. The fouasse meal was generous. My only slight disappointment was that my parents didn't receive the little figurines and candles from the cake, which I thought was a shame. My mother collects the plastic cups (the ones we used after the mill tour, which was very well explained by our host). She paid an extra 3 euros for the cup. I found this excessive after a bill for a meal for 18 people, a mill tour, and a final drink together.

14/08/2026: We booked the large hall for our wedding reception, both lunch and dinner, for about fifty people. We had a wonderful day in this charming, historic setting. The pike-perch with beurre blanc sauce was exquisite, and the fouée buffet in the evening was a big hit. The cuisine does justice to regional recipes and produce. The attentive staff displayed a remarkable composure, which is much appreciated for this type of event.

08/08/2026: I went to eat at Aladin after a change of ownership. It was simply delicious. Although the place doesn't look like much from the outside, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. A warm welcome and helpful advice. The food, for its part, is simply delicious. Thank you all.

06/07/2026: A superb restaurant in Angers for a culinary journey. The new owners are extremely welcoming, attentive, and readily available. The cuisine is generous and of high quality: refined, original, and flavorful... at a reasonable price. The decor is truly captivating (don't judge a book by its cover). Highly recommended!

31/07/2026: I went for afternoon tea with my family today, and we met Malika, who was very helpful, polite, pleasant, and always smiling. It's rare to find someone so kind and enthusiastic who also knows so much about the products Ange offers.

17/08/2026: Well, I was rather disappointed by the owner's attitude. I simply pointed out that the indoor temperature was difficult for dining, and I asked that fans would be essential during this very hot period. She replied that her husband worked in 10 degrees warmer weather, so basically I had no right to complain! A completely unprofessional and idiotic remark...

04/08/2026: Super friendly hostess, located on a quiet street just outside the busy center of Saumur. Had a delicious meal, three-course menu for €35, fantastic value for money. Highly recommended!

12/07/2026: After a brief absence, we returned to the restaurant Les Plantes: The chef hasn't lost his motivation or his creative spirit. He perfectly masters the harmony of flavors and textures. The dishes are made with local products. The prices remain reasonable, and the portions are still as generous as ever. We promise to come back more often because even after several years, the welcome is still warm and friendly. Thank you to the whole team!

15/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! Honestly, the restaurant's name is misleading because it's absolutely not street food! The dishes are wonderfully prepared and delicious. We were drawn to this restaurant while passing by, having just returned from a trip to Cambodia. The chef offers very refined dishes (more refined than anything we ate in Cambodia, even in a gourmet restaurant there). It's a subtle blend, a beautiful synthesis of Asian flavors and French cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

09/08/2026: We came to this restaurant on Saturday evening for dinner with friends. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the portion sizes, which were frankly ridiculous considering the prices. We ordered two platters advertised as serving 3-4 people, at almost €100 each, and clearly, the quantity wasn't there… On the platters: three measly pieces of steak (which were very good, no complaints there), but in terms of quantity, it was more like an appetizer for a 5-year-old than a platter for several adults. As for the sides, we received two small bowls of fries for 6 people, only half full, and a zucchini gratin as thick as a subway ticket… We politely pointed this out to the owner, and his response was: "You ordered medium-rare meat, and it shrinks more during cooking, hence the small quantity." Honestly, such blatant dishonesty worthy of a comedy sketch… No attempt at self-reflection whatsoever. A few apologies would have been appreciated, as any shopkeeper would do when a customer points out a problem or expresses dissatisfaction. But no, instead, they suggested we each order another plate. Obviously, that's not exactly the solution we were expecting after already paying almost €100 for a platter. The least they could have done was apologize or offer a small gesture of goodwill, even just a free coffee. But no, they even balked at offering us a simple bowl of fries… And to top it all off, the owner proudly pulled out his card reader when it came time to pay and then told us to get lost. The icing on the cake: they didn't accept Ticket Restaurant or Chèque Vacances cards. The height of absurdity for a tourist restaurant in the middle of summer. And the €13 pint of beer should probably have been a red flag from the start. Yes, €13 for a pint… Personally, I'd never seen anything like it, not even in New York! Thankfully, a huge thank you to the waiter, who was incredibly friendly and salvaged what he could from this experience. In short, a major disappointment. The portions were far too small for the price, and the handling of customer feedback was frankly appalling. Zero points. The owner definitely needs to take some business courses!

14/08/2026: A wonderful experience visiting Fontevraud Abbey at night. However, a little more quiet reflection in the abbey church would have been appreciated; otherwise, it was very well done.

14/08/2026: An exceptional place, but... the audiovisual equipment, among other things, detracts from a truly enjoyable visit... I know this is a reductive assessment... but it was something I myself considered at length during my recent visit... Regretfully.
