It's not for lack of trying to choose dishes from the "must-haves" on the menu... a couscous without spices and a Thai dish with tasteless, bland chicken, in short, without flavor... a Thai dish from Picard would have had more flavor and would have cost us less.

30/07/2026: Lunch break with cousins ​​and their son. Nice place. A lovely Caesar salad for me and nuggets for his son, among other things. Shortly after leaving, we both felt nauseous, and he vomited. We suspect the breading of the chicken. We contacted the restaurant but haven't heard back. Too bad for us; it ruined our afternoon.

28/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent experience at Domino’s Pizza! We took advantage of the 2-for-1 Pepperoni pizza offer, with a 1.2L soda included, delivered to our home, all for just €24. It's hard to find better value! The pizzas arrived perfectly hot, fresh from the oven, generously topped, and absolutely delicious. The delivery was fast, and the driver was very professional. Top-notch service, tasty pizzas, and great deals. We will definitely recommend them and will order again!

21/08/2026: Back in Sainte-Hélène to share a mussels and fries with the family. The menu was as generous and delicious as ever. The children loved it too. Lovely village bistro atmosphere. Warm welcome. Remember to book ahead, as it's often full.

16/08/2026: A delightful surprise yesterday at Sarah B, a place we'd previously frequented for ice cream served on the terrace in the evenings, always with a smile! This Sunday evening, August 15th, we ventured into the restaurant: we felt just as welcomed: kindness and smiles. The setting is superb, refined, and warm. How could you not feel at home? The service: the team is efficient, professional, friendly, and attentive (but not intrusive)! Well done! 👏 The menu? Rather short, which is a good sign when you appreciate homemade food and fresh ingredients. A nice selection of wines and beers. Let's eat... What's in our glasses: a Chenin Blanc from the garden, J. Mourat organic, and Chinon, Loire Amirault & Grosbois organic... excellent choices 😉 The homemade fish rillettes - 1 to 2 people... (a very generous little jar for two), fresh, light, flavorful, and lemony: clearly, this isn't canned 😊, and on thin slices of toasted bread, simply delicious! Next, we have the tuna tataki salad (the tuna was excellent). It's fresh, flavorful, and... beautiful! Bravo to the Chef and his team in the kitchen! We finish with coffee, as we're full... a shame about the desserts, which look very tempting. The bill is reasonable. Outside, the Port of La Roche-Bernard awaits us for a stroll along its quays. The only downside (there had to be one 😉): I didn't even think to take the traditional photos of the setting, the venue, and the food, as I was completely absorbed in savoring the moment, the wine, the dishes, and appreciating the service! So... we'll be back 🙋🏻‍♀️

11/08/2026: We were searching for Asian food on our trip and are so glad we found this restaurant.The food we ordered was very good. I had the shrimp and cuttlefish dish, which is amazing if you love spicy food. The two ladies were also so nice and accommodating. A great find if you're craving Asian food!

22/07/2026: Two lovely ladies will serve you beautiful food like home-cooked meal. One of them even humming and singing songs (not too loud but enjoying) so you feel like you are invited to your best friends house then your friends mother and grand mother are cooking their own receipts for you. Of course food was excellent at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended! What a little gem in Vannes!

08/08/2026: It seems a computer glitch disrupted the team (and also some Parisians who thought they could cut in line because they had a reservation like everyone else!!! Anyway) and unfortunately, having booked the botanical garden tour 😍, we had to limit our lunch to a starter and a main course… our starters were perfect, and the main courses, the fish was very good, and it was a shame the chicken was only served with potatoes!!! We saw the desserts, and it's a pity we couldn't try them: next time 😉

12/05/2026: Passing through Malestroit, we checked restaurant reviews and ended up at Le Jardin de Tirpen. We weren't disappointed at all, quite the opposite! The owners are very friendly; the food is delicious (everything is homemade), and all served with good humor and smiles! We wish you a wonderful and well-deserved retirement!
