20/09/2024: Seven of us booked & ate here on a weekday evening & it soon filled up. It is very impressive as you approach along the quayside & the decor is genial. We were seated at a long maneuverable table which was useful for some of us. Lots of friendly staff providing a very quick service. The Sea Bass with chorizo was delicious, but the (two) white fish dishes need heating properly. All plates were left clean! Good cafe gourmand.

17/09/2024: We booked at table so expected to be served within a reasonable time of being seated. That wasn't the case. The service was extremely slow even for ordering a drink let alone our food. Which took ages to come out to us. Other diners were also looking for service wondering why the service was practically non existent. It was Sunday evening around 7pm. When our food finally arrived we were so looking forward to it we refrained from eating anything at lunchtime. Our burgers were bone dry (we order medium rare) there was no flavour at all to the meat no charring from the grill it was just smothered in BBQ sauce and chunky quarters of tomatoes. My bun was burnt around the edges so I left that. That meal took around 50 mins to come from the kitchen. Beautiful establishment shame about the dreadful food. Such a disappointing experience. I didn't even take a photo of my food that's how unappetising I it was.

01/07/2024: Très belle endroit nous avons bien manger le service etais rapide et les serveurs sympathiques et le fondent au chocolat étais très très bon, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

23/09/2024: A warm welcome from the owner, efficient service, well presented plates and dishes, a good atmosphere and a pretty decor. Lots of people at the end of September, but it must be said that the place is worth it. Fairly wide choice of fish. Pink shrimp, Lotte gratin and Liégeois chocolate were on my menu today. A treat with Lotte. Thanks to Huguette Kergosien from l'Hippocampe, for this beautiful brasserie address in La Trinité. Absolutely worth discovering!

04/12/2024: Voilà quelques années que nous n’étions pas venus. Nous avons été déçus par l’ambiance et le service très « froid ». Les crêpes et les galettes sont bonnes mais sans plus. Méfiez-vous du prix de la bière artisanale (pas indiqué dans le menu)

10/10/2024: Bonsoir , je suis très déçu de mon déjeuner , raison : galettes de la veille très sèches et servies pratiquement froides .... accompagnement plus que léger. Je ne conseille pas car déçu....

22/09/2024: Incredible discovery, an exceptional atmosphere and musical listening, the team is just as remarkable, we feel at home there, it’s very pleasant!! The menu is complete, with a good selection of beers and other choices... don't just come and spend an evening there but a unique experience!

A big thank you to the managers for their good humor and their smiles Having spent six months in Carnac, I went there regularly and I have precious memories of the moments lived there. During my next visits to Carnac, a stop at the West will be essential. Thanks again!
