04/08/2024: Good evening, I would like to write this comment concerning the quality of the pizzas which is deteriorating, this evening the ones we ordered were mediocre and I am weighing my words... Dry dough, too floury and almost charred, the ingredients are tasteless: tomato sauce almost non-existent and tasteless, the same for mozzarella, the price is far too high for such quality. This is the last time I order there

14/07/2024: Good pizza, unfortunately the waiting time is enormous, 2 hours for the last order.

26/09/2024: A perfect restaurant with a beautiful view in front of the sea, well-crafted dishes, a treat for the taste buds and the eyes, a reasonable price, a motivated team, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it

27/08/2024: Very pleasant place with a very comfortable indoor dining room and a garden with sun and shade ideal for summer. They have a very decent menu for €26. We ate boiled prawns with mayonnaise and mussels with fries. Very good! For dessert, a huge chocolate pancake! Very good service, attentive and fast. Bicycles can be safely parked outside.

15/09/2024: Family hotel and I think it's the owner who does the breakfast service, a lot of energy. All week we slept in hotels and this was the only one where breakfast was the cheapest but the best. Table service with background music. The rooms lack space (entry level) we decided to come back next year but by taking the more expensive rooms

07/09/2024: I love this place, a quiet and pleasant hotel run by super friendly and dynamic Huguette. We don't live very far away and appreciate being able to take a break there to feel like we're on vacation even when we're working 😅 see you soon Huguette

23/11/2024: Carte plus que raccourcie avec des manquant en plus, reste 2 choix. Les moules (spécialité du lieu )supprimées de la carte à Pénestin !! Nous avons pris une autre spécialité locale (sic) le fish and ships, bien sûr 2 surgelés associés mais un peu de salade. Bref un encas bien cher, sans doute prévu pour la foule de l'été, mais en novembre chercher.......mais les autres , sauf le gastro complet ce jour, fermés pour vacances.

29/09/2024: Très mauvaise expérience dans ce restaurant. Accueillis par une serveuse très gentille qui nous conduit à notre table à l’étage, nous sommes ensuite pris en charge par une collègue beaucoup plus froide. Elle nous pose la carte des suggestions sans aucune explication. Nous avons commandé un burger au saumon et un magret de canard : le burger était tout plat, très peu généreux (les tranches d’avocat étaient très fines et peu nombreuses, idem pour le saumon), la sauce tartare gélatineuse servie dans un petit récipient en plastique et le bon de commande était resté dans mon assiette, à demi caché par les frites toutes molles. Le tout accompagné d’un mélange de salade pas fraîche en avec une tomate cerise solitaire, pas foufou. Le magret était quant à lui plutôt bon, mais avec un accompagnement/sauce aussi peu qualitatif. Au moment de régler l’addition, le burger annoncé 14€ sur l’ardoise des suggestions est vendu 18,50€ (comme annoncé sur la carte standard). Ce n’est pas très grave, mais mal indiqué sur l’ardoise. Pour couronner le tout, j’ai été malade 2 heures après être sortie du restaurant en ayant rien ingéré entre temps. Bref, nous ne sommes pas très difficiles en temps normal et ne faisons jamais de commentaire négatif sur les restaurants, mais là il me semble que c’est important de laisser un avis de notre mauvaise expérience.

22/09/2024: Superb atmosphere Apart from the incompetent bar service You have to know how to serve and not dance and chat with colleagues while the customers wait ages to be served.. Especially on big nights

05/09/2024: Bu un verre l am , petit futé depuis 2016 , mais là , odeur de chats ( compter 3) et de chien , en fin de vie la pauvre bête, les baies vitrées tres sales , le pompon , les toilettes inondées d urine au sol , la lunette pas mieux , la dame devant moi y a fait un aller mais est ressortie de suite , nous ne mangerons certainement pas ici La patronne un peu sèche, Dommage , restaurant /bar idéalement bien placé L inspecteur du petit futé doit etre de la famille sinon a re contrôler

24/08/2024: Oups .. quand on ne sait pas faire les pizzas.. on ne les met pas à la carte ; surtout à ce prix là : pâte ultra fine desséchée de congélation, coulis euh non, pas coulis de tomate : tomate concentrée acide, pour cacher la misère : 3 morceaux de tomate fraîche posés à l'arrache...juste l'impression de m'être fait arnaquer.

06/09/2024: This restaurant deserves to be highlighted It was a great meeting (over two evenings) Beautiful peaceful place on the quay, the chef will amaze you with his tasty little dishes, his flavors, his crunchy little vegetables, this fillet of sea bream just cooked to perfection Thank you to the whole team for helping to enhance our stay.

04/09/2024: Randomly during our walk, we found this small restaurant, excellent cuisine, friendly and smiling staff. It was sunny that day, but a little extra is always nice. We had a great time. To do again when we return to the region.

28/09/2024: Excellent cuisine, impeccable service,..... thank you Julie for your welcome and your kindness. There were 4 of us that evening, we all loved it! (To my taste, a few green plants are missing for the decoration of the restaurant) 😉

17/09/2024: I don't often leave reviews on restaurants, but when it's really good, it has to be said!!! The welcome is warm, and the service is there!! I had a starter+main course+dessert menu, with an additional cheese. Everything was excellent, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Having been in the restaurant business myself, it's a pleasure to eat in places like here. Don’t hesitate, you can go there with your eyes closed

20/11/2024: Magnificent bar/restaurant with a beautiful view of the port and the sea, good cider and delicious mussels and fries as well as helpful and very friendly staff!

11/12/2024: We are disappointed with our lunch. We used to come and eat when we were in the area. Disappointing cuisine, specialties on the menu such as kouign amann and far breton but not available to order. Less warm atmosphere than with the previous owners. We have the impression of having stumbled upon a tourist trap creperie. Make money with little investment. And one more, the restaurant card is not taken. We won't come back again.
