13/05/2026: First time for me and second time for my partner, we had a wonderful meal. The galette was incredibly generously filled and the mussels were very generous, plus the dessert was a real treat! A place to keep in mind for our next visit to Penestin. I highly recommend it.

02/03/2026: I ordered a flank steak, the meat was very tough, a good portion of it inedible. My friend had the daily special, "Macro sauerkraut served with a can opener!" I mentioned the flank steak to the waitress, but there was no attempt at compensation... deplorable behavior.

01/07/2026: Reopening less than a year after the fire – kudos to the companies involved. Everything smells of good bread. Disaster struck today, Sunday, July 5, 2020. Everything is destroyed; my heart goes out to you. Previous review: Great selection of breads and pastries. Easy access. Smiles included. However, a new "lumberjack" bread that needs more rising and a less dense crumb; it could also be made into baguettes.

22/03/2026: The dishes were very well cooked and served piping hot, it's a shame the side dish wasn't included!

17/02/2026: The starters were good. The caramel pork then seemed to have been microwaved; the meat was tough. The fried rice was nothing special. The doughnuts for dessert were good, but elsewhere you get three for the same price; the second one was better.

30/03/2026: What a brilliant find! We came here on our first day in France after seeing a sign on the main road. The staff are wonderful, so kind to our children, kindly spoke to us in English and tolerated our (terrible) attempts at French. Food was wonderful. Definitely a place for us to return to on future trips!

11/04/2026: Honestly, a gem! Authentic Senegalese cuisine, bursting with flavor; you can tell everything is homemade. The welcome is warm, the staff incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere truly pleasant. You feel right at home. I recommend it 100%, I'll definitely be back! 🔥

05/01/2026: Our roast chicken has become a neighborhood staple! Very good. Always a polite welcome, which isn't the case in many other establishments. And the prices are normal, not inflated! 😁👍👏💪👌

01/07/2026: No comment, I advise against eating there, disappointed 😞. As for the rest, we felt like we were in the way. We ordered aperitifs and asked to wait, but they arrived a minute before the main courses. The goat cheese salad was crudely presented with sand on the side, just like mine. The meat was good until the fateful 30 minutes of digestion, I won't go into detail... In short, a shame.

29/06/2026: Disappointed by our meals (overcooked pizzas, ribeye steak ordered rare but arrived well-done...). Cutlery wasn't clean. Positive point: the service.

23/05/2026: It's unbelievable to be behind a bar counter and have so much contempt for your customers. Absolutely avoid this place, even if everything is closed at the fort. Go all the way to Guidel beach; there you'll find genuinely friendly managers and servers. 👍 Mr. Vender, either find another job, but honestly, just run away! 😱

21/04/2026: We waited 45 minutes for the menu and for a server to come to our table. Part of our order was forgotten. We ordered a chicken casserole: it was sparsely filled and very average. Finally, at the register, we discovered that the side dish was charged separately, making the price exorbitant for a mediocre meal. And to top it all off, the cashier made a rude remark, without even a goodbye or thank you. A complete disappointment.

08/04/2026: We were very pleased with this restaurant. We received a very warm welcome. I'm not originally from Vannes, but it was a wonderful discovery; it's a refreshing change from the usual restaurants on the port, a very pleasant surprise. The service was very professional and quick, and the two waiters were very kind and friendly. We only came for a drink, but if we could have, we would have stayed for a meal. The dishes looked delicious, and the cocktail was very well made. We can't wait to come back and try their food; I highly recommend it :)

26/10/2025: The pizzas are delicious, with a thin crust and generous toppings. The waitress is very kind and efficient. The owner is very nice, contrary to what some reviews have said. The coffee and hot chocolate are excellent. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
