26/04/2026: We had a wonderful time on Saturday evening. The menu was perfect, accompanied by appetizers and wine. The entertainment and atmosphere were excellent. The well-explained dance lesson allowed us to have fun and end the evening on a high note.

25/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! The couscous is absolutely delicious. The manager, Karim, is very professional and offers a warm welcome; you feel right at home, but with top-notch service. I highly recommend it.

09/04/2026: A strange experience... The display window on the ground floor is enticing, but you can't order what's on offer when you're upstairs. The upstairs menu is complicated to understand... In short, it's off to a bad start. The quiche was okay, nothing special. The accompanying salad was poorly washed. The tabbouleh was bland and tasteless. And what about the mushroom soup... I love a good meal, but this was nothing but watery and medicinal. I understand the decision not to add salt, which is commendable, but please season your dishes. I gave it two stars because the desserts are good and the drink selection is nice. I wouldn't recommend this place for lunch upstairs.

08/04/2026: A tiny slice of leek and salmon quiche—no salmon, no salt, no flavor, as bland as could be; a cup of lentil and carrot soup—no carrots, tasteless except for the taste of water; a cup of equally bland tabbouleh. All for €12.50. Really not great.

17/04/2026: Avoid McDonald's at all costs; they always make order mistakes and, of course, it's impossible to reach them by phone.

26/04/2026: Travelling in France for a few weeks and I haven’t felt the need to review anywhere, either because the existing reviews were on point or because the experience just met expectations. Randomly chose this restaurant when needing a rest stop driving back to Paris down the A1 today. Turned out we crashed the Sunday lunch session popular with the locals, but they cheerfully found us a table regardless. They served a cracking duck, and the coffee was excellent. Wish I could have fit in dessert because that looked good too. A great find. Highly recommended.

21/01/2026: Very disappointed. We bought scratch cards, we won… and when we went back, they either didn't have any money or they told us to get lost, saying, "Go to the Chinese shop in Milly." Unfriendly staff, I don't recommend it.

24/04/2026: A very warm welcome. The homemade bread rolls are delicious. The pasta dish is also excellent. A quiet place that encourages conversation. Reasonable prices.

25/04/2026: I went to the Blanc Manger restaurant before it was bought out. There's no comparison. It went from gourmet to frozen, supermarket-quality food. Paying 40 euros per person for such a bland, cafeteria-style meal? No thanks. Hopefully, it was a one-off, as there were only five of us on a Friday night. It's a real shame because the setting is lovely.

06/04/2026: The casserole was good. The fries were very good, but the portion was really too small. I expected better for the price. However, the staff were very welcoming and professional.

02/05/2026: First time here for us, we stumbled upon your place by chance. A very warm welcome, the staff were all smiles. Having children, the games were just perfect! The meal was perfect! The portions were very generous! Delicious! I highly recommend it and I'll gladly come back! Thank you!

28/04/2026: The service was very, too slow. I got my coffee quickly, but our brunch arrived 30 minutes later, so we arrived outside our allotted time slot at the castle :( The atmosphere and decor are outdated! I don't recommend it.

07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Venette! Le Méga is a restaurant that pleasantly surprises. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in the ambiance of a Savoyard chalet, with plenty of wood, warm decor, and intimate spaces reminiscent of mountain inns. The atmosphere is friendly and truly refreshing, especially considering it's so close to Compiègne. The dining room is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with tables equally suited to group meals and quieter dinners. The menu offers generous and delicious French cuisine: beautiful cuts of meat, cheese specialties, regional dishes, and a few perfectly executed classics. You can tell the food is made for pleasure, simple yet satisfying. Special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. It's the kind of place where you quickly feel at ease. A welcoming spot where you can have a wonderful time, and where you'll naturally want to return.

23/12/2025: Best Pakistani restaurant in the area, truly the dishes are excellent and the naans too. Very warm welcome, I highly recommend it.
