16/05/2026: I don't usually leave reviews, but I was quite disappointed with our stay. My partner and I are used to staying in high-end hotels (especially these past few months as we've been looking for an exceptional venue for our wedding), and unfortunately, a few things let us down: - We couldn't get a table at the restaurant in the evening. We hadn't been informed in advance that a reservation was required, nor that the restaurant was already full. We found out around 7 p.m., and the reception staff seemed rather cold (the receptionist offered no help and was quite unfriendly). We therefore had to urgently find a restaurant open on a public holiday, even though we had planned to stay on the property. - There was no refrigerator in the room, and only one bottle of water was provided. These are small details, but in this type of establishment, they make a difference. - No help with luggage, which is quite surprising for a 4-star hotel (we were used to always having a valet at other establishments of the same type). Overall: the castle itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, we expected a certain level of comfort that we didn't find (in terms of service, staff shortages, attention to detail, etc.).

15/01/2026: I've known and been a regular customer of this restaurant since 1993. As a child, I always went with my parents, siblings, and later with friends, colleagues, and family. The welcome has always been warm, the food is good and fairly priced, and the service is impeccable. The fireplace is very pleasant...

12/05/2026: Nothing is right. The food is frozen and tasteless. The burger has dry shredded chicken, and it's missing lettuce and onion. The fries are frozen. We were told there was no salad since this morning (isn't there a supermarket in Beauvais?), so there were no salads on the menu. The dry cordon bleu was served with fries but no mixed greens… The music blares Lady Gaga covers. I do not recommend it.

07/05/2026: Good evening, We arrived on a Wednesday evening at 9:30 PM, a party of four. The waiter came to take our order at 10:10 PM after we waved him over. Once served, the food was actually good, but no one came to collect our finished plates until 11:00 PM. Why did we have to wait so long? Because no one came to ask if we wanted dessert; again, we had to call the waiter. In the end, we ordered one Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream sundae), and it took no less than 15 minutes to get it out because they were apparently out of vanilla. Regarding this Dame Blanche, I'm still looking for the chocolate; perhaps they were out of it? So, in the end, the service was disastrous, with incredibly long wait times, but the owner didn't seem worried, so I guess this is normal. Despite this delay, which was reported to the waiter, there was no gesture of goodwill. I even think the manager avoided us because the feedback wouldn't have been good. The only positive point is that you can only improve your service, because you can't do any worse. 02/04/2026: A major disappointment for a dinner costing over €100 per person. While the decor, inspired by the castle's interior, is remarkable and the drinks excellent, the food is mediocre. For example: the grey shrimp (from frozen), the foie gras ravioli were completely tasteless... or the salty caviar was so overpowering it was almost painful to eat. In short, more pretentious than delicious.

03/05/2026: We ate on location. The food was quite tasty, although one dish was forgotten but still charged, and the service leaves something to be desired. They are clearly used to takeout and not really to table service.

21/03/2026: For a first time, very disappointed: tiny samosas, tasteless chicken curry (we're still looking for the chicken), noodles that looked like vermicelli, and a "gourmet coffee" that was only gourmet in name (a scoop of ice cream, four pieces of nougat, and coffee).

14/02/2026: This kebab shop is truly the best I've ever tried, in every way. The staff is exceptional; you're guaranteed to leave in a good mood. You're greeted with a smile and always offered tea or coffee while you wait. And most importantly, there's a great selection, the food is delicious, and above all, they're generous!

19/04/2026: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Lusitalia. The pizzas are very sparsely topped, the crust is thin, and completely burnt underneath. The result is far from satisfactory. Adding to this is the attitude of the person taking the order, who is particularly condescending. This lack of respect for customers is unacceptable. We are good customers, and such an unpleasant welcome is simply inadmissible. We will not be ordering from you again. Reply to the manager regarding the message below: Even in writing, your tone remains haughty, and your response is clear proof of this, particularly through the passive-aggressive language you used. Admitting that you addressed your customers inappropriately would not make you a bad manager; quite the opposite. Yet, you persist in a condescending attitude. The fact that we regularly order from you does not mean that your pizzas are good, but simply that you are among the cheapest. 12/05/2026: Restaurant visit with a large group. Excellent service, superb food, lovely atmosphere. We were very satisfied. Everything went smoothly from the reservation to the payment. Highly recommended for tour groups. The staff also speaks good English.
