26/04/2026: A pleasant and friendly surprise! I went with my husband and two daughters, and we found the clientele to be welcoming. We received excellent service, the waiters were pleasant, the food was exquisite, and the setting was lovely (a small garden with an aviary and a well-maintained fish pond). We had a wonderful time.¹

15/05/2026: First visit! Friendly and very pleasant staff. The owner is very friendly and attentive to the well-being of his customers. Excellent cuisine, beautiful presentation, the sauces are perfect with the dishes. Beautiful setting, overlooking the sea. The prices are the same as for restaurants of this style, but you also eat very well. The service wasn't rushed; we had time to savor the dishes. Form your own opinion, but for me, it's a restaurant to recommend, so I recommend it without hesitation.

23/04/2026: SURPRISING AND DISAPPOINTING❗ This establishment is categorized as a "truck stop" restaurant. The quality of the main course, or other dishes, leaves much to be desired, as the concept of a "truck stop" restaurant is a limited menu of a few simple and hearty dishes, and therein lies the problem: all I got was "a fillet of pollock with wild garlic velouté" and steamed potatoes. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED TO SEE A SMALL DEEP PLATE ARRIVE IN WHICH WAS, IN ITS CENTER, A SMALL SQUARE OF WHITE FISH (FROZEN WITHOUT BULL) SURROUNDED, IN ALL, BY THREE SMALL, SLIGHTLY OVAL POTATOES, CUT IN HALF, BARELY FIVE CENTIMETERS BY THREE, THAT IS, INTO SIX HALF POTATOES, ARRANGED IN A WELL-SPACED ROSETTE COVERED WITH A THIN LAYER OF TWO MILLIMETERS OF A WILD GARLIC VELOUTÉ. If this establishment is a truck stop, it's meant for truck drivers on a diet! Quite surprising! I was left wanting more and still hungry!

15/05/2026: From starter to main course and dessert, I found them all to be very good. The staff is very friendly, and there are always a few amuse-bouches as accompaniments, which is a nice touch. The service is quick and efficient, and the dishes are beautifully presented. I would especially like to highlight the duck breast with its sweet potato purée (?) which was divine and cooked to perfection! If you're not from the area, I also recommend the cheese platter featuring exclusively regional cheeses. Finally, a small detail: the menu changes weekly, as far as I understand. However, one slightly disappointing aspect was the armchairs. They were very comfortable, but when you're tall like me (over 1.85m), your knee touches the table, making the position rather uncomfortable. But that didn't change my opinion; despite that, it was a very enjoyable experience!

14/05/2026: Arrived at 1:33 PM, after a detour. There were 10 people in the restaurant. We asked for a table for 3. The response was that they no longer take orders after 1:30 PM! For 3 minutes...

05/04/2026: It had been a long time since we'd been back to this restaurant, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the change in cuisine. The food was delicious, and the presentation of the dishes was very elegant and original. Congratulations to the new chef and his assistant.

13/06/2026: I could have given zero stars. A new, untrained employee thrown in blindly. It would be good to review their initial training and provide more in-depth training. It's a McDonald's, with an unbelievable crowd and the stadium next door; they're supposed to be fully operational from the start. I waited 15 minutes for my order to arrive at the table, and nothing. They had prepared half my order to go, so one of my children couldn't eat because I had to go to the register for a meal that wasn't available at the kiosk (a Croque Monsieur). The new employee had just put down a McDonald's order, and when you go to see them, they're just new... Sorry, but once you've paid, you're supposed to have your complete meal. And with these mistakes, an apology would be appreciated, knowing that it happens very often. This McDonald's is one to avoid.

11/06/2026: 6:40 PM I went to McDonald's to get two kids' meals to go. I went to the inside checkout because I didn't know how the self-service kiosk worked, and the young man told me, "Oh no, I'm not taking orders here because it's busy." "Oh really? Where's the busy? Nobody outside and nobody inside." I told him, loudly, "I'm going to the McDonald's in Auchy-les-Mines, it's better." The Bollaert McDonald's is only good for football days; it's always packed then. Incompetent.

30/05/2026: A magical place, excellent service, excellent food, affordable prices – in short, fantastic! I recommend it without hesitation.
