31/10/2023: Nous avons séjourné 2 fois dans cet hôtel, 1 nuit à chaque fois. Le lieu est un peu reculé mais de l'extérieur, le château est très beau. La première fois l'accueil a plutôt été froid. Nous avons appris sur place, que le restaurant n' était pas ouvert le lundi. Les chambres offrent un confort acceptable, même si les salles de bain sont sommaires. La seconde fois l'accueil a été plus chaleureux, surtout le personnel du restaurant. Le restaurant, d'ailleurs, qui offre une cuisine plus que correcte.
L'ensemble est mitigé, parfait pour un transit d'une nuit, mais difficile de voir un séjour plus long. Dommage, l'hôtel pourrait être magnifique.

18/07/2024: C'est toujours avec plaisir que nous venons à l'auberge du Molinel, et nous ne sommes jamais déçus. Un accueil au petit soin, un décor charmant, des mets copieux, succulents et bien présentés, des petites attentions particulières...bref un vrai délice !
Et pour les ados un peu difficile un menu à 37 euros (entrée plat dessert) avec un excellent steack tartare frites les raviront !!!
11/07/2024: Nous avons découvert cette auberge l’an passé. Nous avons tellement apprécié la cuisine du chef que nous venons d’y retourner. Rien n’a changé, toujours une excellente cuisine « fait maison » avec de bons produits. L’accueil chaleureux de la patronne, le professionnalisme et la gentillesse du serveur Cédric font que nous ne pouvons que recommander chaudement cet établissement.

Top-notch welcome, top-notch cuisine!

We were in a small, noisy room, without windows, between the kitchen door and the comings and goings of the waiters and right next to the toilets! My mussels marinières were reheated! Without juice! No onions or celery, nothing! A shame! I have never eaten such disgusting mussels!

15/09/2024: If you're looking for a locals place at reasonable prices slightly off the beaten track, try here. Family run establishment. Excellent cheap limited selection menu if you're on a budget.
Mussels are a specialty with lots of different types on the menu. Save room for pudding, The poached pear was amazing

It was the first time I went to a tavern for my grandmother's birthday and she had an unforgettable time there. It had been a long time since I had seen him like that and his smile and his joy of life will remain forever engraved in my memory.
Once again a big thank you to the tavern team for their joie de vivre, their quality of service and their good humor. Good luck for the future and looking forward to coming and seeing you again.
20/08/2024: A wonderful place with a family atmosphere the meals are very good homemade at a more than reasonable price we eat very well we dance there with different artists or orchestra each time received by a boss and her extraordinary team I go there and I dreamed there regularly come and discover for yourself you will not be disappointed 👍

However, we live 200 km away, but as soon as we are passing through the region, a stop at this restaurant is obligatory, one of the best in the region, the owner and all the employees are extremely friendly. The cuisine is very very very good, the prices are reasonable for a seaside place and given the quality of the dishes, I have nothing to complain about, you will see us again, that's for sure.

04/08/2024: La Renardière est un petit restaurant niché dans le village de Gauchin. Il fait aussi bar et débit de tabac.
La patronne est extrêmement gentille et reçoit ses clients dans une salle spacieuse et agréable avec vue sur un très beau jardin (une terrasse est d'ailleurs disponible si le temps le permet). On soigne bien les clients et on pense confort : nappes et serviettes en tissus rappelant le satin, chemins de table.
Nous avons mangé en entrée : deux ficelles picardes au Maroilles et terrine, en plat burger Maroilles, carbonnade et poutine gallinéçoise et pour finir, un trio de panna cotta. Le tout pour un peu plus de 80€ à trois avec deux boissons.
Des plats maison et frais, un accueil chaleureux et un cadre très agréable. Tout était parfait !
