14/06/2026: Passing though Calais and glad we found this place. Absolutely delicious, crusty, fluffy, tasty pizza bases with generous toppings. We ate early (and the weather was miserable) so the place was quiet, but the lovely owner made us feel welcome - despite my poor french..

27/05/2026: First order and we weren't disappointed. The pizzas are generous and delicious. The crust is soft and fluffy. The person who served us was friendly and accommodating of our requests (removing the onions, etc.). I recommend it.

19/05/2026: Friendly welcome. Excellent, hearty but easily digestible Welsh rarebit with good value for money. Don't hesitate to mention if you have a specific time to respect, as a family meal was taking place the day we visited and we had a bit of a wait, which prevented us from enjoying one of the desserts that we were really looking forward to! We definitely intend to come back to make up for it!

17/05/2026: Two hours in the restaurant for three kids' meals and three burgers. The food arrived cold; the kids wouldn't even eat it. The taste was very average. The wait was incredibly long. Unacceptable. Never again...

16/11/2025: Haven't rated the food as we didn't eat here. The restaurant was busy and when we walked in not one staff member attended to us, we had to literally stop a member of staff to ask for a table for 2. They just shrugged and pointed to a table of 6 nearby. We then had to get more attention to get menus. Then again to order to be told there was no steak left in a rude way. So we just left. There was a noisy atmosphere and a bit pub like at the bar area which didn't make it feel like a restaurant. It is a big place with 2 floors, but they need to have enough staff to cope with the size they can cater for and train their staff better. Whilst we were waiting I noticed others also struggling to get attention and quite a lot of food left on plates, which is bever a good sign.

10/05/2026: Excellent brasserie! We had scallops and leek fondue as a starter, and penne pasta with fresh and smoked salmon as a main course. Very good. The service was impeccable.

29/05/2026: Excellent meal. The lobster was cooked to perfection. Accompanied by excellent dauphine potatoes.

27/05/2026: The seafood was good, but the table for two was very small; there wasn't enough room to eat comfortably, and we were practically sitting next to other customers. The seafood ice cream melted very quickly, and the seafood and mayonnaise ended up swimming in water. The portion of butter served with the platter was tiny.

13/03/2026: There's a touch of the "Chez Georgette" restaurant, which inspired the place in the past, in this establishment called "Le Belrem," revisited with a Romain-Quentin twist—the current young owners and brothers. The menus and the quality of the seasonal produce are masterfully orchestrated in the kitchen by Charlotte, who adds a subtle touch of originality. Good, simple, authentic food with an extra dose of friendliness!

23/05/2026: Positive points: The welcome was excellent and the staff were accommodating (they offered us a beer to compensate for the mistakes). However, the food was a huge disappointment. The mussels were overcooked with a cream sauce diluted with water, and the burger was disappointing (the patty was overcooked and the Maroilles cheese hadn't melted). The service was great, but the food definitely needs improvement.

28/04/2026: Great! We were allowed to dine there today without a reservation and with our dog. The food was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert, including the espresso at the end. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and the price was fair. We'd gladly come again!
