29/05/2024: Hello, a restaurant we had to go to for a while now... today it's done and I can add that I'm adding it to my few favorite restaurants in the area. Service, meals and more, everything was there. I almost forgot, the fries 😍excellent!!

17/03/2024: I gave it 5 stars but I could have given it 10. People who love their welcoming, friendly jobs. I think it’s one of the best places in this category we’ve eaten at. I discovered flavors that I didn't know, I love them. We will go back and bring other guests. Even if it is more than 100km from my home the opportunity will present itself.

04/08/2024: La Renardière est un petit restaurant niché dans le village de Gauchin. Il fait aussi bar et débit de tabac. La patronne est extrêmement gentille et reçoit ses clients dans une salle spacieuse et agréable avec vue sur un très beau jardin (une terrasse est d'ailleurs disponible si le temps le permet). On soigne bien les clients et on pense confort : nappes et serviettes en tissus rappelant le satin, chemins de table. Nous avons mangé en entrée : deux ficelles picardes au Maroilles et terrine, en plat burger Maroilles, carbonnade et poutine gallinéçoise et pour finir, un trio de panna cotta. Le tout pour un peu plus de 80€ à trois avec deux boissons. Des plats maison et frais, un accueil chaleureux et un cadre très agréable. Tout était parfait !

04/09/2024: Very good address for a chip shop. What is interesting is that there is a room to eat while being protected in case of bad weather. What's more, the person receiving is very nice.

15/08/2024: Montreuil is a lovely town with lots to explore. The hotel breakfast was excellent. We were asked each morning if we would like eggs and how we would like them cooked. Soft boiled and fried were our choices and done perfectly. Room was spacious with a huge bathroom and our own little seating area immediately outside. Grounds were beautiful and everything within walking distance.

15/08/2024: Joli cadre dans ce jardin, service très agréable, sommelière expérimentée. Nous avons pris le menu dégustation en 6 plats avec accord mets et vin: très bonne cuisine, jolie présentation et bonne accord . Petit bémol : manque de coordination entre le plat servi, le vin qui devrait aller avec et que l’on doit attendre. Temps d’attente très long entre chaque plat , un peu dommage pour la qualité de la cuisine. Un petit effort dans la logistique et ce sera parfait. Nous avons ce passé un très agréable moment.

15/09/2024: We went to eat with my partner this Sunday lunchtime and we were very well received! Good French cuisine the way we like it, all in simplicity and exceptional taste! The value for money is there. We will come back without hesitation and recommend it to anyone visiting Marquise, the team is friendly and professional!

13/08/2024: Exquisite place for a country break! Extremely beautiful place decorated with great taste, rooms are comfy and well equipped. Peacefully nested in the countryside by a stream, the place used to be an old water mill. Great local food, great drinks selection and fabulous breakfast, all homemade. Will visit again!

28/08/2024: Very nice restaurant in Ambleteuse on the coast, good welcome, friendly staff. The menu is varied, you can enjoy grilled sea bass, mussels, leg of lamb or a good piece of angus beef. The hardest part is choosing!

26/08/2024: Nice restaurant, good food and tasty wines, at reasonable prices, and open on Sundays. Minus: service completely loses sight of us at the end of the evening. All unused tables will be cleared (while guests are still eating). New guests will be turned away at 8:00 PM. Restaurant would be 'complete'. We had the same thing on Friday evening as hotel guests. At 7:30 PM we were also sent away because it was said to be 'complete'. While not all tables are occupied.

17/08/2024: We arrived late in the evening after using the online reservation and the staff did not know we had booked, as we had driven from Lyon we were frazzled but the young man that served us and took care of us was excellent and told the kitchen. The food took a long time to come out, an hour at least, and we had drinks and bread in the meantime. The person cooking the food did try but all the food came separately, and I imagine they had been left on their own to cook it. The noodle dishes were good, my burger came with chips and mayonnaise, and the meat was cooked well as requested but the vegetables that came with it were fridge cold. The chips were mostly overcooked too which was a shame. The wait staff were very quick and friendly with everything, and had tidied the whole restaurant by the time we finished and we paid and left promptly.
