12/12/2025: Once a Sainte-Maxime institution for wood-fired pizza, this pizzeria is now a mere shadow of its former self. A customer for over 20 years, I've witnessed a decline in quality over the past few years, both in the execution of the pizzas (poorly distributed toppings, overcooked or undercooked, and soggy pizzas whenever cream is added) and in the quality of the ingredients. The Emmental cheese, listed on the menu, has been replaced by a bland, fatty cheese blend; the olives, once delicious, have been replaced by tasteless Crespo-type black olives; the merguez sausages are low-grade, and so on. Meanwhile, the prices have increased significantly. A real shame for what used to be the best pizzas in town. And thankfully, competition has flourished.
17/11/2025: What a disappointment... Pizzas reserved for 8 pm... My husband arrived around 7:50 pm... We got home, barely 5 minutes later, and the pizzas were cold... Soaked boxes... Everything fell apart when we tried to eat, olives were thrown in haphazardly and tasteless... My husband was so disappointed he didn't eat anything... The taste was really mediocre... Rubbery. The service was very poor. Truly disappointed.

07/12/2025: Friendly welcome, fast service, generous portions, homemade fries. The chef came to check if we were satisfied. Reasonable price.
06/12/2025: Not happy at all, the music was blasting (Jul, which doesn't fit the restaurant's atmosphere).
This restaurant was great before the change of ownership.
The service was mediocre; we had to clear our own table :( Not great considering the price.
The food wasn't anything special, too many spices, and the escalope was inedible.
I definitely don't recommend it, avoid it at all costs… very disappointed.

05/07/2025: I went to this bar with a friend today. We sat down and waited 25 minutes, but no one came to see us.
We went to the bar and saw that no one was there, and they told us, "Don't worry, we're coming."
We sat down again 45 minutes later, still no one there.
The terrace was almost empty.
Very disappointed.
23/06/2025: A great experience at Caliente!
The brunch is very nice, and their burger is truly delicious (soft bun, quality meat, crispy fries).
Despite the crowds, the servers remain pleasant and helpful.
A special mention goes to the waitress Enola, who, in addition to making the best café crèmes in all of Rennes, always welcomes you with a warm smile!

13/12/2024: Lack of respect on the phone. The staff is completely disrespectful. I don't understand why working in this restaurant is unprofessional. He absolutely insulted me on the phone. Yesterday, when I asked for information about a large cheese pizza, he said he didn't have time and insulted me and that I was breaking his head. And when I told him that I knew the boss Boss he told me yes I don't care about him he doesn't work in the evening

23/10/2024: Pizza express à éviter. 1h00 d'attente à la commande ok, sauf que nos 5 malheureuses pizzas sont arrivées après 1h30, en plus froide, sachant que j'étais à 5mn en voiture. Inadmissible. L'excuse du livreur c'est que ce n'est pas lui qui fait les pizzas, sauf qu'elles sont froides... En plus il répond d'une désinvolture la plus totale, c'était presque de notre faute. Pas une excuse valable, pas de geste commercial, rien.
Bref je déconseille très fortement cette pizzeria.

Nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant le 10 octobre. Les pizzas étaient excellentes rien à redire . Pour le dessert nous avons commandé des coupes glacées avec de la meringue et chocolat chaud, il n’y avait pas de meringue et le chocolat chaud n’y était pas non plus tout juste un espèce de chocolat liquide dans la glace.en le signalant, on nous dit que maintenant il n’y a plus de meringue mais c’était quand même sur la carte. Pour le café nous avons eu droit à des tasses et sous tasses sales que nous avons d’ailleurs dû redonner. Pas de geste ni de mots d’excuses. C’est bien dommage…..

22/08/2024: D'accord on paie l'emplacement et d'accord les pizzas sont très bonnes, mais à plus de 20€, heureusement !
La carte des vins n'est vraiment pas au top pour des prix élevés, personnellement je ne reviendrai pas.
08/08/2024: Forte augmentation des prix depuis ma dernière visite dans ce restaurant. .. salades repas avec beaucoup de salade pour le volume et peu d' autres ingrédients, pas un dessert à moins de 9.50.

29/09/2024: Being the only ones to deliver to Valras, I ignored the negative reviews and ordered... Result: 29€ wasted, I would have been better off making them myself... Pizza certainly of a normal size, well stocked, but disgusting because they are way too salty! I ate two portions, the rest went in the trash. This will teach me to order from places rated 3/5....
27/08/2024: As vacationers in the area it was my first, apart from the price which I still find expensive (69€ for 4 senior pizzas) because being used to where I come from for senior pizza at 5€ and 6€ or at the formula ONE PIZZA PURCHASED = ONE FREE, we were satisfied with the quality of the pizza in terms of taste and level of topping generously dosed..... It took 2 halves (the same evening at dinner and the next day at lunch) to finish everything 👌🏾
Ps: it's cool that you still take paper restaurant tickets but please also switch to the restaurant ticket card so bring a bank card terminal

The welcome is great, the food is excellent, thanks again to the cook,
Our guests left fully satisfied and coming from all over France, they will keep a good image of Marseille. Everyone was surprised to find such a welcoming place suited to this type of evening.

The blonde lady at the reception was very unpleasant,
children are not welcome, we can see that this is clearly disturbing, especially children in strollers!
Burgers on the menu “All our burgers are accompanied by fries and salads”
No, you just have the burger and a small basket of fries! No salad as noted on the menu!
The young waitress, very kind and pleasant, luckily 2 stars for her!
21/09/2024: Awful experience with the worst food we ever imagined coul exist in France! Bland, tasteless dishes that are a shame to serve to normal humans. Unfriendly lady too at the entrance. A real tourist trap. AVOID!!!

25/01/2025: Saturday lunchtime in an empty restaurant and a cold welcome, waitresses staring all the way to check that we have finished our plates, not a smile, we feel observed and judged throughout the meal. The food is not really that good for the price at 2 p.m. you are practically kicked out, a place to avoid.
24/01/2025: Friday January 24, 2025, we had lunch between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. with 3 adults at Babbo Nîmes before going to the cinema. We were 6 customers and 3 employees. The adorable waitress. She did everything she could to please us. We asked for bossa nova as background music. However, the fries were overcooked. The breads/buns were cold. The meat was rare, as requested, and the organic rosé wine was very good. The room is large and friendly. I was surprised that all the other restaurants went bankrupt but it's true that during the week at lunchtime there is no one in the parking lot either.

15/10/2024: Accueil chaleureux 🥰 Ambiance chaleureuse 🥰 le restaurant est petit mais c’est ça l’Italie 🇮🇹 à l’ancienne, la pizza 🍕 est excellente 🙌 (feu de bois) et le pichet de rosé est délicieux 🤤 merci encore pour la deuxième salade 🥗 à l’ail, la décoration vous fera envoler pour l’Italie 🇮🇹, les prix sont corrects, mais que c’est bon d’entendre l’accent italien à Toulon ! A bientôt…
13/10/2024: Pizzas correctes sans plus. Le Calzone est trop cuit et sec à l'intérieur. La pâte des pizzas est cirée (faite maison ?).
Les profiteroles sont décongelées. Le service n'est pas très sympathique. Pas de digestif proposé alors qu'il l'était à toutes les autres table...
Addition apportée sans la demander, on sentait qu'il fallait libérer rapidement la table. Accessoirement la note est faite à la main, pas de passage en caisse.
