10/05/2026: My sister and I came to eat here, and our experience was quite disappointing. First of all, there was no drinks menu, which prevented us from choosing at our leisure. So, we ended up ordering a blackberry kir by default. Regarding the service, we were asked if we could have our starters sent, to which we replied no, not right away. However, no one came back to us afterward: we had to flag down the staff to request our starter, which is not very professional. The starter (salmon baked egg) was served in small, very hot ramekins, without any warning. I actually burned myself handling it, which could have been avoided with a simple warning. For the main course (baked fish at €23.90), we were told it would be sea bass. The fish was good, but the side dishes were really inadequate: just a few new potatoes, some strips of bell pepper (which I don't like), and a small piece of eggplant. The whole thing was clearly lacking in generosity. It's a shame, because with a few improvements to the service and the side dishes, the experience could be much better.

27/03/2026: For us, this became ‘the little place with the rude farmer’. Nice terrace, good coffee and tea, but an incredibly rude employee taking the orders. We used to come here regularly last year, but there is now an employee walking around whom we didn't know yet. From now on, we will just take the chairlift opposite the terrace up and then enjoy the restaurant you arrive at right away (Le Chalet). Delicious waffles, large cup of tea, beautiful terrace, and friendly staff.

16/04/2026: This is the best Italian restaurant in Chalon. Pizzas are between €12 and €14, which is very reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients. As for other dishes, there's a wide selection available, always of excellent quality, of course. Go without hesitation.

18/01/2026: I left with some doubt about the amount of my bill, but I didn't ask to see the receipt, so if the restaurant owner made a mistake in his favor, it may be due to my negligence.

17/05/2026: We hesitated, but we shouldn't have... the pizza had an extremely thin crust and tasted watery, with undercooked potatoes and onions. We had to search for the bacon because it was practically nonexistent. What a disgrace! We're not tourists... so too bad for you!

19/04/2026: I've never eaten such a bad pizza. Absolutely no flavor. A chicken pizza with slices of chicken that looked like Fleury Michon ham. I've never seen anything like it! No taste, no enjoyment whatsoever, for almost €15 a pizza 🍕

01/02/2026: The pizza was pretty bad, but one evening when I ordered a pizza, a guy named Kais told me to get a tuna pizza when I wanted a goat cheese and honey pizza. He kept saying, "Don't worry, my dad's good." I told him, "No thanks, I don't really like it." He said, "Please pay for one." So I told him, "Sorry, I only have the exact change for the goat cheese and honey." He said, "Please, my dad's at home, my mom doesn't feed me anymore." I said, "Okay, if you want, I'll buy you a Snickers at the corner store." He was happy, so we worked something out and he let me order my pizza. Anyway, this guy should be thrown out. Otherwise, the pizza was very good, a little dry and burnt, but it was still okay.

13/06/2026: Excellent restaurant with great value for money. Very good pizza and pasta. A great outing with colleagues, and we were all very satisfied. Highly recommended!

02/06/2026: A manager who tells you "we open at noon" just because you're looking at the menu, not even a hello, has absolutely no business sense. He must have been a prison guard. The waitress was no better. She served us when we asked for chili oil for the pizza that had just been served, but she acted like a jerk, saying there were other tables to take orders. Luckily, the pizzas were good and well-topped, but given the atmosphere, we didn't order dessert. What a shame.

28/05/2026: It seems complicated for some businesses to provide their actual opening hours. I went there at 12:22 AM (after recovery time) and it was closed, even though the Google page said it was open until 5 AM. This lack of professionalism wastes the time of people who travel to the establishment.

24/05/2026: Best tacos in Lyon and Lion-McGill! The vegetables stay fresh and crunchy inside. The pizzas are excellent. Go without hesitation!
