17/09/2024: Small pizzas, but quite good. This pizzeria was described to me as the best in Bayeux, but perhaps it has lost its place.

07/09/2024: Will not serve you if you are English. Despite the entire restaurant being empty

20/12/2024: You can easily count the 6 slices of merguez (equivalent to approximately 1/2 merguez) and the 5 strips of zucchini. can do better! Personally, I prefer to buy my pizza from Boulangerie Ange. I am willing to admit that in the price there is the service, but the quantity and number of ingredients are limited to escape.

23/09/2024: Pasta was served with plenty of good sauce. The pizzas have a very light base that you can only get in France. The chocolate cake is a poem.

18/08/2024: Pizza très bonnes, garniture généreuse et bonne pâte, dans un petit restaurant de village agréable où nous avons passé une bonne soirée ! Mais quel dommage que ce soit le seul restaurant ouvert à des kilomètres à la ronde … mangez une pizza au pays du Saint-Nectaire était assez triste !

09/08/2024: Très agréable, très bon et l'ensemble des serveurs sont super gentil. Les produits sont très bon et très grande qualité ! Une adresse a gardé si vous passez par là ! Les prix sont très abordable.

03/07/2025: The welcome is good, the staff is very friendly and plentiful. The service is fast and accurate. On the other hand, I ate a pizza with undercooked dough, yet still with traces of cooking on both the top and bottom. This is because the wood-fired oven is too hot and the dough burns before it's cooked. I complained to the manager, who offered to bake it again, which they did very kindly. But in the end, the dough still wasn't cooked. To finish, I was given my free pitcher of wine, and I thank them for that. Basically, the pizza chef doesn't know how to use his wood-fired oven—a shame. I'm a bit picky about the 2 stars for the food, but the restaurant is called "La Pizza."

28/06/2025: Everything was very good, the staff very friendly. The pizza knives might need sharpening, but otherwise it was perfect.

21/09/2024: Everything was perfect, the meal (mussels/fries), the atmosphere (music on the terrace) and the service (very pleasant and welcoming staff).

14/09/2024: I recommend ++!! The pizzas were excellent, generous. The same goes for children’s menus. The staff are welcoming and warm. We felt a family atmosphere. We were able to see the chef who introduced himself to us and we found him very professional (something rare in most restaurants today). You can go there with your eyes closed! In any case, we will return there 😉 Long live The Potion!
