04/10/2026: The pizza is definitely cooked in a wood fired oven. The crust is very good and the two pizzas we got, vegetarian and pepperoni, had plenty of tasty toppings. Nice selection of beers too.

04/10/2026: A very friendly welcome. We arrived a little late without a reservation, they had just closed the kitchen, but we were still able to enjoy their delicious pizzas and tiramisu. Highly recommended.

03/10/2026: We went to this restaurant for a business lunch. The young, shady-faced waiter was very professional and attentive. He met our expectations and even created a mocktail for those who can't drink sparkling wine. His thoughtfulness and attentiveness are so rare these days. The food was good and the terrace had a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

18/09/2026: As a lover of Italian cuisine and good pizza, I can easily say that La Tosca is one of the best places in Tours. The staff is incredibly attentive, the terrace is lovely, and the menu is very well-crafted. Special mention for the pistachio pizza ;) We'll be back!

09/09/2026: Stumbled across this place while cycling to Lac de Montriond. Tuesday night was their last BYO Bbq 🍖 so we grabbed some meat from the shop next door and chef cooked our food perfectly. You could help yourself to bread, coleslaw, potato salad and condiments. We had a fab evening and met some great people. ✌️

La marmotte d’or is a truly special spot, the interior is cozy and welcoming and the sprawling terrace has gorgeous views of the mountains; the sunsets here are stunning! The food is very well-portioned and reasonably priced with some good vegetarian and vegan options. There’s a good variety of drinks: beers, wines, cocktails and mocktails. The bar regularly hosts events and concerts so it’s a great place to spend a fun evening. The staff is very friendly and all speak French and English. If you’re in or around Montriond it is truly worth the stop!
