26/02/2026: Hotel near the train station! Very nice! Clean and quiet! Welcoming staff! Very good breakfast (review posted in April 2025). We booked a 2-night stay on February 4, 2026 (stay from February 24 to 26). Three days before our arrival, the receptionist called to tell us that the hotel couldn't accommodate us because they were undergoing renovations... they wanted to relocate us to an Ibis Budget... logically, they were obligated to relocate us to an equivalent or superior hotel. That wasn't the case! The receptionist told us she would try to find another hotel... The day before our departure, a hotel in Perpignan called us to say they had a price quote... I didn't even want to hear about it. And thank goodness, because we stayed in a much nicer hotel.

28/12/2025: End-of-year meal for a hiking group. Simple but very good and hearty meal. Really good, don't hesitate to go inside; it's more inviting than the outside, hidden in the vegetation.

16/11/2025: A restaurant that's a bit of a trek, taking the little road that leads there, but it's worth it. Everything is excellent and homemade. The owner is very friendly. It's what you might call a hole-in-the-wall, but this is definitely a hole-in-the-wall. Go see for yourself; it's inexpensive and very generous portions, not to mention the magnificent view. 15/11/2025

16/02/2026: Today I went to the casino while waiting for my car at Citroën. The machine was very pleasant, the staff were very professional, helpful and smiling. I come from Collioure and I will definitely come back.

31/10/2025: Given the very negative reviews, I wouldn't go to this establishment. I went to check it out. And, the salad was okay. But... the owner is rushed and not suited to working with customers; cold, no smiles, inhospitable, he just takes your money and eats your salad.

15/02/2026: Reservation made a week ago for Valentine's Day. We arrived at Divil to find a queue of 23 people (who had also made reservations!) waiting to be seated. Nothing happened. No welcome, no drinks offered, and 30 minutes later, nothing had changed, so we left. What a lack of professionalism! Very disappointed.

15/02/2026: We had a lovely time. The setting is warm, the intimate atmosphere very pleasant, and the food is generally of high quality. The only thing that disappointed me was the selection of the aged meat. When choosing, I was presented with several cuts, and I ultimately received the one that appeared to be the oldest. Its color was noticeably grayer than the other pieces on display, which surprised me. Upon tasting, I also detected a slightly strong aroma and a faint aftertaste. I understand the management of the aging process, but when you pay €75 for a piece of meat, you expect impeccable quality. This made the experience a little frustrating, especially since other pieces on display looked truly excellent. Perhaps this particular cut should have been set aside or offered with more transparency. Nevertheless, it remains a good restaurant with a pleasant setting, and we had a lovely evening.

27/09/2025: We arrived on a Saturday evening without a reservation and he had a table for the two of us. We had lamb couscous and a tchatchouka, it was exceptional.

30/12/2025: Passing through Barcarès, we had lunch at La Cuisine des Filles; a wonderful experience. The welcome was incredibly warm and the food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert ☺️ We will gladly return.

Weak point: the dining room is small, so the tables are very close together, and access to the buffet is also cramped. On my second visit, I was a little disappointed by the cold dishes, the salad wasn't very well seasoned, and all the fried food was very poor and cold, plus the sweet potatoes were undercooked. 08/10/2025: A small establishment, but offering a selection of basic necessities and wine. On Friday evenings, pizzas are available to take away, but must be reserved in advance. They're all very good; we're not disappointed.
