13/05/2026: Nice spot for an afternoon drink... too bad about the atmosphere inside the toilet complex... it's just a toilet seat without a lid or seat... Guys... we're in the 21st century!!!

10/05/2026: Much less positive reviews, but we had a nice experience in early May. A lovely place to sit and enjoy the beautiful decor. We had tasty toasted bread with olive oil, anchovies, and paprika. Lovely in the spring sunshine. The toilet smells and is not very clean.

20/11/2025: I love this little spot right off the main road ;)), with a view of the harbor. Here you meet real people, it's not a tourist trap, no frills, just raw and authentic. I've been coming here for years to drink my coffee—or several—and the food, especially the tapas, is definitely worth the trip.

14/08/2026: I bought a salad on August 10th, with a best-before date of August 13th, the day of my purchase. When I went to eat it, the salad was in very poor condition (cooked) and inedible. I returned it after work. The saleswoman was surprised and couldn't give me a refund. In short, it seems that good quality products are no longer the case... I won't be going back. But everyone is free to do as they please... The bread and pastries seem to be of good quality. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR FEEDBACK: You suggested I come in late morning, but if I come in at 7:30 am and return at 5 pm, it means I'm working, so it's impossible for me to come during the day. However, I hope that despite the best-before dates, you will check the condition of your products before putting them on sale.

09/08/2026: I don't know if there's been a change of ownership or something, but last year it was much better in terms of the sandwiches and meals sold... for example, last year I used to get a tuna bagnat, and it was already in a box and very generously filled; now it's small, served in a paper wrapper, and only half full.

15/08/2026: As regulars of the old L'Original and even La Boîte à Youyou, we were extremely disappointed. The pizza was very sparsely topped, and the ingredients looked truly mediocre. We didn't even finish it. Keep walking; you won't miss a thing.

13/03/2026: We waited about 20 minutes on the terrace without our order being taken. The waitress probably forgot about us, which can happen. So I went to the bar to ask if we could order directly, but unfortunately, the reception wasn't very friendly. We left without ordering anything.

11/03/2026: We come to Les Angles on holiday and we come 3 to 4 times a week. The staff are very welcoming and always smiling; every time we come, it's a real pleasure from aperitif to dessert.

10/04/2026: A really nice bar in a cute little alley, great for stopping for a drink. That said, my cocktail (which was absolutely delicious, credit where credit is due) could have been even smaller, perhaps served in a shot glass or even a sewing machine, because for 13 euros, the pleasure shouldn't last too long… Anyway, go for the pints!

23/06/2026: I think they're ripping us foreigners off. A glass of beer and a 25cl Nestea for €10 is outrageous. The solution... never going back and hoping people read the reviews. It's a shame it's in a busy area and people don't check reviews before buying a beer. But honestly, it's a complete rip-off.

03/04/2026: The reception was unfriendly. The waitress was very rude. The food (two salads, one with ham, the second without) cost 40 euros. Really mediocre, but above all very unfriendly due to the waitress.

28/03/2026: Unacceptable experience at Le Select restaurant. First visit at 2:30 pm: a woman at the entrance, cigarette in hand, introduced herself as “the owner” and curtly turned us away, saying the kitchen was closed. We returned the next day at 1 pm. This time, a man (the actual owner) greeted us properly and confirmed we could have lunch. We sat down… and that's when the absurdity began: after nearly an hour's wait, the same woman arrived and started arguing violently with the owner in front of the other customers. Then she came to us, cold and aggressive, to insist that we would only have salads, no fries, because, according to her, the kitchen was closed. No coherent explanation, no sense of service. Result: €40 for two plates of green salad (one of which contained a little pork), with no welcome, no service, and no respect. This person's behavior is simply outrageous: unpleasant, bossy, and completely unsuitable for the restaurant industry. She seems to decide everything that happens in the restaurant on her own, with complete disregard for the customer… and even the owner. It's especially unfortunate for the owner, who seems decent but clearly lets this person call the shots. Avoid this place while this situation continues.

22/07/2026: Only well-baked baguettes, and when you ask when you'll have golden ones, they tell you later and you feel like you're bothering them.

14/08/2026: I regularly shop at this store where the sales assistants are friendly and the atmosphere is generally pleasant. However, today I felt like I was walking into an oven, the heat inside was so intense. It's shameful to make people work in these conditions.

14/08/2026: As a regular customer, I appreciate the range of products offered, the professionalism of the sales team, and the store's accessibility thanks to the parking lot. However, during this prolonged heatwave, I am hesitant to enter the sales area because the window display's exposure to the sun, combined with the heat from the ovens, makes the atmosphere unbearable and particularly unpleasant. I wonder about the impact of such heat on hygiene, the preservation of ingredients and products, and working conditions.

25/04/2026: I have only good things to say; a friendly gentleman behind the counter who accepted and understood my French-English with a wink. A white wine with ice for €2.50 was perfectly reasonable. He even came back to my table to ask if everything was alright. I'm extremely satisfied.

21/06/2026: The waitress was unpleasant, forced us to pay while we were eating, and told us to leave if other people arrived simply because we ordered drinks but not food. She also refused to serve us ice. Not to mention the €4 iced tea.
