02/09/2024: A magical place to recharge your batteries with a very pleasant setting. The staff is remarkably friendly, very helpful without being mannered. Excellent products, quality, in sufficient quantity. And the dessert... what can I say... without a doubt it's probably the best I've ever eaten!!! You can go to this place for lunch with your eyes closed.

14/08/2024: Discovered this nice restaurant on the way back from France to Freiburg. Very nice courtyard with a great wall design, which serves as a stage background on Fridays for great singing and show performances. Real insider tip!!!!

06/08/2024: A particularly nice little restaurant. Louhans is typically the town that we pass through… So we stopped for lunch. A very short menu, which is an indicator with fresh products. A daily menu at €22 that I recommend. An extra smoothly service led by the chef’s wife. Elegantly presented dishes. A careful decoration.

08/09/2024: Very unpleasant welcome. No place for my electric mountain bike in sight in a discreet corner of the terrace which was not crowded at all (I didn't have a padlock), no discussion and two outright refusals. Here we tolerate the customer conditionally. So I went on my way with an empty stomach. And will never set foot there again. When you earn too well in life you quickly forget certain basic principles regarding the customer! On the other hand, in Messey sur Grosne at Le Bouledogue, a small pizzeria, it was completely the opposite. Super nice welcome despite the time being 1:45 p.m., room for my mountain bike and a comforting smile. Go see and take some grain, education is never over...

22/09/2024: Agréable bistrot de pays tenu par un jeune couple. Le menu propose des produits frais, très bien cuisinés. Une mention particulière pour la cuisson parfaite du saumon. Les assiettes sont dressées avec soin, le service est professionnel et rapide. Proposition de vins à tarif très abordable.

16/09/2024: Excellent restaurant. Une belle carte, une cuisine maison variée et soignée. Bien qu'il soit "bistrot de pays", il ne propose pas seulement des plats locaux. La salle de restaurant est agréable et l'accueil est souriant et attentif.

17/09/2024: A place that lives up to its name so well! Our only regret is that we live too far away, and have only been able to stay there 5 times in 25 years.... A very good restaurant, a gentle atmosphere, a small non-chlorinated outdoor swimming pool, a relaxation area/ garden where it is good to relax, a novel in one hand, a local drink in the other...

10/09/2024: We stayed in the hotel lodge and it was superb. Very beautiful, well appointed cottage, very modern, a fridge full of fruit, yogurt, extraordinary homemade jams, eggs, milk etc. A pleasant welcome. Excellent dinners at the “Joséphine à table” restaurant with generous portions (superb chicken in vin jaune and morels). We tried the breakfast and it was perfect, with very appreciable table service and excellent products, all homemade! We highly recommend this place.

20/09/2024: Nous y revenons avec grand plaisir au bout de 3 ans, rien a changé... toujours aussi bon surtout les tapas, ambiance musicale, très bel accueil, une adresse à conseiller pour un bon moment entre amis ou tête-à-tête.

09/09/2024: Regular customers for over 10 years, never disappointed. Except for the last two times this summer. (My Calabrese pizza has changed...it's not as good as before, the cold meats are of less good quality) The burgers too, the steak in particular is not what it used to be.. Decrease in the quality of the products used therefore, and the portions a little smaller. Is this due to the change of menu (I wonder if there was not a change of management to explain this....) I don't know? In any case, disappointed because Ponte Loco, our favorite restaurant in Mâcon, our sure bet, is no longer. We are going to retest it 3 times, just to give it another chance soon. I still want to say that our dishes were good, but less than before these last two visits.
