There are three different set menus, allowing everyone to choose, in addition to the à la carte menu. The work in the kitchen is often overlooked, but it deserves a special mention: the cuisine maintains typical local dishes while also showcasing excellent creativity in other dishes. Thank you for your hospitality. Visiting family, we will definitely return. In conclusion, I highly recommend this beautifully decorated establishment, which is neither overly or understated, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

22/05/2026: Chalon's newest fast food joint! The food is very good, but don't expect to have time to finish your aperitif, or even your starter or main course, before the next course is already being served. The excuse is that the kitchen needs to be cleared! Once you're served, don't expect a glance from the waitresses (who constantly look at you and laugh!) because they're in the kitchen celebrating the end of their shift! It's a shame because the food is good, but the service is truly what you'd expect from a fast-food joint!

25/06/2026: Super lovely hotel and restaurant. To go to the restaurant is highly recommended. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Also, would recommend to get the breakfast, which was very good with lots of variety. It is very difficult to find full breakfast restaurant opened in the morning, and the hotel breakfast is right on spot and right on time.

27/08/2026: We had a very pleasant lunch on the terrace, and we were allowed to bring our dog 🐕, which was a big plus for us. We chose the set menu (starter, main course, cheese or dessert), and everything was delicious and quite generous. The waitress was friendly and very professional. A great experience; we'll be back.

06/09/2026: An insult to ramen: completely tasteless. An egg was advertised, but it was nowhere to be seen. The portion of noodles was tiny, and the beef? I'm still looking for it… I waited 40 minutes for a "ramen" that was a ramen in name only.

22/08/2026: Discovering something by chance is always an adventure. This one was fantastic: a superb wine bar with Art Deco-inspired decor. A simple yet effective evening menu. For me, it was a discovery of Boursotun. I met a passionate winemaker who introduced me to two exceptional wines. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

17/08/2026: After a walk in the hills, we ended up on the terrace of A L'Auberge in La Tagnière. As a result, we had a wonderful Sunday afternoon. We hadn't made a reservation, but fortunately, we were allowed to sit down. The food was honest, beautiful, and very flavorful. The artisanal iced tea was delicious. We also liked the rosé. We had the set menu. At €29.50, it seemed expensive, but for that price, we had three courses that were particularly flavorful. The service was very friendly. Although there was a language barrier because I didn't know a few words in French, everything turned out fine in the end. I highly recommend dining here.

09/07/2026: Down-to-earth, honest cuisine away from the hustle and bustle. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the service is very warm and welcoming. If you're looking for uncomplicated, classic food in an authentic setting, this is the place for you. A very solid inn that we highly recommend! It's not "fine dining," but rather the kind of place where the postman and the policeman eat and celebrate their birthdays – and that's a compliment! ;)

16/07/2026: I tried this place for lunch today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The daily special was reasonably priced. I didn't try the regular menu. It was absolutely delicious, as was the dessert, a mango, coconut, and lemon cake 😋. I'll definitely be back 😊
