22/07/2026: Impeccable service, with smiles from beginning to end. The specialty was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant; the prices are more than reasonable.

20/02/2026: We dined there three times during the week with my parents and two daughters. The service was excellent, the menu offered a wide variety of choices, perfect for the whole family, and the food was really good. A special shout-out to Tom and Lucas 😉 Looking forward to coming back next year!

11/02/2026: The restaurant offers truly delicious food with generous portions that justify the price. However, the service leaves much to be desired. When you ask to take your leftovers home, you receive unpleasant looks. Furthermore, without any explanation, a simple plastic container is placed on the table for the leftovers, as if it were up to you to fend for yourself, without any help or consideration from the staff. This somewhat spoils the experience despite the quality of the meal.

06/07/2026: The worst restaurant I've visited in France. The waitress was incredibly unfriendly. She acted as if she didn't want to work or be a waitress. I waited an extremely long time for my food. Even guests who arrived after me were served before me. Either I was completely forgotten, or tourists aren't welcome here. The food is nothing special. So please avoid this restaurant and invest your money elsewhere. (I should mention that I'm often in France and love French food.) I've never eaten so badly in France, nor have I ever been treated so rudely as a tourist. The pasta from the daily special was hard. The dessert wasn't served at all, even though it was a set menu item and dessert was listed on the menu. I didn't pay for dessert, but I was very disappointed.

04/07/2026: We had a great evening watching a football match. The young, petite waitress was friendly and removed the price of the fries from the bill herself. The menu advertises homemade fries, but they're not; they're just generic frozen fries. I mentioned this to her when she asked us about our meal. Also, cocktails aren't their strong point, in my opinion. The value for money isn't the best around, but they don't try to hide it either. The beers are decent; we like them. It's a strategic and easily accessible location. They're always open, which makes it a lifesaver when many places in Bayonne are either full or already closed by 9 pm. I've known this place for 15 years with my friends, and it's often saved the day in a city that can feel deserted when you arrive off-season. Overall, I remain positive about this establishment: we always knew how to have fun there and that's what counts.

11/08/2026: Avoid at all costs! The daily special is a rip-off. It's not real cooking, just a poorly assembled, tiny portion for an exorbitant price. The rest of the menu is the same; perhaps that's why there were only three tables while the restaurant next door was packed? This policy is outrageous and damages the reputation of mountain restaurants in the summer.

09/04/2026: We went there in February and for me it felt more like a factory. We didn't enjoy it, preferring to return it less flashy.

26/04/2026: I really didn't enjoy the experience. The waiters and managers were particularly unpleasant, refusing, among other things, to offer me a glass of water with my coffee.

19/04/2026: A very pleasant restaurant, extremely friendly waiters and excellent food! We were also lucky enough to be seated upstairs with a view of the sunset and no one else around, I highly recommend it!

22/03/2026: We ate there twice, the pizza chef is excellent. We weren't planning on ordering pizza, but it was a very pleasant surprise! The desserts are good too. The self-service system isn't very welcoming, but frankly, we weren't disappointed with anything else. A very pleasant surprise.

14/03/2026: The La Bergerie mountain restaurant in Valfréjus boasts a lovely location, and the place itself is pleasant. It could be a truly fantastic spot for a break in the mountains. Unfortunately, the major drawback is clearly the service, especially at the bar. A particularly unpleasant young waitress, without a smile and unfriendly, made us feel like we were bothering her when ordering. The waiter, for his part, was impressively slow. The result: phenomenally long wait times at the bar, which completely ruined the experience. We especially get the feeling that they're taking advantage of being the only restaurant at this altitude, which means customers don't really have any alternatives. It's a shame, because with decent service, the place could be truly enjoyable. But as it stands, the welcome and service don't even deserve one star.

04/11/2025: Great time with the family, we were right to arrive early. The meal was perfectly fine, the desserts were nothing special.

01/11/2025: Stopped by several times for a coffee or a drink, small platters... alone, with family, or for a business meeting. After several years, I've concluded: a lot of turnover, very young servers, probably paid a pittance according to the pay scale, and the same managers rotating through the chain's establishments (you rarely see them in the dining room, not even during rush hour). In short, the recipe for toxic, cushy management that damages the city's reputation, and which should be replaced by people passionate about their work and who know how to run a business. And also, probably, they should pay them properly to avoid driving away their staff and discouraging young people from this wonderful profession. I recently remember a young woman, Lola, I think, who deserves to be a manager. Quick, professional, smiling, but stressed. You can feel the stress of the servers and the difficulties they face. People clearly come here for the setting, the proximity to the Parc Floral. It's magnificent. So it's justified on the bill, nothing shocking. BUT, the staff is underpaid and exploited. There are long delays between The moment we were seated, the moment our order was taken, and then we were served—even during quiet periods. But during rush hour, it's terrible. Every time, it saddened me to see the waitresses (and sometimes waiters) running around in all directions, left alone when people arrived in groups, without time to clear and clean the tables, constantly being called away. And with no colleagues coming to help, they had to deal with the discontent of customers who had the wrong people. I know I won't return to any of the Epikur group's establishments until the management changes. And I advise both locals and tourists against it. One of the few quality restaurants, L'Estrade, has closed; we won't find that same quality at La Rotonde, even though it has everything to be an exceptional establishment because of its location. A huge waste.

17/04/2026: Having used the automatic machine, we ordered two Savoyard pizzas, but received two Reine pizzas… Furthermore, the Savoyard pizzas we ordered were listed as containing potatoes, but unfortunately, we didn't see any. Nevertheless, the rest of the pizzas we ordered were enjoyable, and the morning baguettes were good.

08/04/2026: A very nice little bar and restaurant in the Aguile Grive area of Les Arcs. Very good pizzas.

08/08/2026: A very good experience. The savory buffet and the wok station were excellent. However, the sweet section left me a little disappointed, with desserts lacking in flavor.

04/08/2026: It's an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant. It's great that they stir-fry the ingredients for you once you bring them over.

02/01/2026: We stayed three nights at the Auberge de Savoie in Moûtiers with friends. The welcome was very good, and the staff were pleasant and smiling, which was much appreciated. However, our experience was severely marred by serious issues with comfort and cleanliness. From the moment we arrived, there was an extremely unpleasant sewer smell in the room. Air freshener plugs were already in place to mask the odor, but they were toilet air fresheners, which still left a persistent and very unpleasant smell. So much so that all our clothes left smelling of it, even those in our suitcases. The carpet in the room was in a deplorable state: numerous questionable stains, a very dirty appearance, to the point that we didn't dare walk barefoot or in socks. It clearly hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. The box spring was also stained (including with blood), which is unacceptable. Other negative points: • No safe in the room • The two single beds were not at the same height, and the mattresses were very worn • We had pushed the beds together to sleep as a couple, but housekeeping systematically separated them again • The trash was not emptied • The blankets were barely made, giving the impression of sloppy cleaning On the positive side, the bathroom was reasonably clean. In summary, despite a friendly welcome, the overall condition of the room and the lack of cleanliness do not meet the expectations one has for a multi-night stay. Significant improvements are needed regarding hygiene, room maintenance, and odor control.

12/06/2026: The staff are truly friendly, respectful, and hardworking. The workers and servers are very professional and welcoming; I have no complaints about them. However, I was surprised by the attitude of the restaurant manager/head chef, who sometimes speaks rudely to his employees in front of customers. This is unfortunate, as it creates a negative atmosphere and doesn't reflect the quality of work the team provides. I hope the employees will be treated with more respect in the future, as they deserve to be recognized for their excellent work.

17/06/2026: We had a great experience at this traditional Algerian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. If you’re looking for authentic Algerian cuisine, this is definitely a place worth trying.

10/06/2026: A very bad experience. My husband ate at this restaurant and subsequently developed severe food poisoning with serious symptoms. We are very disappointed and concerned about the hygiene conditions. We hope that checks will be carried out to prevent other customers from experiencing the same situation.
