23/08/2025: We had a great evening at Chez Marie. The food was excellent (special mentions for the burgers and homemade fries) and the waitress was really very pleasant. The rustic mountain setting was very friendly with little nooks so you don't eat on top of each other!! We highly recommend this charming little place 🫕⛰️

06/12/2025: The best pizzas in Aix-les-Bains; chef Didier uses a Neapolitan method and his pizzas are "out of this world." The restaurant's location is ideal, near the train station, for a pleasant meal with family or friends.

26/12/2025: Disappointed with the restaurant. We arrived 15 minutes early and received a very poor welcome. Barely a hello. They were finishing their meal and we had clearly disturbed them. If the restaurant doesn't open until 7:30 pm, then say so. Then we waited 25 minutes to be served, 40 minutes if you include the early arrival, even though we were the first customers. We ordered four fondues, but we were served the same amount as the table behind us where there were only two people... Well... Did we just catch them on a bad day? Are there regulars who get a kiss on the cheek and then everyone else? Unprofessional attitude. I do not recommend it.

01/01/2026: Impeccable! We walked in without a reservation, the daily specials were great, and the tarte tatin was delicious. The service was express (a little too fast for my taste), our aperitif lasted the whole meal, which is a shame as we would have liked a glass of red wine ;) Otherwise, the waitresses were very friendly. I recommend it, but I don't think they need to, as they're always busy. The owner is very nice.

04/09/2024: For lunch, fairly regularly, about once a week. It's essential to book before 10 a.m., otherwise it's full given the number of regulars who wouldn't give up their place for anything in the world. The recipes change every day, they are original, mixing French, oriental, sometimes Asian flavors. Above all, it's very good, all the cooking is homemade, the quantity is there, therefore nothing to say about the price. The chef is adorable, he bends over backwards to satisfy all requests, and does not hesitate to share his manufacturing secrets. A beautiful address.

14/12/2024: People with allergens welcome here! They have a detailed allergen list for each menu item (great for myself being gluten free). Very good tasty food, open late for service so we weren’t stuck without food after a late transfer! Very good service, reasonable price, so polite and very quick too. Will be coming back!

12/09/2024: We showed up not knowing what to expect. We were treated with kindness the very second we walked in. Everyone that works here is very nice, hospitable and wanting to help make you have a great stay. The rooms are clean and hallways are unique. The food in the restaurant is very good. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.

09/08/2025: A perfect lunch on the terrace at L'Ancolie under the August sun. Very attentive and caring welcome (the water bowl already ready for the dog ❤️), idyllic setting. Jeannette's cuisine is rooted in the terroir and good products, with touches of detail that hit the mark: a few strawberries in the cherry tomato salad for extra freshness, tarragon in the rabbit terrine. Unique menu, it's good to let yourself be carried away! A very pleasant wine list. And all at more than attractive prices considering all these qualities. Remember to book and take your time to savor this good moment.

04/12/2025: We had a wonderful time. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The dining rooms are pleasant. It's not crowded at all. The food is good, homemade, and reasonably priced. Parking is very easy in the large, free public car park 50 meters away. Well done to the whole team!
