07/06/2026: Delicious! I went back four times, ordering the raclette, fondue, steak tartare, and the Swiss cheese platter. The dishes arrived quickly and were all very tasty. They offered us digestifs each time, and I highly recommend the génépi and blueberry ice cream! Thank you to the manager for her very warm welcome.

03/05/2026: Lovely view, lovely terrace, friendly and efficient welcome and service, and the food was good. However, the portions were far too small for the price; a few fries in a ramekin. I left the restaurant after one main course and one dessert, still hungry, which isn't very normal...

01/03/2026: The setting was very pretty and welcoming, although the heating was a little low during our meal near the bay windows. The meal was excellent. The desserts were beautiful.

12/04/2026: Quite expensive. They fall short quite a bit in terms of efficiency and quality. They claim a high label, but the breakfast is rather simple; sometimes no yogurt is available... Maybe this is because it was the end of the season, but when charging such high prices, one should expect higher quality. The evening meals, however, were very well prepared. The staff comes across as stressed, which sometimes translates into unfriendliness.

06/04/2026: Our third visit to Chalet Hugo and already booked for next year. Thank you once again to Alex and the team for making our stay so magical. A big thank you to Mr Vito who went above and beyond to assist us in a time of need. I really cannot recommend the Hotel Carlina, the Chalet, its team and its location enough. 01/05/2026: The waiter got angry because we (a large group) left five minutes later than agreed. Before that, he tried to chase us away, and everything was a bit rushed and disorganized. Moreover, this gentleman took our dessert orders anyway, and it took 30 minutes before we received them. Then this guy got angry, kicked open the kitchen door, threw a glass on the floor (in the kitchen, of course), threw a raclette machine around, and pulled a plate away so quickly that a fork scraped against someone's arm. Idk the food was tasty though 🥹🥹

05/07/2025: We had a great time. The Swiss raclette was delicious and very flavorful, we loved it! A little light on the charcuterie, but you can add extra if you want. Excellent service, I highly recommend it.

06/06/2025: I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. My friends had a fondue that was divine, and three of us had a reblochonnade that had no flavor and left us extremely disappointed. So I'm sticking with an average rating of 3/5. Visited in February 2025.

11/05/2026: Amazing setting! Surrounded by trees clinging to the mountainside. Cosy blankets provided and a great range of hot and cold drinks, snacks and home-cooked meals. Love it!

14/05/2026: In La Plagne, we've made it a tradition to have lunch at Le Forperet after a morning of skiing. Their fondue is simply exceptional, made with impeccably fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this place.

29/04/2026: I've been a seasonal worker in Montalbert for two years. I invited my whole family to eat at this restaurant, a total of nine people. The food was decent, and the wine wasn't too bad. At the end of the meal, I went to the till to pay for everything and order nine shots of génépi, about €4 each. Once I'd paid the bill, Aurélien, the restaurant owner, came back with nine digestifs, almost double the price! I told him I'd ordered shots, and he replied that it was fine and that they were better as digestifs! Since I'm a seasonal worker and my partner worked there for a summer, I assumed the difference would have been covered, but that wasn't the case, especially on a €500 bill... Beyond the fact that I ended up with an extra charge, this really shows the restaurant's mentality, and especially that of the owner. I spoke to his team several times, hoping he'd have the courage to tell me and apologize, because I didn't want to badmouth him in front of his staff or customers. I can't even imagine what it must be like for tourists; it's theft and dishonesty.

12/06/2026: Beautiful bakery and pastry shop in the heart of the industrial area, opposite the ice rink... lovely storefront with a wide selection of breads and cakes... very busy, often a queue! But you won't be disappointed... everything is excellent!

10/06/2026: Pastram sandwich with a sweet pink sauce. Inedible. Undrinkable robusta coffee. Tasteless pastel de nata. Very good service.
