19/08/2026: Fantastic experience at La Chaumière! It's so nice to have a restaurant open in Val-Thorens out of season, especially one of such high quality. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming. A great place to eat, we'll definitely be back!

Everything was absolutely perfect: refined, delicate, and authentic cuisine, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each dish was a true delight! And a special mention for the little touch that particularly touched me: "Happy Birthday" was written on my plate 🥰 A lovely gesture that made the moment even more special. Honestly, I highly recommend it! You absolutely must go; it's so delicious, and the owners are lovely. A wonderful discovery and an excellent place to eat! ❤️

30/07/2026: A warm welcome and top-notch home-style cooking. The owner is incredibly attentive. I came specifically for the frogs' legs and was more than satisfied with the generous portion: almost 20 plump pieces, cooked to perfection, served on a warming platter with a light and delicious parsley sauce. A delicious and very hearty potato gratin accompanied the meal. A tip for lunch: this is the place for a quality meal.

09/09/2026: A place so charming you'll want to stay forever! Even though there's no accommodation! You'll want to stop for a meal or a drink, stroll through the permaculture garden, and perhaps indulge in a purchase from the shop... we'll definitely be back in winter to experience a different atmosphere. It's also the starting point for hiking trails, including the one leading to Lac du Lou...

It was a great find, and the pizzas were impeccable, both visually and in taste 🍕 Loyalty program: buy 12, get 1 free for those who regularly come to enjoy a pizza by the lake. The best part: ordering online and choosing your pick-up time without any platform or fees is brilliant! We'll be back as soon as we can!
