24/05/2026: Château de Creissels. Absolutely Loved It! Some places just have it all, and this is one of them. The hosts are genuinely welcoming, warm, attentive, the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve been coming here for years. The restaurant is something else. The chef really knows what they’re doing, and the view from the table makes the whole thing even better. We stayed way longer than planned, which says it all really. Breakfast was great too, nothing to complain about there. The hotel itself is a proper gem. Loads of character, comfortable, and with that kind of atmosphere you can’t really manufacture. It just feels like a special place. We will definitely return!

15/06/2026: We spent our holidays there for six years, one of my fondest holiday memories. A very welcoming family and excellent service. I loved having breakfast there. The setting and surroundings are superb; there's plenty to do: Lake Pareloup and the Aveyron region are wonderful. I have fond memories of the St. John's Day bonfires and the skittles game in the square—excellent! Greetings from Sète to you all.

25/08/2026: Exceptional!! We went there at 6:40 PM, drawn in by the mouthwatering aroma wafting from the place. The pizza chef was lovely; he welcomed us warmly and kindly. He waited while we made our choices: a whole pizza for my wife with Roquefort and ham, a half ham and cheese pizza for my little monster, and a whole carbonara pizza for me. He told us there would be a 30-minute wait, which gave us time to browse around. When we returned, his place was packed (which is great, it's a sign of quality). I paid for our pizzas, and he showed us the pizzas, which were magnificent and looked delicious—not just ours, but everyone else's too (next time I'll get the merguez one; it looks amazing!). The chef is always so kind; he chats while making the pizzas. It's really nice, as a tourist, to be treated as more than just people who come to spend money. We went home and tasted them because, even though they look beautiful, taste is still the most important thing. They were very, very good. The crust is thin, and the carbonara, Roquefort, and ham pizzas have real ingredients; the pieces are there, and you can taste them—it's not just a few stray bits of ham. We paid €27 for 2.5 pizzas, which is very reasonable. (€11 for two whole pizzas and €5 for a half) We didn't stay long, but we'll definitely be ordering more pizzas before we leave because all three of us really enjoyed the experience and the food!! Keep up the good work!!

30/08/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant in early August and it was a wonderful discovery. Everything was perfect, from the very warm welcome to the excellent meal. The servers and the manager were very kind and attentive, and the service was quick and highly professional. I recommend this place 200%! It has a beautiful view. Congratulations to all these young people!

30/08/2026: A superb discovery during our visit to the Aveyron region. A lovely setting by the lake, a young and dynamic team, helpful and responsive. The pizzas are delicious and served quickly. The bill was reasonable and very affordable. We will definitely return.

15/08/2026: Disappointment We were very disappointed with our experience at this cheese shop. The saleswoman was particularly unpleasant and unwelcoming. On several occasions, we felt she simply wanted us to leave. Before we had finished choosing our cheeses, she asked us to pay, which made us quite uncomfortable. When we asked for advice, the responses were very curt, and we received virtually no recommendations or explanations about the cheeses. In a cheese shop, one expects to be advised and to take the time to choose. We left with a very poor impression of the welcome and service. It's a shame, because the quality of the products was excellent, but that's not everything: the customer experience also matters.

18/08/2026: It was lovely to stop at this little café-restaurant! The small, shaded terrace is perfect for a refreshing drink. The homemade iced tea is really delicious and not too sweet! I highly recommend it! I didn't give the food any stars, but I'll be back and will rate it accordingly!

01/08/2026: I very rarely leave reviews, but I felt my experience deserved to be shared. Before even ordering, I told the waiter/manager that I have a severe intolerance to garlic and onions, which can cause significant digestive reactions. This isn't a dietary preference, but a genuine health condition. His first response was to tell me that "if I don't like garlic or onions, I shouldn't come to an Italian restaurant." I found this remark particularly inappropriate and disrespectful. I then asked if it was possible to remove the onions from a pasta dish with anchovies. After a quick trip to the kitchen, I was told it wasn't possible. I then wanted to order a burrata salad (salad, tomatoes, prosciutto, and burrata), but this was also refused, without any real explanation. In the end, I was given to understand that I could barely order anything from the menu, except for a piece of meat. Finally, I was served a very disappointing pasta dish: overcooked pasta with Parmesan cheese, raw grated carrots, and diced cucumber, all for €19. I would have found it perfectly reasonable if they had offered me, failing that, a simpler solution, like pasta with cherry tomatoes and Parmesan. I wasn't asking for a custom-made dish, just a minimal effort to find a solution. I can understand that a restaurant can't always adapt its recipes. However, I cannot accept either the tone used or the lack of consideration I received. A courteous response and a little goodwill would have completely changed my experience. I left feeling like I had been treated with contempt. It's an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone.

25/08/2026: What a delight from start to finish! From the warm welcome and helpful explanations to the magnificent rooms, and what can I say about the cuisine... It easily rivals some Michelin-starred restaurants, and not just one... A true pleasure from beginning to end, this fine, refined, and meticulously prepared cuisine... And the breakfast is equally impressive. Truly worth the trip considering the overall value for money. I almost forgot the lapis lazuli, the jacuzzi...

19/08/2026: Passing through Aveyron for the holidays, we love to be surprised and seek out new culinary experiences. Tonight, we enjoyed the tasting menu and I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything is there... the welcome, the taste, the finesse, art served on a plate. I was speechless at the creamy porcini mushroom soup with its bread ice cream and croissant chips... what audacity! Bravo and thank you again to Sonia for her kindness. Thank you to this wonderful team for delighting our taste buds with local products.
