07/07/2026: This is such a special place. The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, and her amazingly smart daughter adds even more charm to the experience. The wine selection is fantastic, the service is exceptional, and our visit left us with the best impression of the local culture and hospitality. A truly memorable spot!!!

I let my 13-year-old come here with his friends: in the evening he vomited his tacos: because you agree to serve adult portions to little kids: I WARN PARENTS DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS GO THERE ALONE, THEY WILL FORCE-FED THEM FOR THEIR PROFIT AT THE EXPENSE OF THE KIDS' HEALTH.

14/05/2026: I paid for a set menu order and when I got home the drinks weren't there. They forgot to take the payment and instead of putting the drinks in, they didn't include them.

19/10/2026: A very disappointing experience with Miss Cookie and its manager, who will recognize herself, especially on a human level. I sat down with my three children, two of whom are toddlers, at the tables located between Waffle and Miss Cookie, after buying Liège waffles at Waffle. The tables were completely empty. The manager of Miss Cookie nevertheless sent an employee to ask us to leave, claiming that the tables belonged to her establishment. I can understand that tables are reserved for a business's customers, but there's a way to do things. We have eaten at Miss Cookie several times before and would have been perfectly happy to return. Asking us to leave with three children, when there was no one else at the tables, seemed particularly unprofessional. The most regrettable thing is that there was no more room at Waffle for us to sit elsewhere. We therefore found ourselves in a frankly unpleasant situation, when a minimum of courtesy and understanding would have been enough to avoid it. This experience disappointed me most of all because of the lack of consideration and business acumen we received. Being a shopkeeper isn't just about selling products; it's also about welcoming people with a minimum of respect and common sense, especially when it's a family with young children, particularly if they are regular customers. Everyone will have their own opinion, but for me, this attitude definitely doesn't make me want to return.

11/07/2026: We spent two nights in this magnificent establishment. The building is charming and very comfortable. The owner is very friendly. The meals were excellent; congratulations to the chef. I highly recommend it.

11/06/2026: Fantastic small quaint hotel in prestigious wine village. Rooms are simple, but the bed is comfy, the water is hot and the hairdryer works! The restaurant is superb! Excellent food at affordable prices. Highly recommend.

12/10/2026: We ate well. The beef bourguignon was very tender with a flavorful and mild sauce. My wife enjoyed the chicken Gaston Gérard. We were able to sit outside, which was nice. The service was friendly.

17/10/2026: A lovely experience in Santenay! Beautifully presented food, delicious flavours and an excellent selection of Burgundy wines. The duck was fantastic, and the Santenay Premier Cru paired beautifully with it. A little gem for food and wine lovers!

27/09/2026: A major disappointment on the plate While the service and wine were acceptable, the kidneys served that evening were simply inedible. Poorly trimmed, badly cooked, and served with tagliatelle swimming in a greasy, tasteless sauce. I do not recommend this establishment, which is overrated for its cuisine. P.S.: The restrooms are in dire need of cleaning!

22/09/2026: The menus were relatively affordable for Beaune. We had a Caesar salad and beef tataki as starters. The salad was quite good, but it lacked that little something extra that would make it feel like a restaurant-quality Caesar salad. As for the tataki, it had a very strong sesame flavor and was quite spicy with wasabi in some places. It really made your nose tingle with some bites 😅 For our main courses, we opted for the braised beef cheek à la bourguignonne and the seared tuna. The cheek was good, although a bit too salty for my taste. The tuna wasn't showcased well enough; you could barely taste anything but the sesame. For our final course, we ordered the cheese course and the baked chocolate mousse with a scoop of sorbet. The cheese plate looked rather empty, given its small size for just three tiny pieces of cheese. I think the portion size was okay, but the presentation wasn't quite right. And I also appreciate a few accompaniments on a cheese plate: two or three grapes, a slice of marzipan, and some dried fruit... The chocolate mousse was delicious. A very interesting hot-cold contrast. For this restaurant, I think you should choose traditional dishes (well-prepared). The service was friendly, fun, and offered good advice on wine pairings.

11/07/2026: The food was good and the service very good. We just could have enjoyed it much more if the dining room had been air-conditioned and we hadn't been directed outside, especially with the current temperatures.

13/10/2026: We stumbled upon the recently opened Hôtel Les Chevreuils in Meursault and were immediately captivated by the quality of the place and the attention to detail. Inside, the atmosphere is youthful, relaxed, and welcoming, yet perfectly professional. We had the pleasure of touring the hotel and several rooms, all furnished with great taste, refinement, and meticulous attention to detail. Everything is thoughtfully designed, reflecting a commitment to quality and authenticity. We have wonderful memories of this delightful discovery and will gladly return on our next trip to Burgundy. An address we wholeheartedly recommend!
