04/07/2026: I ordered two milkshakes and was very disappointed. A milkshake isn't simply milk mixed with syrup or powder. The base of a real milkshake is ice cream, milk, and perhaps a flavoring (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, etc.), all blended until you get a thick and creamy texture. A quick reminder of the recipe: 2 to 3 scoops of ice cream About 20 cl of very cold milk A flavoring or a sauce if desired Blend, and it's ready. The product I was served was liquid, had no texture, and was nothing like a real milkshake. At this price, you have the right to expect the basics to be respected. I hope this review will prompt the owner to revise the recipe and improve the quality of what is served.

15/06/2026: On this day, June 15, 2026, opening at 7 a.m., a preparer—not even a baker—is outside and tells me the saleswoman isn't here!!!! 😂😂😂 Seriously, LOL, it all comes down to one saleswoman!!! Poor France, she might as well go sign on at the unemployment office!!!! Given the negative reviews, there needs to be a staff overhaul and a new manager found!!!! It's a SHAME, it's the first time I've ever seen anything like this

12/06/2026: Not at all customer-oriented, I asked for an economy option, she said no, she didn't have any left, so I asked her for a ham and Emmental sandwich without raw vegetables, she said no, it comes with them, so I said you can make me one without raw vegetables, she replied aggressively that no, I do not recommend you at all, not pleasant with customers, where I live they do it according to the customer's request.

02/07/2026: The owner is unpleasant, not a smile. I asked her for a shower, which she refused, claiming she had used disinfectant products. When I went to the restroom after ordering a shandy (€3.20), I noticed no smell of disinfectant. Frankly, she doesn't care about anyone... close your restaurant and retire!

28/05/2026: A so-called "truck stop" restaurant, but clearly not designed for drivers… The welcome was cold, not a smile in sight, and the buffet offered very little choice, mainly salads and almost no cold cuts to go with them. The dishes were served in small portions, and the food tasted more like mass-produced than homemade. And the worst part: it only opens at 6:30 a.m.… At that hour, most drivers are already on the road. A real truck stop opens earlier and thinks about the drivers. Frankly, there are much better options elsewhere. Avoid it.

16/06/2026: A very warm welcome awaits you at this bakery; you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The products are good and the service is quick. A major plus is the salesperson with the neck tattoo: incredibly friendly, smiling, and very nice. He immediately puts you at ease and takes the time to chat with customers. I'll definitely be back!

31/05/2026: The service was ridiculous. We waited an hour to be served, and not a single apology. The waiters spoke with a condescending air. We were kicked off the terrace for daring to drink water and a Coke from the nearby bar because we were incredibly thirsty in 30-degree heat. Even if I were dying of thirst, I would never go back.

28/05/2026: If you enjoy waiting at least 30 minutes for your order to be taken, 20 minutes for it to be brought to you, and on top of that being treated condescendingly by unpleasant waiters, run to the Comédie!

13/07/2026: Good evening, I wanted to share my order with you. It just arrived, and everything is completely overturned. The ice cream has pierced the packaging, and the order is inedible. The quality is very poor; the hot and cold items aren't separated. Everything leaves much to be desired.

05/07/2026: I went to the wrong McDonald's for a click and collect order... I barely realized my mistake before calling to let them know I'd be arriving later to pick up my two ice creams. The manager put them in the freezer for me without me even asking! It's not much, but it's important to mention when the service is great! Thank you so much!

25/05/2026: There's always something missing from drive-thru orders, and no apology is ever offered when we come to ask for what's missing and what we've already paid for! And to top it all off, you make it perfectly clear that we're bothering you! Is it really that hard to bag a burger, fries, a drink, and nuggets with sauce?? The young guy with glasses and shoulder-length blond hair, who was handing out orders at the counter around 8:10 PM, what would it have cost you to add the missing sauces to the order? Is it too much trouble to go get them from behind the counter?! You're incompetent and disrespectful!

17/05/2026: Not enough women's restrooms. The wait is too long. Far too many self-service kiosks compared to the number of people preparing the trays. The wait is very long on busy days.

09/07/2026: Brunch at the abbey: a beautiful day in a magnificent setting, a warm welcome, an excellent meal, and excellent desserts. We will be back.

05/07/2026: Beautiful setting with a wooded park, fountain, and free-roaming animals. Unique interior, well worth a visit. Welcoming and helpful staff. Generous and plentiful brunch.

10/06/2026: Friendly staff for a drink on the terrace overlooking the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. Very pleasant "Happy Hour"!

14/05/2026: Pizza JENNA Beaune Home Delivery Disaster! Over an hour instead of 30 minutes, plus they were missing my drink! I had to call twice to get it, and then waited another hour. The Mont Blanc Burger was very good. The Amigo Panini was missing kebab meat. Second attempt the next day. Unprofessional! I placed a takeaway order. When I got home, I realized one fry was missing? After complaining, I received my delivery 20 minutes later: a box of cold, barely edible fries.

The starter was mediocre, the main course passable, and the dessert was okay. Almost all the plates were damaged (broken or chipped corners). Avoid this place.

10/05/2026: Discovered by chance during a romantic trip to Burgundy. The service and welcome were excellent, the beef bourguignon and pork chop were exceptional, and the blueberry and apple crumble tartlet was to die for.

09/05/2026: The wait between the starter and the main course was far too long—40 minutes! We should have left, which we did right after the main course. We had chosen the Chicken Gaston Gérard, which was very bland and tasteless, with a very runny sauce and the vegetables barely lukewarm. It's a shame, as the poached egg in red wine sauce had been good. We were very, very disappointed. €92 for two aperitifs, one glass of wine, two poached eggs in red wine sauce, and two chicken dishes. I chose this place for a special occasion, because of the character of the walls and the village setting. We should have left when the wait became so long, ruining the experience. All we had to do was listen to the rather loud music. It's a shame there's such a staff shortage and that recruitment is difficult, according to the pleasant owner. Everything is there to make it a lovely place.
