The chef works with great precision and offers flavorful, local, and authentic cuisine. You can sense a genuine desire to return to essential values: slow-cooked, comforting, and reassuring dishes, which are highly sought after today.
The staff is attentive, discreet, and meticulous, making the experience even more enjoyable.
The establishment is impeccably clean, and the decor has been thoughtfully designed, respecting the spirit of this magnificent, historic building—dating back to the 18th century, the chef told me.
A place where you feel at ease and want to return.

26/08/2024: If you are a lover of good meat, do not hesitate as always the quality is present on the plate served with the service in short quality products the owners are very pleasant parking available (always practical) all for a very reasonable price which allows to have fun

And before that I was regional management of the four departments Côte d'or Saône and Loire Nièvre and Yonne in collective catering for the Accor group
I regulated these qualities of services differently
I will no longer suggest this restaurant to friends. Greetings

08/12/2024: Rich cuisine, a little heavy and above all an inedible partridge...the explanation given being just that it is a wild beast...suffice to say that the service is in the pay of the kitchen, all crowned by a bill it also very salty.

22/01/2026: The cashier was extremely rude and arrogant. I inquired about the availability of a wine, and she responded aggressively, calling me a "wine speculator." A traumatic experience.
16/11/2025: I passed through Beaune in August 2023. They had a great selection of wines at really good prices.
Sure, Burgundy wines aren't exactly cheap, but they're hard to find online, and certainly not cheaper.
The owner was a bit reserved, but very friendly nonetheless. She had a bit of a hard time with me, though, because I had, and still have, almost no idea about the countless wineries in Burgundy.

11/09/2024: Bar Hotel family restaurant in the countryside. Nice welcome. Granddaughter of the qualified boss who starts cooking alone in the kitchen, hence a menu that is not always respected. Not possible to order eggs meurettes to the disappointment of some customers on the terrace Prices of drinks and dishes slightly too high compared to the place. Room correct and clean. I would just recommend a change of shower head 🚿. I recommend

Arriving at 8:40 p.m. for a table for 2, we were poorly received and refused under the pretext that the chef only serves hotel customers... the restaurant room was empty and no sign indicated that the restaurant was not serving not.
The pretext was different, as was confirmed to us. We are a black and white couple 😵

26/09/2024: Decent bakery but it is not rare (or rather common...) for it to run out of baguette marie in the evening at 6 p.m. Quite painful when you see the flow of people passing through the bakery during this time slot (and therefore leaving empty-handed). I think I'll end up changing bakeries so I don't waste any more time spending there for nothing...
24/09/2024: I took 2 pieces of Brownies for my children's snack, and the pieces were burnt and had a really strong taste. I hadn't seen it from afar!
