19/12/2025: A €20 lunch menu with a choice of two starters, two main courses and/or cheese, and dessert. It's very, very good. Homemade fries, excellent beef, perfect deviled eggs... and impeccable service. I was pleasantly surprised!

28/09/2025: We had to wait a bit in the rush, but after that everything was perfect. The pulled pork is highly recommended, and the local IPA is also very tasty. And lovely in the sun.

22/05/2026: As a local resident, I can't stand this drive-thru! I've been stuck in the line several times, even when there's no one there at 5:30 PM! I'm done with McDonald's! The McDonald's in Beaune is terrible at this! Don't even think about using this drive-thru if you expect to be out in 15 minutes; allow at least 20 minutes, no matter the season. The worst part is that when you knock on the window, there's no response... so you have to knock HARD. Absolutely terrible.

22/05/2026: Click & Collect order: I went to the kiosk, scanned my card, and nothing happened. I had to walk around the store to find my assigned numbered spot. Once home, I noticed an error in my order; a €4.50 item was missing. The restaurant is unreachable by phone. I filed a complaint on the McDonald's website. Three weeks later, still no response. Great...

13/07/2026: Sorry, but I buy a mini sundae for €3 and get a sample, it's a bit of a rip-off lol (compared to €4 for the big one???)

12/07/2026: Avoid at all costs!! Incompetent and unpleasant employees, they forget items with every order, forcing you to drive back and forth, and there's not a single gesture of goodwill or apology. The manager is completely indifferent.

09/05/2026: A very bad experience on May 9, 2026. The two security guards were very nervous, aggressive, and rude from the start. The situation escalated until one of them slapped my friend, which is completely unacceptable for an establishment supposedly dedicated to ensuring the safety of its customers. There was no professionalism whatsoever, and no attempt to calmly manage the situation. We left shocked by this behavior.

16/05/2026: I've been waiting 20 minutes for a takeaway meal. The bag has been ready for 10 minutes, with an ice cream in it, but since there's only one cashier handling cash payments for groups while her colleagues watch, well, I'm still waiting! The organization needs improvement.

09/05/2026: McDonald's was empty on a public holiday, which isn't usual. Very clean. The outdoor bench and chairs creak a little, but otherwise, no complaints.

15/06/2026: Hello, Based on my experience, this is a bad place. I ordered a latte and an apple turnover, and there was a mosquito on the turnover. I asked for a replacement, but the cashier was angry. I understood that I had to eat it even with a mosquito.

13/06/2026: Absolutely outraged. I went to order 9 VEGGIE nuggets (clearly noted on my receipt) around 5 pm. After a 15-minute wait, my order arrived, and at first glance, it seemed normal. Imagine my surprise when I ate one nugget and it was definitely not veggie. So I pointed it out, and they confirmed they weren't and exchanged them. Not an apology, not a word, just a statement of fact. I honestly think they don't realize the impact of making someone who doesn't eat meat eat it. It's appalling, not a small mistake, and I feel terrible.

16/05/2026: We paid €35 ​​per person for a simple dish with more cream than meat, served with frozen fries, and a very basic dessert. A simple and expensive brasserie; even in Beaune, we would have liked a bit more quality on the plate.

09/07/2026: All the breads, especially the wholemeal bread, are far too overcooked (too dry) since it reopened. We don't know why. Even when ordering and specifying "can you make me a wholemeal loaf that isn't too cooked," when you arrive to pick up your order and find that your wholemeal bread is almost burnt?! I won't be going back. It's a shame because before it closed, the wholemeal bread was very soft and not overcooked. What a pity!

18/05/2026: I should clarify that this review has been modified; it originally praised this bakery. However, since its closure for health reasons several months ago, prices have increased while portions are smaller than before. Furthermore, I've twice found a hair trapped in pastries (after the shop reopened), and last year a large dead blue fly stuck to the bottom of a slice of fruit tart. Aside from that, I repeat, the products offered are very good and of high quality (excellent pastries, a good variety of breads, and the same goes for the sandwiches and quiches; there are also generous bags of day-old pastries sold for between €1.50 and €2.50), even if the management of this business seems rather poor (a swarm of wasps for at least one summer in all the display cases, and a previously very high staff turnover). In addition, the saleswoman is cold and unwelcoming. This is regrettable as I am a regular customer.

17/01/2026: Extremely dissatisfied!! We ordered a certain amount worth of food and ended up with a smirking waiter who forgot 5 items on our order... OUTRAGEOUS! Furthermore, on a previous order, due to an unfortunate oversight in not providing our loyalty card, we returned the next day to ask if it was possible to have the points credited back to our loyalty card with the receipt... and were told to get lost... Shameful!

16/01/2026: The restaurant is very well-maintained and clean, the service is more than adequate, and the food is excellent. The menus are very well prepared, unlike other establishments where everything leaves much to be desired. Here, you can see the effort of the staff, and you thank them. I recommend this establishment wholeheartedly.

28/06/2026: A very bad experience yesterday. It was 38°C that day, and a red heatwave warning was in effect. The authorities constantly remind us of the importance of staying hydrated during periods of intense heat. So, we simply asked a waitress at the bar for two glasses of water. Unfortunately, she was particularly unpleasant. We were polite, courteous, and respectful, but we received neither a smile nor any consideration in return. The waitress refused to give us two glasses of water, claiming that we absolutely had to buy something. I tried to calmly explain the situation to her, but her response was: "I don't care, you're not getting your water, you have to buy something." During this period of intense heat, I deeply regret this lack of humanity and empathy. This attitude ruined our experience. I am very disappointed. This is all the more regrettable as the setting of the establishment itself is very pleasant.

23/01/2026: I don't understand why the restaurant is temporarily closed. We used to go there regularly, and suddenly it's gone. We were big fans and really disappointed to find the restaurant closed for months.

24/09/2025: Disappointment. The buffet looked nice, but it tasted reheated; nothing was crispy in the fried food, not even the rice. The wok was fine. I know many products can be frozen, but you can have things that don't come out of a microwave. A year or two ago, it wasn't like this; it was good, fresh, and crispy, so we went without hesitation. Well, no thanks, we won't be going back anytime soon.

08/07/2026: Greeted by the sweet smell of stale cigarettes, I wanted to fill my cycling water bottles, darn it, dry! The manager kindly directed me to a water fountain in the village (drinkable or not?). He's right, it's better to save water at this time of year, especially for athletes in 30-degree heat and being polite!

08/07/2026: ⚠️ Fellow cyclists, avoid this place! ⚠️ We're definitely not their friends… Today, in 35-degree heat, despite our training in the heat, it turns out that water in our bottles isn't an inexhaustible resource. Approaching this restaurant, my colleague and I decided to refill our water bottles and get a soda, but it was a false alarm. We hadn't counted on the lack of empathy from the manager/waiter, who politely told us there was a tap 300 meters away (water, without guaranteeing it was drinkable), despite what this rather unfriendly individual had said. So, sir, if you see this message, thank you for the help 🖐🏼 and we'll get our soda from the fountain too. All this to say to my fellow cyclists: don't waste your time at this establishment, which clearly doesn't consider the professionals who will be much more cooperative just before and after this village. 👍
