21/04/2026: The restaurant was empty, but we waited 15 minutes for our order, even though they only had a coffee and a McMuffin. The waitress wasn't very friendly and sighed when she saw us come inside to eat. The tables and tiles were dirty. The music was much too loud.

16/04/2026: I ordered a Happy Meal with a toy, but when the manager brought me the order, there was no toy and it wasn't even in the Happy Meal packaging. It's great that a child's Happy Meal in a bag is like...

18/05/2026: McDonald's is filthy; the toilets smell of urine, the restaurant floor is covered in all kinds of trash, the fries arrive cold and unsalted, as do the nuggets, the drinks are served without ice, and the ice cream is supposedly out of stock at 9 PM. One out of every two self-service kiosks is out of order. McDonald's image is tarnished thanks to you; I will never set foot in a McDonald's again!

12/05/2026: Good fast food, the food was good and as ordered. I appreciate the reusable dishes.

17/01/2026: Extremely dissatisfied!! We ordered a certain amount worth of food and ended up with a smirking waiter who forgot 5 items on our order... OUTRAGEOUS! Furthermore, on a previous order, due to an unfortunate oversight in not providing our loyalty card, we returned the next day to ask if it was possible to have the points credited back to our loyalty card with the receipt... and were told to get lost... Shameful!

16/01/2026: The restaurant is very well-maintained and clean, the service is more than adequate, and the food is excellent. The menus are very well prepared, unlike other establishments where everything leaves much to be desired. Here, you can see the effort of the staff, and you thank them. I recommend this establishment wholeheartedly.

19/04/2026: Way too expensive for what it is

11/04/2026: I never leave one-star reviews. I typically just won't leave a review, since I don't like to impact a small business. However, this experience was so poor, I feel I must warn other tourists. There were only two or three servers for the entire indoor and outdoor area. We checked in at the front, and were not welcomed at all, but a server took us to a table and then left. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I flagged down a server and we attempted to place an order for drinks and our food. We were reprimanded by the server for ordering drinks before food. When we tired to make a change to a pizza on the menu the server (or maybe the owner?) actually yelled at my wife. We thought maybe our English was the problem, so another customer at a table next to us tried to help by speaking in French, and the server became even more indignant. Ultimately, we felt so ignored and unwelcome, we decided to get up and walk away. We are unsure how we offended the server so badly, but the restaurant is clearly understaffed and perhaps the waiters are under a lot of pressure. There are many other great choices in Beaune. I would avoid this location.

12/05/2026: I came in expecting a large coffee, and I was served a huge cutlet with a tiny amount of coffee inside... That's not what a large coffee is. A large coffee is an espresso with hot water added to increase the volume without adding more caffeine... Selling is fine, but being trained in the restaurant and service industry is better... Absolutely terrible!!!

11/05/2026: Cold fries, a glacial, unwelcoming atmosphere, the cashier spoke coldly, the service was slow, and the ice cream was runny—it's absurd.

23/01/2026: I don't understand why the restaurant is temporarily closed. We used to go there regularly, and suddenly it's gone. We were big fans and really disappointed to find the restaurant closed for months.

24/09/2025: Disappointment. Nice buffet, but it tasted reheated. Nothing crispy in the fried food, even the rice. The wok was perfect. I know a lot of products can be frozen, but you can get things that don't come out of a microwave. A year or two ago, it wasn't the same. It was good, fresh, and crispy, so we went there with our eyes closed. Well, no thanks, we're not going back anytime soon.

09/01/2026: Excellent hotel and outstanding regional cuisine! Le Marmagne is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing and pleasant experience. The restaurant is a real highlight — exceptional regional cuisine, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Every dish was delicious and clearly made with great care. Highly recommended for both accommodation and dining.

06/01/2026: Not friendly at all. We did indeed book for one night. Unfortunately, there was a snowstorm on January 6th in Charente-Maritime, with impassable roads. We cancelled the reservation after having already paid approximately €46.00. I think we were in a situation of force majeure... We were refused a refund (easy to make money that way. It's perfectly legal.) I should add that we were coming from Charente-Maritime for a death in the family. There's absolutely no friendliness at this establishment.

22/01/2026: The cashier was extremely rude and arrogant. I inquired about the availability of a particular wine, and she responded aggressively, calling me a "wine speculator." A traumatic experience.

16/11/2025: I passed through Beaune in August 2023. They had a great selection of wines at really good prices. Sure, Burgundy wines aren't exactly cheap, but they're hard to find online, and certainly not cheaper. The owner was a bit reserved, but very friendly nonetheless. She had a bit of a hard time with me, though, because I had, and still have, almost no idea about the countless wineries in Burgundy.

04/05/2026: I bought a Caesar salad today and was very disappointed because the lettuce wasn't green; some of the leaves were black! It's a shame I'm too far away to return it... it's outrageous!

12/04/2026: Good evening. I feel that the quality of the products has declined significantly, and I'm a loyal customer of your establishment, with the exception of the croissant. This is exactly the same comment I was going to make about the chicken sandwich, which was too dry, empty, and completely tasteless. The only positive thing I experienced this past Friday, April 10th, between 2:00 and 2:30 PM, was the friendliness of the saleswoman (a woman of a certain age, wearing glasses). She was remarkably kind and attentive, even though she was overwhelmed, serving countless customers on her own. Her extraordinary professionalism, a rare quality these days, was evident in her attentiveness and helpful advice; I felt as if she were working independently. I was disappointed not to find my usual lemon tart (though in Paris I assumed all the stores offered the same items). This saleswoman was there to suggest other products with great tact and without being pushy, which I greatly appreciated. This lady was remarkably patient, given her exemplary behavior with a customer who refused to have his coffee served in a glass instead of a cup (apparently according to restaurant protocol). She remained extremely professional (I don't know what I would have done to that customer in her place, haha). Well done, Madam! I would like to ask you to train your younger colleagues, explaining to them one of the very important secrets to a successful business (of course, only part of it, because for me, customer service is paramount). I will certainly return just for this lady's kindness and the delicious croissant, but not for anything else, I'm sorry to say. Thank you for choosing this particular saleswoman. 👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
