19/12/2025: I highly recommend this place, the meals are good, inexpensive, and of good quality, the service is fast, and the staff is very helpful!

16/04/2026: Four of us had the 3 course evening menu. They also had an a la carte.menu. There is a big outside terrace but we sat inside at the back of the restaurant as it was not warm enough to sit out. We chose a variety of different dishes betweenus. To begin we were given some amuse-bouche, olives, meat, a miniature asparagus soup. Delicious. There was a selection of starters, mains and deserts. Everything tasted lovely and was very well presented. The staff were friendly and service was good. We had a lovely bottle of Bergerac white wine to accompany which was 24€. I wish we had a restaurant like this near home. There was plenty of space when we went but sometimes you would need to book.

10/04/2026: A lovely terrace and a friendly welcome. However, a major disappointment with the food... the duck breast was tough and the duck confit was more like roast duck 👎🏻 The price of wine by the glass 🍷 is particularly expensive (8/9 euros) for the wines offered.

14/05/2026: Excellent from start to finish. We decided to spend the weekend there for three days, from Friday, May 8th to Sunday, May 10th. Pleasant setting, delicious food, comfortable rooms, welcoming and attentive staff. I have absolutely no complaints about this stay; I highly recommend it!

03/11/2025: Fantastic! During our stay in the Dordogne, we discovered this place with its takeaway food, from chicken to moussaka and rougail – we thoroughly enjoyed it! And the prices are reasonable.

06/05/2026: Excellent restaurant serving delicious traditional dishes prepared in an open kitchen using fresh ingredients. A friendly waitress, and the interior is beautifully decorated with tableware from local artisans.

14/05/2026: I went through the drive-thru and ordered a Caesar salad. They didn't even put it on the menu. I asked for a bottle of water, and they told me they didn't carry them, they only served glasses. I said okay, and when I paid, I saw they'd charged me €2.70 for a large glass of water (they didn't even ask what size I wanted). There wasn't even any dressing for my salad; I had to eat it without. There were no utensils, and on top of that, no napkins.

04/03/2026: What a lovely place for lunch! The owner, Marie, is so kind. The value for money is legendary. This was my first time in Nontron, and I'll definitely be back to this place where they truly respect their customers.

01/05/2026: We had a nice starter and main. Dessert was tasteless. Overall ok food, but small portions, the main was even smaller than the starter. Service was nice but very slow. Very overpriced for what it is at almost EUR 40 per person for two small courses and a glass of wine.

01/05/2026: The food is good but not great, and the portions are not generous so you’ll find better value in most places around Bergerac. The service was very slow. We might have picked an unlucky evening. Based on all the reviews I expected something very different. 31€ for a 2 course menu, 37€ for 3 courses.
