21/02/2026: Staff comment: "Customers come to admire the view, not to see fishermen." That says it all. I've been to L'Atrégo several times: it's okay, nothing special. While on the nearby rocks, the staff asked us to leave, claiming they were private property and under the authority of the port and harbor master's office. These statements are inaccurate: the rocks outside the harbor basin are not under their jurisdiction, and the coastline remains accessible to the public. There is indeed a fishing ban in this area, which I was unaware of at the time. A simple explanation would have sufficed. Instead: threats to call the police. Reminder of the rules: normal. Contempt: unacceptable. For a wooden beach bar perched on the rocks in Cap d'Ail, it's taking itself a bit too seriously. I won't be going back.

20/02/2026: A Friday night at this restaurant: delicious cocktails, a wonderfully tasty octopus dish, lovely desserts, impeccable service, and a super pleasant atmosphere with lively yet discreet guitar and cajon music. A fantastic evening. And all for a reasonable price considering the quality. Plus, if you park in the paid parking lot, they give you free parking.

23/11/2025: Lunch and dinner set menu with main course, dessert, and drink for €21.90 – excellent value for money and very tasty. I'll definitely be back.

10/09/2025: Very cozy, right on the beach. The service was excellent, very relaxed, and friendly. The food was good and delicious.

06/09/2025: Beautiful, quiet beach, but a subtle rip-off on the mattress prices. Price displayed at €15. I came in September, no one on the beach. I sat on the front row When I left, the mattress price on the bill was €25. I pointed this out without insisting, but this unpleasant surprise won't make me go back. So be careful.

09/03/2026: This hotel, created from a former monastery, enjoys a fantastic view of the harbor and the sea. The rooms are new, reasonably sized, and quiet. There's a restaurant/bar on the ground floor where you can also enjoy a buffet breakfast. During the spring and summer, you can also dine on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful view. The friendly staff speaks Italian (the woman who greeted us at reception was Italian). Parking in the courtyard is very convenient.

09/03/2026: Great hotel in an excellent location. Rooms with sea views, breakfast was very good, staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and there was parking on site. We enjoyed our stay very, very much and will definitely book this hotel again.

27/02/2026: A pleasant surprise that turned into a wonderful discovery... the concept... a concert at the bar, you order... you enjoy... they come and get you, and then you go back for more... it's best to book in advance, but everyone is so friendly that it's a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it.

26/09/2025: Hello, we discovered this restaurant during our September vacation and went there three times. When it's good, you might as well go back. Excellent cuisine, almost everything is homemade. Bravo to the chef, he delighted us. Thank you to the two waitresses and the owner for their expertise, their smiles, and their kindness. A restaurant where you feel good. It's really nice to meet such generous and professional people. We will be back.

11/01/2026: A fantastic welcome in winter and one of the best Irish coffees I've had in a long time. The three generously portioned and delicious layers, and a good quality, generously portioned whisky. Probably one of the best on this coast for under €10!!! ...plus, a genuine happy hour in this very friendly little bar, without any unnecessary frills or fuss. Friendly and authentic! Have a great time.

15/02/2026: A warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff are excellent. The shrimp soup was decent, but the beef brisket was quite bad; I couldn't eat it. They have a half-liter bottle of wine, which was good.

01/02/2026: The restaurant is lovely. The service impeccable. But I was extremely disappointed with my dish. The parmigiana was excellent. The chuck steak was very disappointing; it tasted like a ball of ground beef for tartare. And neither the mashed potatoes nor the sauce managed to redeem it. The desserts were good. I probably made a poor choice of dish. But overall, I found the value for money unsatisfactory. Even the drinks—the wine list is very expensive. The portions, however, are generous.
