03/05/2026: We came to the Auberge des Gorges du Loup after booking lunch with a Wonderbox voucher. A special menu was available for the voucher with several options. It was excellent, and we had a wonderful time. The homemade bitter orange wine was superb. The staff were very kind, efficient, and attentive. Nothing but positive things to say, so well done and thank you! JPS

20/07/2026: A restaurant in the heart of old Cannes. Located on Rue St. Antoine, surrounded by beautiful and atmospheric restaurants, it's a truly spectacular setting, incomparable to any other street in Croatia or Italy. It has a film-inspired atmosphere, exclusive, sophisticated, unstylized, and yet relaxed. The service is friendly, the food is delicious—all in all, I give it a 10/10.

08/07/2026: The main courses were disappointing. The shrimp wontons as an appetizer were delicious, but the fish as a main course was incredibly ordinary and slightly fishy. The truffle fresco had no truffle flavor whatsoever! If you're a truffle lover, you're unlikely to accept this pasta. The banana cake for dessert was good, and the grilled crepe was creative and interesting.

The setting, decorated in a shabby chic style, is welcoming, relaxing, and pleasantly romantic, ideal for spending a few hours in a serene atmosphere. The staff is always courteous, helpful, and attentive to the needs of their guests, with a discretion that helps make the experience even more enjoyable.

30/07/2026: A huge disappointment. The meat was far too overcooked, and the tuna tataki was uninteresting. The service was amateurish, with an interminable wait between courses, especially 30 to 45 minutes for dessert. Once it was finally served, we were almost immediately asked to pay the bill because service was ending. A very clumsy approach that made us feel like we were being bothered. Absolutely not up to the prestige of the Negresco. A very pretentious restaurant, typical of the French Riviera, where you're mainly paying for the image. Avoid this place: you'll eat better, receive better service, and pay less elsewhere.

07/07/2026: I first came in September and everything was great. I came back on a Sunday in January and it was really not great. I put it down to there being a birthday party downstairs and that you were perhaps a bit overwhelmed. I came back this Monday and ordered a Caesar salad which should have had garlic croutons (they must have been forgotten) and a duck breast which should have been served with a virgin sauce, which must also have been forgotten.

05/08/2026: We only gave two stars because it was hot and we were able to get a drink. When the owner took our order, she didn't say a word. We honestly thought she was mute, but then she started making sounds! When we asked if she could take our payment, the waitress just looked at us and left. We went to pay in front of a waitress who didn't smile at all. 8 euros for an Orangina and a half-pint of beer without a smile is far too expensive.

04/08/2026: For years I drove past the village, ignoring it. Then I visited it and discovered the inn. The food is good, like it used to be. Suspended in time. Keep it a secret.

12/08/2026: It's a real pleasure to rediscover this setting, this cuisine and this welcome 20 years later... get off the beaten track and go for a visit to La Brouette.

06/08/2026: It's a shame the owner doesn't answer the phone or bother to call back after leaving a message to reserve a table six days later... I had fond memories of the place, hence my 3-star rating; otherwise, I would have given it a 1.
