15/02/2026: A lovely terrace sheltered from the rain and wind overlooking the old port with a view of the boats. Professional service, very friendly owner. My mother is in a wheelchair and I didn't feel any annoyance, unlike at other bars in the port.

13/03/2026: I just celebrated my 50th birthday at this restaurant about ten days ago. I had a truly memorable evening, and that's undoubtedly thanks in part to them. Everything was managed perfectly from beginning to end. When we arrived to help set up the decorations, the tables were beautifully laid and arranged exactly as planned. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves throughout, starting with the aperitif, which was very varied and generous, featuring local specialties, and the cocktail was delicious. The main course prepared for the occasion (ravioli with beef stew) was succulent! And finally, the cake we chose, a strawberry cake, was absolutely delicious! All my friends and family were unanimous: the meal was delicious. Cathy, Steven, and the cook (I unfortunately can't remember her name) were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and Cathy gave us excellent advice during the party planning beforehand. In short, go for it without hesitation!

06/03/2026: Excellent as usual! The homemade chocolate mousse was absolutely delicious!! Everything is homemade, everything is fresh, everything is perfect. The staff is also very friendly. As a non-smoker, it's a shame the dining room isn't non-smoking.

17/03/2026: We hired Mr. Jamais to create a tiered cake for our son's 20th birthday. He created a true masterpiece, as beautiful as it was delicious. All the guests were delighted. It was absolutely divine. The service at the pastry shop was excellent. Mr. Jamais is a very kind person. He was attentive, welcoming, and offered great advice. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend this establishment.

05/03/2026: The bouillabaisse was extremely disappointing 😱. It was tasteless, the portion was small, and the rouille was bland. The hostess didn't even seem to understand our dissatisfaction. No wonder we were the only customers. Avoid this place.

21/12/2025: The setting is lovely, right in Cannes' most prestigious area. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the terrace is clean and attractive. Prices are comparable to other restaurants on the Croisette. I highly recommend it!

10/11/2025: The setting is beautiful and pleasant, with quality and genuine service. The fish of the day was fresh and well-seasoned, with a flavorful aioli. However, several elements seemed poorly executed: the sea bass fillet (à la carte, €26) was overcooked and dry, as was the mashed potato, which tasted like it had been reheated. The Grand Marnier crêpe, presented on a slate as a specialty, arrived already soaked without being flambéed and lacked freshness, with a non-homemade caramel. The overall impression was one of rushed execution, which is inconsistent with the price point and the restaurant's location next to the Carlton in Cannes (a demanding environment). Why not focus solely on daily specials to avoid unnecessary complexity in the kitchen?

24/03/2026: The crepe was sparsely filled with dry edges; I don't think it was very fresh. The owner was not very attentive to the customers, more preoccupied with looking around.

01/05/2026: A truly awful experience, and I mean it. A few days ago, I made a reservation for six people at L’Épi Beach restaurant, requesting a table at 2:00 PM. I then received a confirmation email for 2:30 PM—nothing wrong so far. The manager called to confirm, and I took the opportunity to ask if it would be possible to arrive at 2:00 PM. She replied clearly: “Of course, it’s even better.” So we arrived at 2:00 PM. And there, without even a greeting, a middle-aged blonde woman greeted us in an extremely unpleasant manner with: “Is this a reservation for six? Well, you’re late.” I calmly explained that no, we were actually early compared to the confirmed time. She curtly told me to wait, that she didn’t have any space, and then disappeared. The manager then arrived, visibly overwhelmed and stressed, and asked me if it was for the beach or the restaurant. I told her we were going to the restaurant, specifying that we were planning to go to the beach afterward. And then, in a condescending tone: "Oh no! If you go to the restaurant, there's no access to the sea." This information had never been mentioned before. I explained that I hadn't known this and that in neighboring establishments like Yolo or La Jetée, the policy was different. And then, the same blonde woman had the nerve to reply: "You should have gone to Yolo." A completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and disrespectful response. Shocked by such a lack of business sense and courtesy, I immediately left. Unfortunately, Yolo was full, so we went to La Jetée, right next door, where the welcome was, in contrast, warm and professional—the complete opposite. Frankly, given the level of service and the staff's attitude, the owner has good reason to be worried. I won't be going back.

16/03/2026: A tea room not to be missed for a truly delightful treat. Viennese coffee with milk! A delight. The staff are lovely, and Annie, one of the owners, goes out of her way to make you happy. Highly recommended.

20/02/2026: I didn't enjoy my meal at all, as the dish made both my partner and me sick! I think the owner was intrusive, constantly asking for feedback every three minutes, which made it impossible for us to enjoy our meal! The toilets were extremely dirty! We thought we were going to have a relaxing weekend, but instead, we had a terrible one. I definitely don't recommend it! Despite everything, thank you to the waitress.
