11/10/2025: We’ve been here twice a week, and every time it’s an absolutely perfect dinner! The chef clearly knows what he’s doing — everything is cooked with love and passion. The tartare, beef, and gnocchi are simply outstanding. You can really feel the quality and care in every dish. The atmosphere is warm and homey. The chef, who is also the owner, creates a truly special experience. One of our favorite places — highly recommended

01/08/2026: We came for lunch with our motorcycle gear. A very warm welcome, top-notch biker service! Space to store our gear. A delicious socca, A huge salad!! Thank you for the welcome! Great!

23/07/2026: We had no luck with the food. The homemade chicken cordon bleu was best forgotten, and the calzone pizza was undercooked and bland. Two positive points, though: the service and the homemade fries.

25/07/2026: This establishment is well-located in Old Cannet, but absolutely avoid it. We were a group of six friends hoping to have a good time. The service was deplorable, with enormous waits for both drinks and charcuterie boards. The excuse given was that the owner was in the kitchen and couldn't keep up with the pace... (a shame for a "restaurant professional"...) Luckily, a young, enthusiastic seasonal worker was there to serve us admirably, unlike all the other jaded and unwelcoming waiters. They even tried to charge us €68 for bottles of wine instead of €44. Nice try, but even if it might work on tourists, it's still highway robbery. In short, if you're looking for a good place to eat in Old Cannet, forget about L'Atelier Joseph.

08/08/2026: This restaurant was by far one of my most enjoyable experiences in France as a tourist! Despite it being 40 minutes before the restaurant closed, we were still welcomed with a warm smile and a pleasant atmosphere. Because we don’t speak French, the owner let us know that the menu had English descriptions. As for the food, it was phenomenal! They tasted extremely authentic and fresh, which impressed us all. In addition, the bread was baguette-styled and warm. Most of the restaurants in France take an unnecessary amount of time preparing the food, but this place ensured we received it pronto. I was honestly greatly surprised at the satisfying service, as France is known to have mediocre costumer assistance. Furthermore, the ambiance was lovely as well and the owner didn’t push us to hurry anything up even as the time dragged on well over their closing time. The price was around 23 euros for each person and because our party was of four, the total price came up to be 93 euros. Even as we finished, she let us off with the same welcoming smile and friendly presence. Thank you Le Table for making our France experience even better!

02/08/2026: We have dined here several times over the years and it’s just as good as ever. This time we had prawns and the most gorgeous rice and chicken with a beautiful sauce. Both were cooked perfectly. Good wine also at a reasonable price.

15/05/2026: I'm a regular at this place, and I've never had a bad experience. The servers are great, the service is generally fast even when it's busy, and the atmosphere on special evenings is fantastic. But to my surprise today, I came to eat at 4 pm, and the restaurant was empty. There were only acquaintances or friends of the staff/owner. The meal was served quickly, but no one came to ask if we were alright. They walked right past us several times. I ordered dessert, and the people around us were being served while we waited. Finally, after 30 minutes, someone came to ask if we had received our desserts. I love this restaurant, and I can't give it a bad rating, but after all, that's what Google reviews are for, and I really think it's a shame to prioritize acquaintances over real customers who pay for their meals.

30/07/2026: A very disappointing experience. We waited 10 minutes at the restaurant entrance while the terrace was still empty, and the servers were chatting amongst themselves. Furthermore, there was no greeting of "hello," "thank you," or "goodbye" from any of them. The ceviche was practically a fruit salad—no more than four pieces of fish! The shrimp wok (three defrosted shrimp cooked without oil, salt, or pepper) was dry, and the only flavor was a musty taste from the bean sprouts, which were black with mold. Obviously, the dish was inedible. There were no apologies from the servers, no discount on the dish, not even a complimentary coffee, and the limoncello was just lemon water, charged at full price. We were completely satisfied last year. This establishment has hit rock bottom. I absolutely do not recommend it.

30/07/2026: We came for lunch yesterday, it was excellent, the portions were very generous. The produce came from their own farm, it was fresh and high quality. I highly recommend this restaurant ❤️

23/07/2026: Very disappointed with the owner. Following our phone conversation, she told us she was handling the decorations. This was our first time dining there (wedding reception) after positive reviews. Disappointed that the table wasn't decorated. The food wasn't great. We mentioned the lack of decorations, and her response was, "You're not 20 people, and I don't know you as a regular customer." I won't be back... Best of luck.

18/07/2026: Friendly welcome and cheerful, humorous service! Shaded terrace, excellent cuisine, and beautifully presented dishes. Next to a restored olive oil mill and the Auribeau candlemaker. Highly recommended!

25/07/2026: The food was good. The stuff seamed very stressed although not understaffed. Generally, we had a feeling of an over priced fast food restaurant, and that we were expected to leave immediately after we finished. The street musician made a good atmosphere.

23/07/2026: We had a fantastic time!! No wait for our table or our food! Fast service! The price is very reasonable for the quality of the meal; you can tell it's homemade. We had mussels and fries, and a Caesar salad—amazing, nothing to complain about, except perhaps the salad dressing was a little strong. We also had cocktails and dessert, which was a bit less elaborate, to be honest… The servers were very pleasant, chatty, and funny!!

01/08/2026: We dined indoors due to the scorching heat. We opted for frogs (dish of the day) and mixed fried fish, both delicious. The St Marcelin dessert was excellent. €80 for two for an aperitif, main course, dessert, and two glasses of wine.

29/07/2026: This is our second time coming to this place in 5 days!! Absolutely delicious. Everything from their cakes, croissants, all kinds of Pastries, and my favourite the apple crumble!! The line to order is always very long but so worth the wait.
