21/09/2024: The entire staff was fabulous. All staff were engaging and helpful. The boss sat and did nothing. This was the best food that we’ve had in Nice. Incredible place - come visit. The only negative element was the boss himself.

31/08/2024: A regular visitor for over 20 years, this beach is my haven of peace. I come there to recharge my batteries and enjoy a relaxing day. I love this beach, their pan bagna and the simplicity of the place. Very very reasonable prices, family welcome and zen atmosphere. Thanks to Christine and her dad for making this place a simple and friendly island. An unconditional fan. Thanks to the whole team 🙏❤️

24/08/2024: On vacation in the South, we spent several days at the Plage des Sports, where we had reserved mattresses. We also had lunch at the restaurant. Despite a frantic race and a rush, the waiters always served us quickly. The employees are always smiling and kind. The servers are joking and friendly. La Plage des Sports creates a real family atmosphere and takes care of its regular customers. The lifeguard is also very nice and fun. Regarding the food, it is good and offers good value for money. However, we were a little disappointed with the scallop salad. The fish and beef tartars are excellent. The fish are very well cooked and the daily specials are varied. As for the mattresses, they are starting to age, but remain comfortable. In addition, this beach employs beach attendants who are very attentive and caring. With their waterside meals and drinks, the day at the beach is very pleasant. The only negative point we noticed is inside. The facilities are starting to age, especially the toilets and shower.

29/08/2024: 20 minutes pour ne serait-ce qu’avoir la carte après de multiples sollicitations. Les repas étaient basique au possible, c’est clairement du réchauffer. Après le plat on a attendu 30 mins la carte des desserts. On a finis par partir parce qu’on ne comptaient pas y dormir dans le restaurant. Bref, la gestion est clairement à revoir.

24/09/2024: We came here on a weekday at 1pm after reading the good reviews - we actually ran here because we had no reservations and we were afraid it will be full (We were already turned away by a few places). When we arrived, we saw the place was empty. We should have taken this as a clue and just turn around to leave but we were too nice and decided to sit down. The food was... well I will let you look at the photo and decide. We remained the only diners there until the end. 4 tourists walked in, who spoke the same language as us. I saw them looking at their phone and saying "yes this is the place". Poor folks must have been misled by the good reviews as well. A part of me wanted to tell them to leave but they say that misery loves company. To make up for this, I am compelled to leave this review despite knowing I will be getting a death threat from the owner.

15/01/2026: Florida Beach is a bit of a place where locals test their tans and their balance on pebbles simultaneously. A pleasant and peaceful beach, ideal for swimming, strolling, or simply lying down with a sea view without having to negotiate every inch of sand with a crowd of tourists. In terms of practicality, access is easy and the facilities are basic: showers, a few benches, and parasols to share as if it were some kind of mini-Olympics of patience. The prices are ridiculously low for a public beach, so enjoyment is guaranteed at minimal cost—provided you like walking on pebbles. In short: a tranquil beach, perfect for relaxing, enjoying the sea, and practicing the subtle sport of "pebble jogging"—your ankles will thank you… or not.

06/10/2025: Unfortunately, the beach in Nice has no sand, only large pebbles. I had imagined it would be nicer, but that's certainly a matter of taste...

01/09/2024: DISAPPOINTING AND TOXIC! I waited for more than an hour before serving, I'm STARVING! The man sitting behind me broke the glass, and the merchant didn't come to clean it, which almost caused me to be stabbed by the glass. Mistake the bill when checking out. Too many….

21/09/2024: The seafood sharing plate is extremely filling, and the noodles under it fully absorb the soup, making people want to eat it! . The service is very friendly and the fish dishes seem to have room for improvement!

12/01/2025: Fisherman's pot: 2 mussels, 1 scallop and 2 small pieces of flavorless fish!! Gratin dauphinois which gives the impression of a Metro dish and without taste Lamb chops ditto without taste, Makes you wonder how the cook cooks (in the microwave!!!)

03/01/2025: Nice place, nice service… but… tasteless food… We took a fisherman's pot (2 mussels, 1 scallop and 2 very small pieces of fish) without flavor and light portion. The fish soup base and rust were okay. And a dish of lamb chops and dauphinois gratin: flavorless meat and neither tasty nor creamy gratin resembling a Metro dish… 25cl pitcher of chardonnay which doesn't look like chardonnay. 2 decent coffees with very good little bugne. Addition 65€. We preferred to have dessert elsewhere. We were disappointed.

17/12/2024: I stayed here in July of 2024 for only one night. I emailed the hotel letting them know I would arrive at midnight and they responded promptly, letting me know they would be there to accommodate me. I had a monthly airbnb for over 6 weeks so I only needed a place for a night. The airbnb ended up being a total nightmare and I had to move to another place but I always went to Mas de Vence to work as I was traveling and working on a different time zone. The family was amazing and so was the staff. They expected me everyday and never charged me for the wifi usage although I was no longer staying at the hotel. They served me water while I took my meetings without me asking and told me I could use the pool free of charge. This family and even the guests are just so kind and caring, it was a breath of fresh air. Merci et Merci encore pour votre hospitalité. Je suis la dame de Californie qui parle l'italian aussi. Desolé pour ce review tardive.

09/12/2024: A little outdated but a lovely place and always great food

24/09/2024: Very very disappointed with this restaurant which had a good reputation. I don’t really question the quality of the dishes (and even so…) but it’s the quantity on the plates! We come out hungry after an aperitif, a starter and a main course! The service is just passable, 45 minutes of waiting between a starter and a main course. And for the price paid, the smile would not have cost me more! Go on your way! I will give you better addresses on rue Bonaparte!

21/09/2024: Good evening, We went there as two couples in the evening. The men were drooling over the 600 g of Châteaubriant à la carte and hoping to have a feast but had a nervous laugh when they saw the meat arrived (you should probably have your kitchen scales checked^^); we were not far from 600 g... and dare I mention the 6 small rigatoni (placed very delicately by the waiter that said) which fought a duel? The sole for 2 for the women was hardly more plentiful… Overall, however, it was very good but we were particularly disappointed by the small portions and the absolutely ridiculous prorated price: €300 for 4 with 4 aperitifs, 2 starters, 4 main courses and 2 desserts… without being full at the end :- / Friendly atmosphere and good service. It was previously one of our favorite addresses in Nice but we really became disillusioned, it’s a shame!

09/07/2025: The fish and chips and shrimp tempura were excellent. The coffee exceeded expectations. The service staff were always smiling and attentive!

15/12/2024: At 8 p.m., already no more starters, rare meat requested served very cooked, the choice of vegetables and starchy foods catastrophic! All this is not worth the increase in prices! Too bad it was so much better before.

25/11/2024: Winter on Cannes. We were the only customers in the restaurant. So I can’t rate the atmosphere. Service was good and the food even better. Nice wine too.

22/11/2024: Pleasant setting near the fireplace. Excellent meat. On the other hand, thank you for letting the customer choose their dish quietly.
