04/12/2024: Ordinary cuisine, lacking in flavor. Dirty noisy. High price for value for money. Soft at 4E minimum. Tiramisu missing and coffee, and 100% dark chocolate on top: biscuits not soaked enough, mascarpone of some sort, not sweet enough nor creamy enough, sort of Nesquik sprinkled in a hurry. Dish in the same image, not very tasty. We can't say that it's really bad, nor that it's really good. It's expensive and very very average.

31/03/2024: My mum and I are customers of the tea room since day 1 and we used to love this place. Unfortunately 3rd unpleasant experience in a row: waiter is completely rude and poor customer service. We won’t support this local company place anymore! A shame for Villefranche notoriety! 30/03/2024: Best hotel experience we've had to date, fantastic view, friendly and professional staff who do everything to ensure you have a simple and nice stay. Perhaps the flowers in the breakfast restaurant need to be changed a little more often, but this is in the petty department.

27/08/2024: Quick meal at the chauffeurs' brasserie. Decent dishes and efficient service. Too bad the fries are frozen. A fairly classic and standard brasserie, therefore practical for a lunch in the neighborhood.

18/09/2024: We chanced upon La Taverne Provençale when we decided, on the spur of the moment, to visit the hilltop village of Gourdon. The spacious terrace, with its stunning views down to the coast, was already fairly full but, despite our lack of reservation, we were warmly welcomed, a table swiftly found for us and two apéritifs arrived with the comprehensive menu, including daily specials. The food was simply excellent, particularly my own farandole of traditional stuffed vegetables. Our wonderful waiter, Grégoire, took great care of us and indulged me in my efforts to practice my rusty French. Desserts were also absolutely delicious. We feel extremely lucky to have bagged a lunch at this justly popular spot and will definitely return, this time with a reservation, the next time we are in this beautiful area. Very highly recommended!

24/09/2024: Great food. The risotto blew my mind. The prefix menu is an excellent choice. Probably one of the best meals we had in Nice (if not the best). The staff is super friendly and attentive.

23/09/2024: The quality of the dishes is not consistent with the prices. Overcooked fish and one with lots of bones. We kindly noted that there were a lot of bones, it can happen that you miss them, but the waitress's response was really inappropriate: "it's fish, it goes with it." The young waiter, on the other hand, was very friendly, the real positive point. Response to your comment: A well-prepared fish in a good restaurant shouldn't have that much. As I said, sometimes things go wrong. On the other hand, the responses provided by the person, who may also be you yourself, were inappropriate. Especially when you say things kindly. A simple “sorry” would not have generated such dissatisfaction or any kind of our since your restaurant deserved neither positive nor negative points to be noted despite the quality of the dishes. It's a shame to waste fish by overcooking it, especially if it's fresh, because you can't tell the quality. So I keep the price too high for the quality. 25€ for an aioli, it should have been good. And the fish of the day should have been cooked better because it was not worth the price either given the quantity, the cooking and the preparation error with lots of bones. The worst part remains, of course, the dismissive response that was given.

17/09/2024: The service was a bit of a let down due to a large table being served before us despite arriving after us. This caused long delays for us before service. Otherwise the food was good. The servers were polite and helpful.

14/09/2024: Really good service very attentive. Food really well done and I can really recommend the burger. It was also very filling. We had booked loungers (50 euros per lounger) but you also get a towel, which I find very practical. In addition, you have a lot of space. The service takes great care of you and asks questions regularly.

11/09/2024: Good and quick service at the loungers, lunch in the restaurant was delicious and Miriam was very helpful and courteous on the phone and in the restaurant, and the rest of the team were also friendly and professional without exception.

15/08/2024: With my family we went to this restaurant located in the center of Eze French Riviera in a outdoor table and we took one pizza margherita to share then as mocktail one babayaga with creme passion creme de mangue citron juice of cranberry. The staff rudely ignored our requests and only at the end of our stay they became more polite and service very slow and expensive.
