The service is top-notch and the food is simply excellent. High-quality ingredients, well-prepared, and full of flavor. You can taste the passion behind it all. 13/02/2026: What a contrast between the venue and the restaurant! I had visited the St. Donat Golf Club and thought the place was magnificent. The restaurant looked inviting and made me want to go there for lunch. What a disappointment! The welcome and service were on par with a Flunch (a fast-food chain), the food was inedible, especially the linguine with porcini mushrooms! I won't even mention the desserts; we left without risking trying them.

31/05/2026: Great food, but the terrible service ruined our final night in France. The chefs here are incredibly talented. The beef with ravioli and the seafood in bisque sauce were fantastic. Sadly, the front of house staff ruined the hard work of the kitchen. We were ignored for 30 minutes after being seated, while tables who arrived after us ordered first. No focaccia is served while other tables got served once seated. After finally getting our food (which came out quickly), trying to pay took forever. Two different servers ignored our request for the bill, and my partner had to stand up at the table like a beacon just to get someone to take our money. A simple meal of just mains and drinks dragged on for 2.5 hours solely due to staff incompetency. Instead of a nice final stroll through Nice, we had to sprint to the train station. Brilliant kitchen, but the service is lacking and is an absolute joke.

20/05/2026: The coffee is so good here it has ruined coffee for me. Lovely little spot, nice view of the water. Quick and friendly service. The croissant and pain au chocolate are both good but I wouldn't say the best. However the coffee, service and location meant I kept coming back almost everyday of my trip. Also very reasonably priced.

21/04/2026: Since the new management took over, the staff have become incredibly rude. The cashier yelled at a customer right in front of us, so loudly that the whole room could hear. When I asked her not to shout around us (I was with a hard-of-hearing friend, and it was difficult to talk), the cashier ordered us to leave the establishment and go outside. (Why weren't we warned beforehand? And why weren't the chairs marked as unavailable? And if we couldn't sit inside, why didn't they tell us right away?) But that's not the worst of it. The cashier took a picture of us without our consent and talked about us loudly to other customers, insulting us and pointing at us without the slightest embarrassment. I had to call the police! I used to frequent this café, but this very narrow-minded cashier has definitely put me off going back. I hope my friends will do the same. If you value your reputation, think twice before setting foot in this cafe.

19/04/2026: A super cute patisserie, good value for money but the best part was the service: the girls who served us were very kind!

11/05/2026: For 2 minutes on the pool table, they charged extra. In principle, if the pool hall had been full, there wouldn't have been a problem; however, we were the only customers in the pool area, and then they complained because we divided the bill by the number of people in our party. This person was arrogant, and when I said I would leave a bad review because I was disappointed with their service, they gave me a threatening look. Absolutely no customer service skills; avoid them at all costs, especially since their place is practically empty. Poor guy, though.
