18/07/2024: My recent stay at The Eze Hermitage was a horrifying ordeal that should serve as a stark warning to anyone considering booking a stay there. The nightmare began with the absence of air conditioning in our room, which forced us to leave the balcony door of our second floor room slightly ajar for ventilation. This lack of comfort turned into a catastrophic lapse in security when an intruder managed to climb up onto our balcony and break into our room. We woke up to find the man crawling into our room and stealing $400 worth of our belongings. To add insult to injury, when we rushed downstairs for assistance, we discovered that the front desk was deserted and there was no night security, contrary to what the management had claimed. We were left to fend for ourselves in a distressing situation that could have easily been avoided with proper safety measures. Clearly, we found another hotel for the second night of our trip, as staying at The Eze Hermitage was no longer an option. Despite the severity of the incident, the inn demonstrated a shocking lack of accountability and customer service. After enduring a week of fruitless back-and-forth communications, they made a great show of their so-called "generosity" for not charging us for the second night we didn't stay and grudgingly offered only a partial refund for the one night, which does nothing to compensate for the trauma and financial loss we suffered. In summary, The Eze Hermitage is a prime example of negligence and poor hospitality. I strongly advise against staying here unless you want to risk your safety and well-being.

12/07/2024: I stopped for a coffee at the hotel bar, the Italian bartender did not want to make me a coffee even though he was serving coffees to 4 hotel guests. He told me to ask the lady at reception......who prepared it for me "very kindly"....with a smile....!!!

05/08/2024: Hôtel rénové avec goût. Literie impeccable. Professionnels de l Hôtel très agréable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avons de la famille sur mandelieu, nous reviendrons dans cet hôtel.

20/08/2024: Ce resto de burger frites fait maison avec un chef super sympa est vraiment top ! Une vraie pépite culinaire où on se régale et on se sent bien accueilli. Une adresse à retenir pour une expérience gourmande réussie !

10/08/2024: I absolutely do not recommend this all you can eat sushi restaurant. From the start, I was disappointed by the total lack of consideration for customers. No one was taking care of us, I had to get up several times to order. Regarding the food, it was simply inedible. There was very little choice, and options that should be included in the all-you-can-eat formula given the price, such as sashimi and beef-chicken skewers, are each charged at €5. The chicken skewers were raw, the gyozas seemed clearly frozen and reheated two days before, they were so elastic. Honestly shameful, I don't understand how they dare to serve this rubbish for 21€. The yakitoris were raw and therefore completely inedible, the portions ridiculously small, whether it was the bobun, the rice or even the green curry... Ashamed to serve dishes in this state! In short, an experience to forget. Move on, this restaurant is really not worth it.

16/09/2024: Like visiting a friend’s house for breakfast. The proprietor is the highlight…not to undersell the ambiance. We were offered several options, and ended up with a variety of delicious items. Highly recommend.

10/09/2024: A delightful and unique experience. A great change from the “sidewalk cafe” options elsewhere. Brilliantly prepared food from the kind and friendly proprietor. There are only a few choices at any time; he emphasizes thoughtfulness in each dish. The dishes are simple in concept but complex in their execution. Lovely.

09/08/2024: I happened upon the restaurant via the beach access and asked politely in French if I might sit for a drink - making it clear I wasn’t a resident and didn’t want dinner….I’m a fluent French speaker so communication wasn’t an issue here. I was greeted warmly by the restaurant accueil and shown to a lovely table. I was given the menu (including drinks). The menu looked so delicious I thought I might eat there too. I’m a solo traveller, fully accustomed to dining alone, and very confident having a drink in a bar or restaurant if not accompanied. I sat. And sat. And sat. I tried to get the waiter / waitress’s attention numerous times. Eyes down, focus on restaurant customers. It wasn’t that busy, but if they couldn’t have accommodated me, they need only have said. I decided it wasn’t worth me going to approach someone to ask to order a drink. I’ve been in fancier hotels and fully expect them to look after me, and not have to go chasing for a drink! I’m on holiday after all. If not, I’ll take my hard-earned pounds elsewhere! Disappointed. Came here from Le Lavandou where I had much better service in much simpler restaurants. I took my custom down the road and had a terrific meal and drinks. I got a nice photo of the sunset, anyway. Thank you for that!

03/08/2024: Het is een zee mooie locatie dicht gelegen bij de zee Het interieur binnen is bootstyle met een zeer mooi terras Mooi verzorgde tafel Het personeel is correct hoffelijk en vriendelijk Wij hadden een viergangenmenu genomen en het was subliem Mooi gepresenteeerd en ook verschillende tussenhapjes Een minpunt was wel dat de champagne niet koud genoeg was maar ik heb hierover niet willen vitten omdat de rest meer dan gewoon was Maar Onze ervaring met de valet van de parking was te onbeschoft om te benoemen en een gedrag dat totaal onacceptabel was Dit heeft het begin van het eten overschaduwd Wij hebben dit gedrag gemeld en buiten een beleefd excuses was dit afgehandeld Dit maakt een topgelegenheid totaal onacceptabel Heel spijtig

15/11/2024: Un super moment de détente! Dégustation de bons vins avec une plancha...de quoi passer un moment sympathique agrémenté de l'ambiance du chanteur musicien qui a bien su mettre l'ambiance!!! Je recommande à 200%

24/07/2024: Je suis venu avec un ami manger une pizza. Je vous déconseille fortement. Les pizzas son dégueulasses ! et encore je suis gentil tellement je n'ai pas les mots. Les Pizzas sentent mauvais, oublie de mettre la tomate malgré que ce soit indiqué sur la carte le serveur me dit que c'est normal. De plus mon ami et moi on a été malade toute la nuit !

29/08/2024: Pompous presentation of the dishes. No accompaniment with the fish. Total we pay a lot and we leave with the slab... as for the high score if.you don't.ask..a real invoice you have to be satisfied with the order taking ticket.. Some bullshit.
