30/06/2024: Quel plaisir rare de découvrir un restaurant aussi parfait en altitude ! L'Essentiel porte bien son nom, offrant une expérience culinaire véritablement exceptionnelle. 22/08/2024: The setting is really very nice, as are the staff. Decent cocktail, aperitif board too. But what a disappointment when we move on to the dish. We had a large party so had several dishes and none were acceptable. Between the Milanese escalope as hard as concrete, frozen fries that were also way overcooked, really poor hamburgers with overcooked steak even though we all asked for rare, and frozen frog legs just reheated which were bathed in the 'water. Frankly we need to review the cuisine which doesn't match the place at all and that's a shame! Positive point, they took our comments into account and reimbursed us for the dishes not consumed, it was the least they could do.

30/10/2024: I came to have a beer to relax a little when the waitress I asked for a dark beer in a bottle, she shook her head and told me no, they sold me a PIETRA in a tiny glass for 4 euros 50 per glass, a shame for the people. big brewery thief to avoid.

17/10/2024: For the day of the 17th it's the decatomb. I'm not happy at all and it's not the first time that this happens. The Thursday shift is zero. When we ask for the order, something is missing or don't have any. I never say anything but the camel's back is overflowing.

01/12/2024: One star is just for the increase in toilets at an incredible 0.60 ct!! With 0.50 it was practical and correct. And of course it goes without saying that it’s not the maintenance workers who see the color of this or who are paid more? No! It's just to grab a few more people and make some margin. Well done ! Go ahead 0.70 ct in 2025 continue. ....

27/09/2024: A very good restaurant in Cannes. If the menu shows bottled wines only, it is possible to order just one glass. Mineral water is available, although quite expensive. We understand that the intention is to sell mainly high value-added bottles. I recommend the linguine with clams.

07/09/2024: we were walking around Cannes, it started to rain, we found this cafe so as not to get wet and get sick. And horror!!!! An incomprehensible man began to drive us out. We were really ready to have dinner and drink wine! But this horrible waiter or administrator just yelled for them to leave. Cannes! Tourist city, center and such a bad attitude!!! we see this for the first time here! Therefore, we strongly do NOT recommend these uneducated people!!! Choose any other cafe, but not this one!! Respect for the client is NOT the principle of this establishment!!!!

19/09/2024: A fuir21€ 50 la viande avec les frites, on s’attendait à quelque chose de bien. La viande était toute petite sans goût, rempli de nerfs et les frites froide limite congelée.tres très déçu . Et le serveur nous demande si ça été et que mon fils lui répond non pas vraiment il lui pose même pas la question pourquoi ? 89€ pour 3 entrecotes frites et 2 sodas une honte .Et quand je vois que le propriétaire ne sait que répondre : Bonsoir, et merci pour votre commentaire. 27/08/2024: Good reception, the products such as meat or chicken are very good, the fries are excellent, a small downside on the garnish although fresh, not necessarily very qualitative. On the other hand the desserts are industrial and frozen we were not able to have what we wanted but an extra cookie was offered to us for the inconvenience Pretty quick service for us

27/08/2024: I stopped by today in the afternoon around 4 p.m., with my 2 children, the young blonde lady was super nice to my children, she is very welcoming, smiling, polite, even my son said to me “Mom The girl is nice, she made me a granita, like a grown-up, can I give her a kiss? » I told him that a simple “Thank you Madam was enough”. We had a snack on the terrace, it was very pleasant, I recommend and I would like to point out that the saleswoman was very pleasant, and during our snack, she did not stop working in this heat. She has courage, BRAVO! I would come back and recommend to my friends!

24/07/2024: We heard about this place and read about the large portions of quality food for a reasonable price. We were left extremely disappointed by this as the portion size for 23.50 euro each was in our opinion not sufficient, apparently it used to be 17 euro each and maybe then this would be acceptable but in our opinion it was a small meal and we got a full rotisserie chicken from the butcher on the way home to fill us up. You choose your meat and are then given a choice of a side dish, either mash potato, baked potato, salad or ratatouille. In our opinion for 23.50 euro per person you should be given a choice of one side of potato as well as one side of salad or ratatouille to provide more of an overall meal. We had the wine which was nice and the lady serving us was very friendly however we walked away feeling very unsatisfied with what we ate and what we paid from a restaurant we were very much looking forward to visiting.

18/07/2024: Nous avons apprécié la rapidité du service et la qualité du rôti de bœuf qui était d’une tendresse à vous caresser le palais. De plus, les accompagnements maisons sont un délice, nous vous recommandons les pommes de terres et la purée. Enfin, le patron et cuisinier de talent de cette adresse unique est très sympathique.

14/12/2024: Overall I enjoyed myself. On the other hand, serving "mac do" type fries with duck breast in a 50 euro menu is very average and contradictory to what Mougins does to highlight the gastronomy of our city. I should have asked for the grade because I had doubts about the final grade. And bringing water or offering water at the start of the meal would have been nice.

14/12/2024: I came 6 years ago and gave it 5 stars. I was delighted to go back this evening but what a disappointment. A guest wanted to have some stuffed ones but the waiter didn't tell us that he didn't make any and slipped it into the chance of a conversation. We had a very expensive, but good, bottle of wine. The starter was very good but then came a duck breast served with MACDONALD'S FRIES. Why not serve homemade puree like for our friend? The dessert was very good but the coffee was overpriced and the soda was also good. In addition, we have to beg for a carafe of water that is not automatically served. The meal could have been like 6 years ago but an exorbitant bill for Macdonald's fries without the waiter's smile.

17/09/2024: Chez Belliard, il y a des tartelettes délicieuses and phénoménales. It also has delicacies as a place to déjeuner. Today I just had a very good coffee. The staff was overwhelmed by the many customers, but still friendly.

16/11/2024: Lent très lent trop lent. Le serveur nous dit qu’il y a un peu d’attente. Nous demandons combien de temps. Un peu ! 1h d’attente ! Avec à peine 20 personnes à servir. Du grand n’importe quoi

24/08/2024: C'est toujours un bon moment de manger sur le port de Beaulieu un soir d'été. Le musicien d'hier soir, Philipe, a été le meilleur moment de ma soirée. Le Monsieur qui faisait le service est vraiment très sympa, convivial et fait de son mieux pour donner une bonne ambiance. Le service est extrêmement lent ! Je pense qu'i y a deux raisons : la terrasse n'étant remplie qu'à 30% un soir d'été ! Un client présent il faut le garder : pour qu'il attire du monde... L'autre raison c'est qu'il ne s'agit absolument pas de professionnel de la restauration. Les frites que vous voyez sur la belle photo ne sont pas du tout celles qui m'ont été servies ! Mon tartare était très bon (merci au chef cuisinier), le dessert tarte au poire immangeable ! Enfin, n'oubliez pas que l'habit ne fait pas le moine ! Cela s'appelle un piège à touristes. En plus j'ai eu un pseudo patron de l'établissement, Eric, qui s'est invité à ma table... Je ne parlerai pas de sa discutions et de ces propositions car elles étaient sordides !
