15/07/2026: We ate with five friends; they all received their meals, but I had to wait over an hour for a pasta dish, and when it was finally brought to me, the waiter Dimitri was disrespectful and took it away. The portions were ridiculously small. Shameful; I definitely do not recommend it.

15/07/2026: Unfortunately, both the service and the food were truly awful. We ordered the salmon, which was completely raw, and the potatoes as a side dish were tiny and had apparently been sitting in the pan for quite some time. Absolutely not recommended.

30/07/2026: Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The staff were not friendly, and our food was served with one plate stacked on top of another, crushing the meal underneath. The food was extremely greasy and tasted awful. This level of service is unacceptable for a restaurant. I would not recommend this place.

23/07/2026: An unusual place, but the tapas are tiny portions! My children were hungry when they left, and the prices are exorbitant considering the size of the dishes! €8 for a Coke! €14 for a cocktail that's the equivalent of a very small glass, and I'm still looking for the rum in it! I spent over €90 for one adult and two children, so you can imagine how much it stings when you leave on an empty stomach! To top it all off, a mouse was scampering around among us, which was frankly not pleasant at all!!!

22/07/2026: The food (octopus and tuna) and cocktails were excellent. We had three tapas and two cocktails, €65 total for two people. It's not cheap, but I challenge you to find better prices in Antibes. I've read negative reviews about the waiters not speaking English. We communicated in English without any problems, but I don't understand where these comments come from. The only thing I can say is that the table outside is a bit uncomfortable for eating.

18/07/2026: We had a great time at this magnificent rooftop bar which offers a splendid view of the Bay of Angels. The food was good, and the service was impeccable.

17/07/2026: Beautiful setting, but the Caesar salad really wasn't to my taste. The truffle pasta, on the other hand, was sensational!

09/04/2026: From the outside, you definitely wouldn't expect an Asian restaurant (new sushi). The staff is very attentive, but I'm not convinced by the food (except for the house cocktail, which is definitely worth a try!).

13/07/2026: We traveled over 750km to spend a wonderful time at L'Eveil des Sens... and the Chef's magic potion worked perfectly! 😜 It has to be said that Joël puts his heart and soul into everything he does, from his infused rums to the preparation of his dishes and the atmosphere he creates among his guests. It's always a pleasure to chat after the meal until the wee hours! Thank you, Joël, we'll be back, we promise!

22/06/2026: An extraordinary discovery! Refined dishes with fragrant and original flavors, and contrasting textures...the chef is an artist! What's more, he's full of humor and joie de vivre. A truly wonderful, convivial atmosphere!

26/05/2026: On May 26, 2026, in the afternoon, I was served by a very pleasant saleswoman, and what I bought was excellent. I will definitely come back.

03/07/2026: Delicious ice cream, a wide selection of flavors, and great service. Prices for one scoop range from 3€, 2-5€, and 3-7€.

05/06/2026: Delicious ice cream and a friendly server. I recommend trying the Provençal or Honey with Pecan ice cream.

24/06/2026: Great restaurant but now in summer 2026 so far (24 juin) this listing on maps continually shows that it is temporarily closed and when we walked by it looks closed. Owners should update status if it is open.

07/05/2026: Our favorite place in Villefranche. The service is outstanding, the staff is friendly and efficient. The food is delicious! We have been coming here for more than 15 years and have NEVER been disappointed.

30/05/2026: Rude and uninterested. We were seated, then told to wait 45 minutes so the staff and the owner could eat. They wouldn't even bring us coffee or a croissant. A complete tourist trap. We got up again. When we asked how things worked there, the answer was: "We're hungry and would like to eat." And that's what they say to a customer who goes to a restaurant because they're hungry.

16/05/2026: A very welcoming little restaurant, the owner is very friendly, the chef is fabulous, everything is homemade, nothing to complain about, I'll definitely be back.

21/11/2025: So I went there with my family during the summer holidays, and the service was really quick and good. However, a customer, probably a regular, was talking really loudly and was having a beer with the owner in peace and quiet, but we ignored it... My food arrived; I think I ordered a chicken salad, and THERE WAS AN INSECT! HELP!!!! Then I had two scoops of ice cream, and the price was a bit high for the quantity. Otherwise, the waitress was super pleasant and really kind.

07/10/2025: I really like this restaurant; its food is very good, with fresh, healthy, and very well-prepared ingredients. And its authentic French character makes it my favorite restaurant near the port of Antibes. I prefer to go there outside of busy days or hours, and I watch the veterans who meet there, chat amicably with the owner, and reminisce about their adventures at sea. It's not a Pagnol painting because we're in Antibes, but it's one of the rare living and authentic portraits of Antibes, daughter of the Mediterranean. And the food is good!

11/06/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant; the welcome was very warm and friendly. The food was delicious. We came as a family and were all pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the dishes we chose. 5 stars

31/07/2026: I came in today simply to buy something to take away. To my great surprise, my order was refused because my outfit wasn't "appropriate." I was wearing a simple summer top that showed my midriff, nothing more. It wasn't a swimsuit, nor was it indecent clothing, and my breasts were never visible. I've worn this outfit in many stores before without any problem. What's even more unacceptable is that the owner didn't even come to speak to me directly. Instead, he repeatedly asked his employee to tell me that she wouldn't serve me. I find this behavior particularly disrespectful. When you make such a decision, you stand by it and explain it to the customer yourself. I can understand that an establishment requires a minimum level of decency, but there's a difference between beachwear and a simple summer top, especially during a heatwave. Besides, I wasn't even planning on sitting down; I only wanted to place a takeaway order. I find this decision disproportionate and particularly disappointing. If the rules are this strict, it would be helpful to display them clearly at the entrance to prevent customers from making a wasted trip! A SHAME! This will undoubtedly generate bad publicity.

28/07/2026: Judging by the reviews I've seen, what I experienced today doesn't surprise me at all. The two saleswomen were very, very "pleasant"—obviously, that's sarcasm. If you want to work with customers, at least show a smile and a genuine desire to be friendly, even if it seems like they're forced to be there. They need to rethink how they speak to customers, especially with the haughty and superior air they adopt.

23/05/2026: We came to this restaurant hoping for a pleasant evening and unfortunately had a very shocking experience. While eating our appetizer, we noticed what strongly resembled mold and a moldy taste on the prosciutto. We calmly, discreetly, and respectfully pointed out the problem to the owner, without causing a scene or disturbing the other customers, simply hoping he would change the dish and we could move on. Instead, the owner began speaking to us aggressively, asserting that he was certain of his ingredients. He then called the chef, who spoke to us in the same tone. Despite this, we tried to remain polite and explain that we didn't want to offend anyone and that we were simply within our rights to request a change of dish when faced with a suspicious-looking item. The situation then escalated for no apparent reason: the owner spoke to us very rudely, removed our drinks from the table, and asked us to leave, saying he didn't want customers like us. We left extremely shocked and humiliated, even though we never raised our voices or disrespected anyone. Our evening was completely ruined. It's all the more disappointing because we were regular customers and used to come here to celebrate our important occasions. We will never set foot in this place again. I would have given it zero stars if I could.

21/05/2026: I stopped for a soda; there were four tourists on the terrace, but the waiter took 20 minutes to come and take my order... he was too busy telling his love stories about English women... more of a fish market than a relaxing place... the only good thing was the pretty view.

14/06/2026: Went for lunch and had an excellent experience. Although not fluent in French, the staff was attentive and talked in English to facilitate the process which was appreciated. The gnocchi’s one of the best I’ve had which was accompanied by a light salad. The other dishes we tried was the Risotto which was very good as well. Overall a great experience. We will try other dishes soon

29/05/2026: They treat foreigners/English speakers differently than the French. You don't get the same service and you pay more. The owner also stares at the women. It's disgusting.
