01/10/2025: 1 star because zero doesn't exist. Shame on the profession where some people don't count their hours. We were staying in Mandelieu-Lanapoule for a few days. On Sunday, we wanted to eat there and supposedly had a private menu. On Monday, there was a special menu that didn't suit us too much, so the owner himself gave us a business card so we could reserve the next day. To my great surprise, the restaurant was closed the next day. Honestly, he doesn't want customers. My advice: go to the other restaurants in Mandelieu-Lanapoule where the service and quality are excellent.

14/09/2025: Decent food, old-fashioned setting, not very optimistic boss.

04/12/2025: We ordered two cocktails. They were good, but very expensive. For food, we only ordered one dish, the lasagna. It was delicious. As for the service, we had to get up and tell a member of their team to come and take our order.

08/11/2025: A freshly squeezed lemon juice for 9 euros and a mini hot chocolate for 6 euros! A rip-off...Avoid it.

01/02/2026: I've never eaten so badly in my life. Nothing was right. The bread was defrosted and really not good, the waitress wasn't very pleasant, and the service was incredibly slow—2.5 hours for a table of six with two children who were bursting with impatience. The stew was served cold and greasy, with peppers in the sauce… how original… The overcooked, mass-produced ravioli arrived in a bowl still swimming in cooking water. I don't usually write these kinds of reviews, but avoid this place at all costs… And the dessert… the cherry on top: a raspberry tart with frozen raspberries that barely clung to the base. I took a picture of it exactly as it was served because I'd never seen anything like it before.

03/01/2026: We were welcomed in the late afternoon for a small hot chocolate by a very pleasant, friendly, and humorous lady. She also paid special attention to the small dog that was with us. It's a wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend.

10/03/2026: We went in for an aperitivo with a complimentary plate of drinks, as advertised on the menu. We were served our two glasses of spritz and prosecco... and then nothing! After complaining, the waitress, merely polite, informed us that they weren't serving any that day. Nice to be told after the fact. We then ordered two bruschetta, which were served with a smile by another waiter. We should have read the reviews before going in...

07/03/2026: Lady at the front was very rude because we didn’t speak French even though she knew English. When the food came she dropped it a bit hard on the table probably to be rude. The food was not good. Ordered the gnocchi pesto and spaghetti carbonara both not great. Ultimately upset with how we were treated from the beginning, should have left from the hosts first comment.

29/01/2026: We waited an hour and 45 minutes to receive two undercooked pizzas when we had asked for them well-cooked... a mistake in the order. Since we had to get back to work, we ate anyway. They offered us a third pizza; the one we had ordered, but it was just as undercooked as the other two. A nasty case of indigestion.

10/11/2025: I have never encountered a waitress (around sixty years old) as racist as the one in this restaurant, who made the kinds of remarks I overheard during my visit. I am very disappointed with the quality of service.

07/11/2025: The coffee is drinkable, but the so-called owner of this place is unbearable! Avoid it.

18/02/2026: We chose this restaurant by chance and received a very warm welcome! The food was delicious and the waiter very attentive. We will be back.

18/02/2026: In the heart of old city of Nice, a cosy restaurant with great cuisine. Fresh ingredients and generous portions. Congrats to the Chef. Excellent quality price Reservation is recommended

02/03/2026: Friendly welcome, slightly dated but pleasant dining room... Generous and tasty dishes. However, overpriced for such an establishment.

01/02/2026: Four of us called in here for hot drinks after a hike. We got a warm welcome, a table by the log fire and delicious chocolat chaud. The lemon meringue pie was good, too. The decor is a bit quirky but that's part of the charm of the place !

09/11/2025: Dinner for two in the evening. The cocktail was very strong, but enjoyable! The service was prompt, efficient, and attentive, and the food was excellent. The setting is truly magical. Compared to its neighbors, I would definitely stay at Helios! A tip for sun loungers: book a week in advance! This private beach is fantastic!!!

05/03/2026: Oh dear... what a shame to have such a beautiful location and not serve quality food! We were approached by a guy who was trying, unintentionally, to fill the restaurant; he was very kind and friendly. The waiter was also pleasant! But the food!!!!! Very, very, very disappointing! Considering the price... It was like a cafeteria... no style whatsoever! No flavor... unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're looking for quality cuisine.

08/10/2025: I do not recommend eating here, the food is of very poor quality and nothing is fresh, the price has nothing to do with the quality of the food.

02/09/2025: We ate lunch outside under the canopy. The decor was unique, the food was nothing special, but overall it was reasonably priced. The service was friendly and fairly quick.
