17/11/2025: I go there frequently for lunch. The menu is never boring, the food is always refined, and the service is friendly.

30/10/2025: Stopped in while waiting for bus to Eze - was the closest cafe to Vauban Station. Kind lady served us 2 cappuccino. Didn't eat, but menu looked good 😋.

11/07/2025: Quality welcome, attentive service and delicious dishes. A special mention for the manager Mickaël who is certainly no stranger to such quality of service.

10/07/2025: Terminal 1, upstairs. Le bar, restaurant closed?? Pre made and heated onsite. Horrible for 28eur/dish.

14/02/2026: Visiting for a weekend, we stopped at this brasserie which offered breakfast menus. We were not disappointed by either the quality or the quantity.

02/01/2026: We arrived for lunch around 11:45 am. Several customers were smoking on the terrace, which was closed. The waiter assured us it was allowed, which is against regulations for an enclosed space. The staff's subsequent responses were contradictory. In addition, the toilets were filthy, even the door was dirty. Given these conditions, we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. In short, it was impossible to eat at this establishment. It's a shame; a minimum of hygiene and respect for regulations would be necessary.

19/12/2025: All the hotels claim to be closed even though they're listed as open, and instead of providing shelter during a storm, they send us to the next hotel.

24/10/2025: Simply an iconic place with a wealth of history in rally racing, cycling, and trekking. A stunning area worth visiting, and a must-see stop here.

14/10/2025: This is my go to place for the season. I love the drinks and also the staff is sooo nice. I just love love this place.

21/02/2026: We regularly come to this brasserie for a drink, and the welcome is always warm and friendly. The location is fantastic, right by the sea; it's lovely on sunny days. We'll definitely keep coming back! 😀

11/02/2026: A fantastic restaurant, the service was incredibly pleasant, and the fries were... DELICIOUS!!! The team is responsive, dynamic, attentive, and very friendly. We come every Sunday with friends for our usual get-together over a drink, and we won't be changing our go-to spot anytime soon ✨ Thank you!

12/11/2025: The only café in France where you get a torrent of insults from the waitress. This woman's nervousness, spitefulness, vulgarity, and rudeness are astounding. As a resident of Villefranche, I like to stop by from time to time for a drink, alone or with friends. I don't go there very often, so they don't know me. Until now, I had always been well received, by a young man, a middle-aged gentleman, or a lady with short blond hair. But this morning, I encountered an aggressive harpy who unleashed all her venom and a string of obscenities on me. I am a lady of a certain age, who came to relax and support the local businesses. I was so shocked that I won't be going back anytime soon! A disgrace to this village! The following text is the comment left on the town hall website. Beautiful location, very pleasant welcome. However, I feel compelled to share on the town hall website a terrible experience I had this morning at the Café de la Paix. Given that this establishment is located within the town limits, I feel it's important to bring it to the attention of the Mayor. Having lived in Villefranche for a year, I occasionally, though admittedly quite rarely, stop by the Café de la Paix for a drink while playing the lottery. Always warmly welcomed until now by the young man, the older gentleman, or the short-haired blonde woman, I never imagined that one day I would be greeted so aggressively and subjected to a barrage of insults and obscenities! I ordered an aperitif and asked if it would be possible to have some side dishes, which I was willing to pay for. The violent response from this hysterical woman shocked me so much that I asked for a refund because I no longer wished to remain in the establishment. She replied, and I quote, "Sit on your ass." I'd never experienced anything like it in my entire life. A real slob, and incredibly rude. I'm over sixty, I'm a mother and grandmother, and in my world, we show politeness, good manners, good upbringing, courtesy, and elegant speech. I think it's best not to drink when you work in a café! In any case, this person is completely out of place.

13/01/2026: Outrageous! I'd barely walked in at 8 a.m. when a cloud of cigarette smoke hit me in the throat; it was impossible to have breakfast in those conditions! Thank goodness Brioche Dorée allowed me to eat without being polluted!

10/01/2026: Whatever you do, don't buy any galettes des rois! Today we bought a king cake that was stale and a frangipane filling that wasn't almond but applesauce! And of course, nobody tells you that when you buy it. It's a disgrace for a chain like Paul to sell such low-quality products.

22/09/2025: A vacation lunch... In a family-run establishment (literally) on the Mediterranean Sea, smelling deliciously of salt... With sea spray in our hair, we enjoyed well-prepared, fresh, and delicious dishes. The service was attentive and friendly, and we also enjoyed one of the most beautiful views of Antibes... Thank you for this wonderful experience; we'll definitely be back!

11/09/2025: We spent a whole day at the beach, a place of pure relaxation and tranquility, where you can have lunch and an aperitif by the sea, with excellent, high-quality food. The lady and gentleman were truly kind.

13/03/2026: Warning: Food poisoning!!! I came yesterday at lunchtime to buy a pan bagnat and a small goat cheese and prosciutto sandwich. The pan bagnat had a very suspicious taste at times. The food wasn't fresh at all; I vomited continuously from 5 pm, all night, until this morning—a very serious case of food poisoning. It's truly shameful to serve spoiled food to your customers and endanger them like this. Health inspectors should visit this bakery and shut it down. And to the staff, have you no shame in poisoning your customers like this? AVOID AT ALL COSTS

12/03/2026: I buy breakfast for my employees (locksmith shop opposite the train station) every morning. The whole team is very pleasant from morning till night. The breakfasts are hot in the morning, and the lunch is always excellent, with both sweet and savory options. I highly recommend it! Thank you to the team!
