25/09/2024: En formation non loi de là, nous avons, tous les quatre, opté pour déjeuner au grand chelem. Ce sera une déception à l'unanimité qui nous laisse dans l'incompréhension totale quant aux notes sur ce site. Certes, l'endroit nous met un peu à l'écart du bruit. Mais la terrasse avec son mobilier en plastique qui a bien bien vécu donne le ton!! La carte est courte et semble alléchante dans un premier temps : burger, assiette tomates/mozza/panisse, raviolis frais.... Nous faisons nos choix, un peu dubitatif quant à l'hygiène (serveur sympa mais coiffure afro sans cheveux attachés, et en short ). Les plats arrivent ((très rapidement!) micro-onde???) le bun du burger est une catastrophe alors qu'il est un ingrédient important dans ce plat (surgelé??). En fait tous les ingrédients proposés sont insipides comme s'ils étaient tous issus du premier prix, de la mozza aux raviolis frais. Tout est véritablement mauvais et sans aucune qualité. Aucun commentaire sur le vin servi au verre ne pourra sauver ce "restaurant" du désastre. Il détient je pense le record absolu du plus mauvais vin jamais servi dans un restaurant. (A 3.50e le verre comment s'attendre à autre chose en même temps??) Bref comment ce prétendu restaurant a pu obtenir une telle note sur ce site ? cela reste un mystère pour nous 4!

24/08/2024: The restaurant where we had reserved had to close at the last minute and recommended the banana blue. We were not disappointed! The dishes and desserts were plentiful and very good. (Favorite for the REAL fries and the huge tarte tatin, a delight)

04/09/2024: Nous avons passé une très bonne soirée. Huîtres excellentes, St Pierre fabuleux et la salade de pêches un vrai régal. Accueil chaleureux et authentique, personnel attentionné et efficace.

06/09/2024: We ate the crepe after dinner. Outdoor table in this truly characteristic village. Non-existent service. Unclean tables. They forgot an ingredient on my plate, but it was immediately remedied. The crepe deserved the €9 spent: the dough was excellent. Promoted!

25/08/2023: No respect, it’s human. They take a deckchair or two even though there are six or seven of them, with their kids. I don't recommend putting this right in the middle in high season, no respect!

07/08/2023: Municipal beach. Holidaymakers often without embarrassment. 6 people come for a deckchair. Noisy. Too bad the place is perfect, the staff willing.

17/09/2024: We were told that this was a good place to go to try the local delicacy Socca. Easy to find on Google maps, and a nice walk. We ordered a Socca and a glass of rose wine. Both were ready immediately and we sat at the bench tables outside in the narrow alleyways of the old city. The Socca was very tasty and the wine was really nice. Great people watching and tasty food at a great price. They took credit cards without a problem and the staff were very friendly.

18/04/2024: Stopped here for a slightly later lunch. The welcome was warm, the service friendly and prompt. The team works well together without any hassle, the bosses until lunchtime, then the men of the house come for afternoon/evening duty. The restaurant is obviously also heavily visited by local residents - a good sign. The day ticket was no longer available in full. My Cous-Cous à l'Agneau with Merguez sausages and spicy sauce tasted good and was very filling, the ladies ate good pizzas a la carte. And because there was plenty, the leftover pizzas were packed up for home consumption. The menu is clear, which benefits the quality of the kitchen. Anyone who likes it less touristy and a little more “on the pulse of life” is in good hands here.

25/09/2024: We ate well in this restaurant but the service was not well organized. They brought us the aperitif (cocktails) at the same time as the dishes! We didn't even have time to drink our aperitif! When we pointed it out at the end, the waiters seemed like they didn't care and were only slightly apologetic. There are better addresses in Old Nice!

20/09/2024: We ate excellently. Gnocchi with gorgonzola, ravioli with mushrooms and truffles, linguini with seafood were excellent. The service was good and quick. The price is reasonable for the quality and fast service. We were absolutely satisfied.

11/09/2024: I’ve only been here for breakfast, and every time it’s been really good, the bread the pastry and coffee. Plus the atmosphere is very nice and the square is so beautiful with the green leaves.

21/08/2024: I gave three stars out of respect for the work because I know the difficulties of this profession well. On the other hand, a restaurateur who complains to his customers about being tired is not professional. Damage. It was long before. We used to stop at this simple but very well located snack bar, on the heights which refreshed us during the hot summer months. We went there especially for the beautiful and good ice creams in the afternoon, which we did this Sunday. But change of direction, change of atmosphere. We didn't know that it was now closed in the afternoon and we arrived at 3 p.m. The boss (?) certainly wanted to be accommodating, I grant, but his way of welcoming us and responding to us was not accepted and we turned around. It’s not the customer’s problem if the restaurateur works 7/7. We knew this profession well and gave a lot too. When we can't hold on any longer, we change jobs but we don't verbally attack customers because we're tired. Especially since in this area the season does not last 12 months because in low season it is very cold. Not inviting to eat on the terrace and the interior is very small. In short. You can try to go there, you might be better received, but for our part it's over and we regret it.

18/08/2024: We had lunch on August 10, 2024 On our arrival we were greeted by very pleasant people, professionals with a joie de vivre which made us appreciate our meal break from the start. 22/08/2024: Not with the aim of harming but for improvement. We ate here last night for the first time but the pizzas were disgusting. A cannibal + one with chicken goat, not one to catch the other... No taste of the dough and the tomato sauce to all the other ingredients on the pizzas. Fortunately nothing was lost because the dogs of the passers-by we met had a great time. However the 2 young men in the pizzeria were very friendly and energetic, the service was good.

01/08/2024: I am used to ordering often from pfc this evening very very disappointed we ordered 3 French are taste and we did not have the drinks and a calzone goat cheese pizza the same not cooked and very little goat cheese and we no longer ordered one big bottle of coke we had u. Ice tea

16/08/2024: Very unfriendly lady in restaurant. I see other ratings below stating the same - very sad. Except 2 tables everything was empty. We were 3 and one person wanted to eat a Menü, two wanted icecream and coffee. She told us to move somewhere else to a table 5 meters away then. Only our dauther could sit there. When we then decided to leave I wanted to use the toilet, she refused me to enter the restaurant. I recommend to avoid such a place.

15/08/2024: Place in an excellent location, very pleasant and quiet. The waitress was very kind and helpful, she explained all the dishes in detail. The quality-price ratio is excellent, for two people we paid a total of 20 euros (so 10 euros each) and the food was fresh, good and tasty. I recommend booking with The fork app to take advantage of the discount.

11/09/2024: We ordered vegetarian pizza and it was average. Asked to replace carrots with Mushrooms and they charged us extra for that. Overly expensive place for the kind of service and food they have. DO NOT RECOMMEND this place
