03/02/2026: A disgrace! After paying the €40 deposit, I confirmed my reservation 24 hours too late, and it was simply cancelled. It was impossible to contact anyone in charge of reservations by email or phone to resolve the situation (everything is designed to avoid communication with the customer and to facilitate automatic payments). Since this invitation was a Christmas gift from my parents, I had to pay a second time. I will never set foot in this establishment where human interaction has been replaced by a mafia-like system where taking €40 seems more important than customer satisfaction.

11/01/2026: My wife and I had dinner at this traditional French pizzeria and restaurant, ideally located on one of Carcassonne's many narrow streets. It offers a varied menu, ranging from pizzas and a children's menu to traditional French dishes and desserts. You can sit inside or on the terrace, overlooking the street. We chose to sit at one of the many tables in the large dining room and ordered two grilled rib-eye steaks with green peppercorn sauce and potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious and generous. The staff was welcoming, smiling, competent, and helpful. The service was attentive and quick. The prices were high, but justified by the excellent quality of the meat. My wife and I had dinner at this centrally located, traditional French pizzeria and restaurant, situated on one of the many narrow streets of Carcassonne, France. It offers a variety of dishes, from pizza to a children's menu, from traditional French dishes to traditional French desserts. There are tables inside and outside looking at the narrow street. We sat at one of the many tables inside a large dining room and ordered two grilled rib-eye steaks with green peppercorn sauce and potatoes. Everything was delicious, delicious, and plentiful. The staff were welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly, and helpful. The service was attentive and fast. The prices were expensive but fair for the excellent quality of the meat. Our feelings are in one of the many dishes inside an amplio comedor and pedimos dos filetes de costilla a la parrilla con salsa de pimienta verde y patatas. All this is riquisimo and abundant. The personal is friendly, friendly, competent, friendly and helpful. The service should be attentive and rapid. The prices we have are caros, but just for the excellent quality of the meat.

03/01/2026: Great! We had the €17.90 and €33.90 menus. Honestly, the €17.90 one was enough; there's no need to go for the €33.90 one. The waiter was super friendly and pleasant, and the food was very good! One small negative point: it was noisy, but we happened to get a very noisy table.

24/01/2026: I first came to this establishment over 30 years ago. Today I had a wonderful time; the meal was truly delicious and refined, featuring high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was intimate and calm, even though the dining room was practically full. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very efficient and pleasant. I will be back very soon.

20/01/2026: The dish was very expensive considering the poor quality of the ingredients. I don't understand the rating or the restaurant's popularity. Being there for forty years doesn't justify everything...

15/09/2024: Excellent address: the dishes are very well presented and the flavors exceptional. The atypical atmosphere of the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise and the staff was very welcoming. A special mention for the chef who came at the end of the meal to greet all the customers and who knows how to explain his job with passion. Looking forward to the new menu so that we can come back and taste the new dishes.

14/09/2024: Nous avons passé un moment très agréable. Tous les plats que nous avons pris été très bons, bien présentés, et à la bonne température. Nous n'avons pas trop attendu entre les plats grâce à la serveuse qui était seule mais très efficace et agréable. Elle est au top ! Merci pour ce moment, continuez comme ça !

07/07/2025: An excellent stay in a magnificent location steeped in history, with impeccable welcome and service. We were delighted with the half-board option, including a very good evening meal and a well-deserved breakfast. We will be back very soon.

29/08/2024: À éviter absolument ! Nous sommes venus pour un déjeuner en amoureux et, à première vue, le restaurant semblait prometteur. Malheureusement, l'expérience a été décevante. L'attente a été interminable : 40 minutes pour recevoir nos boissons et 1 heure pour les plats, alors qu'il n'y avait que trois tables occupées en terrasse. Les portions étaient ridiculement petites, surtout pour les pommes de terre, et les burgers étaient servis sans sauce. Aucun intérêt culinaire, le service laisse à désirer. Passez votre chemin, il y a bien mieux ailleurs !

02/09/2024: Une salade césar est composé de salade, de croûtons, de blanc de poulet, de copeaux de parmesan et surtout de sauce césar et non d'une montagne de salade de quatre rondelles de carottes de quatre croquettes de poulet panés et d'un filet de vinaigre balsamique, insipide pour un plat à 19 euros

16/12/2025: A peaceful farmhouse, terrace overlooking the Bugarach mountain. The farmyard animals frolic in the grass, putting on a show. The set menu is €29, and we choose from several courses. A buffet of well-prepared charcuterie and crudités. House dish (boles de picoulat). Dessert (profiteroles). Aperitif with Maury wine, followed by a meal with white wine. Three hours of dining and relaxation. It's a bit warm on the terrace; the curtains aren't up yet for the season. The chef makes a special effort with the presentation, adding small decorative touches and flavor combinations that are worth noting. You can sense his organization in his desire to serve all the guests in roughly the same order. Main courses for everyone, then desserts for everyone. There are only two of them, so they need to be methodical. The furniture and layout could use a touch of modernization (budget constraints, of course), but it's lush and full of flowers. We had a wonderful time during our two-wheeled tour of Bugarach and Rennes-le-Château. Limiting seating to around 20 people to prioritize quality over quantity, reservations are recommended. For groups, the farm indicated they can accommodate larger groups with prior booking, similar to classic car club outings. Parking is available on the property. I will definitely return. Thank you to this young couple.

12/11/2025: Excellent. We had lunch as a group and thoroughly enjoyed it. The €29 set menu is truly delicious and generous. The starter buffet, cassoulet, and profiteroles were all very plentiful and flavorful. I highly recommend it. The dining room is lovely, and the terrace is also very pleasant. They don't accept cards.
