27/09/2024: As usual, a top restaurant! Simple but high quality cuisine, this evening we discovered the fondue vigneronne! A treat! In addition, the service and welcome are really top notch, nothing but positives for this little restaurant that we have enjoyed for many years!!

29/09/2024: L’accueil est tout simplement parfait et cela perdure tout au long du repas avec des petites attentions. La cuisine (globalement orienté Inde/Asie) est une vraie réussite ; visiblement, tout est fait par le chef, et les saveurs sont nombreuses et bien présentes. Un vrai et bon voyage culinaire. Seul bémol, la décoration de la première salle est peu avenante, et mériterait un coup de peinture. Cela ne gâche néanmoins par notre plaisir et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

16/09/2024: had a great meal, lunch menu, it was very quiet and dishes were fine, but not exceptional, supplement for meat in the menu was absolutely not worth the money. In short, a great place for a menu, but don't expect culinary delights

07/12/2024: Pese a realizar una reserva con bastante antelación, el mismo día de la reserva y sólo porque les llamamos nos dijeron que no tenían sitio. Como recomendacion si aceptan reservas por apps al menos que respondan a los clientes

29/12/2023: Nous avons choisi le Grand Cap comme lieu pour le repas de notre mariage 🥰 Chaque étape et chaque met ont contribué à faire de cette journée une journée d'exception et un voyage gustatif inoubliable 😊 Un grand merci à Erwan Houssin pour ce régal des Papilles et à Pamela Houssin pour cette pièce montée exceptionnelle.... Sans oublier "Florent" qui a mené cette symphonie avec discrétion et professionnalisme...Tous nos invités ont été conquis et nous avons passé un moment inoubliable 😊 Naïma & Philippe

26/12/2023: Soirée de Noël délicieuse tout était parfait...peut être offrir une petite papillote ou deux 🎁🧑‍🎄.

18/12/2024: Nous avons passé deux nuits à l’auberge et donc deux petits déjeuners et un repas au restaurant de Mr Gougeon. Tout fut parfait du début à la fin de notre séjour. Chambre spacieuse et très confortable, petits déjeuners avec des personnes en service très agréable, avec choix de nourriture variés et toujours excellent. Que dire de notre repas au restaurant ; Accueil de Gilles Gougeon très sympathique, service très professionnel, sans être guindé, ce qui favorise une très bonne ambiance dans le restaurant. Concernant le repas, nous avons ici l’un des meilleurs 3 étoiles que nous ayons visité, tous les produits sont exceptionnels et sublimés de main de maître par Mr Gougeon au sommet de son art. Du début la fin nous fûmes surpris et ravis par tous les plats proposés. Un conseil, laissez de la place pour le fromage et le dessert. Au plaisir de revenir vous visiter . Bonjour du Québec.

14/12/2024: Surfait Bien que nous ayons choisi un menu gastronomique, nous avons été très déçus par la qualité du service (impossible d'avoir du pain ) par la cuisson du poisson (cuit dans une bougie) par le rapport coût/goût et qualité des mets Nous déconseillons fermement. 23/01/2025: Great place Every time I go to Narbonne it's my favorite place The waitresses are very pleasant and friendly. The boss and super nice I highly recommend. They serve from breakfast to snacks Small dishes at any time of the day until 6 p.m. Also ask for the DETOX drink It's excellent. See you soon

01/10/2024: The menu is out of the ordinary, finally a restaurant where you don't just eat steaks and hamburgers! Plus everything is delicious, octopus, puff pastry, daily specials... Not to mention the pavlova 😍and all this with a warm welcome. I highly recommend

07/09/2024: Restaurant to be banned. We arrive and order aperitifs for 2 people, the wine arrives at the same time. We then order our dishes which arrive cold, we call the waitress who sends them back to the kitchen to reheat in the microwave, the so-called homemade fries in the microwave are not great. The worst is yet to come: While my dish is being heated I find myself on the front line with a 180 degree view of the kitchen and there I see the cook taking my plate out of the microwave and sticking her finger right into my chicken to check the temperature, he There are probes to check if the dish is hot, I don't know what she did before, nor what she touched. The waitresses smoke in front of the customers and then touch the dishes, the toilets have no paper or soap, a bit limited in these times of covid. After the meal was over, I reported all this to the boss and explained my disappointment to him, but he had nothing to do with it. So definitely don't go there even if the setting is very beautiful.

14/09/2024: Well a little confused and totally unimpressed; I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant on my trip to Carcassonne. We walked in at 19.30 on a Saturday night and asked for a table for three. The guy asked if I had a reservation and I said no; he then said reservations only and the restaurant was empty apart from one table of four….. So I’m totally confused and rather upset as it made no sense; the only thing I good think of is that they obviously don’t want tourists and it’s a place for the locals - shame on you Le Cathare it’s put a sour taste in my mouth now for the rest of my trip

25/08/2024: First visit to this establishment on the Mediterranean route... Well received, good atmosphere, correct and fast service, family cuisine as advertised. But this Saturday lunchtime, the fries served with the filet mignon were not up to par: _ The frozen fries had a fishy taste... Eatable... But this detail spoils the dish and gives a bad rating to the whole rather very good meal... _ Consider changing your oil cooking and making homemade fries using real potatoes cut and cooked by you even if it takes time and is expensive... this will save you from bad comments.
