If you come to Narbonne beach, this is a must-visit. It's not worth looking elsewhere; if you want great seafood, look no further.

19/06/2026: It's super good, the staff are super friendly and funny, it's very high quality. Personally, I don't like seafood, but they offered something else and there was a good selection. Bernard became my friend. I highly recommend it.

18/07/2026: Tonight we enjoyed a fantastic evening at "Le Chat" with 6 persons. The location is special, the service perfect and we felt very welcome. An extra compliment for the chef. Each course was a surprise in flavours, fresh ingrediants and taste. We can only advise you to go to this restaurant and enjoy such a special experience as we did! Must go!

09/07/2026: The only fish, seafood, and shellfish restaurant in Carcassonne. What's more, the products are incredibly fresh and the food is excellent. The cassoulet is a must-try: you really taste the rich flavor of the beans, whereas elsewhere you don't even notice it. It's remarkable! Everything is prepared by a fantastic chef and a perfectly attentive waiter. A must for seafood lovers, I highly recommend it.

07/07/2026: My partner and I had dinner here. We were looking for a seafood restaurant, but there aren't many. Well, this one is perfect. You can go there without hesitation. The meal was excellent, and the portions were generous; you definitely won't leave hungry.

23/07/2026: Excellent experience We opted for the 7-course tasting menu at €130 per person. Including the amuse-bouches, interludes, and the additional dessert, there were no fewer than 12 courses served throughout the meal. The portions were generous and the pacing was perfect. As for the food, the cuisine was impeccable: masterful cooking techniques, spot-on seasoning, and beautifully presented ingredients. My only minor, very personal reservation: I wasn't quite as taken with the reworked oyster, but this didn't detract from the overall quality of the experience. I recommend it if you're looking for a Michelin-starred restaurant. However, the reception was disappointing. We were greeted by a woman with a nose piercing, who seemed judgmental because we were young and not at all up to the establishment's standards. Fortunately, the food more than made up for it.

07/06/2026: Every time, the welcome is perfect, even without a reservation. The team is dynamic, attentive, and friendly, and the produce is exceptionally fresh, not to mention their excellent local wines. A must-visit!

26/05/2026: An excellent place! I'm always on the lookout for authentic spots, and Moulin Vert is a wonderful discovery. We had a fantastic meal! The grilled meats are simply excellent, with top-quality meat cooked to perfection. The service is also top-notch: the team is welcoming, efficient, and attentive. A major plus for sunny days: their small terrace/patio, a true haven of peace, incredibly pleasant and intimate in the summer. It's the ideal place to spend a great time enjoying a delicious meal. A really cool place that I highly recommend!

08/07/2026: We both had salad starters, which were huge and easily big enough for a main meal, and were the best we've ever had, anywhere. We would go back there again this evening but they are unfortunately closed.

But without a doubt, the best part was the restaurant. A delicious menu that surprised you with every dish. To finish, a truffle crunch cookie that was more than a dessert—it was a work of art. Furthermore, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive. Congratulations to the chef and the owner. They provided us with an unforgettable experience. :)

09/01/2026: The sign says it's open all day, but at 2:30 PM they told us the kitchen was closed. We had to walk quite a distance because of the incorrect information. It's disappointing.

02/07/2026: My wife and I returned to Clos de Mauzac for the second time since the takeover by the new owners, and we were delighted. The waitress is very pleasant and attentive to her customers' well-being. The food is always excellent. Thank you, and we look forward to returning soon.

08/05/2026: A good experience at this restaurant located in a tiny village not far from Fondfroide Abbey. The chef is, in fact, the former cook of the abbey's restaurant. The cuisine is creative and well-executed, but there are a few drawbacks: the portions are really small, especially the side dish with the main course, which is a shame because you end up eating the bread... which is mass-produced (why serve bread that looks like it belongs in a motorway service station cafeteria?). I think the €21 set menu (starter/main/dessert) during the week offers much better value for money.

01/05/2026: Excellent food and reasonably priced wines. Friendly service. The restaurant isn't very large and all the tables were occupied. Consequently, it was quite lively and noisy.

20/05/2026: Noisy place (it must be said that there was a group of 20 retirees so it was somewhat normal), excellent starter foie gras and smoked salmon a delight, matured sirloin steak a first for us, certainly the meat is tastier but too grilled for our taste, classic but very good dessert.

19/05/2026: A lovely meal with friends on the terrace! A very warm welcome and excellent cuisine! Top-notch dry-aged meats!
