11/09/2024: No podemos hablar de la comida, puesto que no fuimos a comer, sino sólo a tomar café y algo de merienda. Habíamos leído... Creo que es un sitio imprescindible visitarlo en Narbona, aunque sólo sea para tomar algo casi de paso. Nosotros repetimos 2 días. El café y las bolas de helado de café y de "caramelo con mantequilla salada", creo que se llama al traducirlo, estupendas. Los crepes muy buenas también. Imprescindible la parada.

09/09/2024: We really liked the crepe menu, the “potato menu” and the juice cocktails extracted from fresh fruit. Everything was fresh, of very good taste quality, both invigorating and healthy! Terrace sheltered from the wind and sun... Great value for money😎

15/09/2024: Excellent address: the dishes are very well presented and the flavors exceptional. The atypical atmosphere of the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise and the staff was very welcoming. A special mention for the chef who came at the end of the meal to greet all the customers and who knows how to explain his job with passion. Looking forward to the new menu so that we can come back and taste the new dishes.

14/09/2024: Nous avons passé un moment très agréable. Tous les plats que nous avons pris été très bons, bien présentés, et à la bonne température. Nous n'avons pas trop attendu entre les plats grâce à la serveuse qui était seule mais très efficace et agréable. Elle est au top ! Merci pour ce moment, continuez comme ça !

08/09/2024: Very nice discovery for this charming restaurant, neat setting, very well decorated, the service is top notch, the waiter was attentive and very pleasant! The wood-fired meats are cooked to perfection (rather rare), the dishes are generous and the quality is there. An address not to be missed in Leucate, where you will be very well received!

09/09/2024: Very good and refined cuisine. The servers are very friendly and smiling. If you are looking to eat on a shaded terrace, with lots of charm, in a street far from the usual hustle and bustle of the city, I recommend the cauldron.

14/09/2024: We went to tournedos with friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary and on the advice of regulars. Good welcome. The aperitifs were taken quickly. Where it becomes problematic is for the rest of the order several tables which arrived after us were served. Few choices of a la carte starters. A nice selection but prices remain high... And the wait between courses. We spent 3 hours at the table. My husband's steak was tough... Fries and fatty eggplant. Little choice of dessert. Well, not very conclusive for me.. I won't try a second time.

06/09/2024: Friendly welcome, cozy atmosphere in a pleasant setting. Fast service, very pleasant waitress and good advice. Refined and hearty cuisine, with fresh produce. Only small downside: no terrace...

01/09/2024: Our final evening in Carcassonne was dinner at the truly amazing Comte Roger. We started with a local cocktail of sparkling cremant with peach and apricot liqueur- superb! The foie gras starters of semi-cooked duck foie gras - with a mille-feuille of green apple, apricot, celery, dark chocolate chips and brioche for my wife and I had the most delicious tart tatin of pan-fried foie gras escalopes with caramelized apples with Muscat de St Jean de Minervois, golden sesame tuile and a tartine of Lairière goat’s cheese. The main courses were for me- Vol au vent by Comte Roger - Mussels, spinach, cuttlefish, velouté seasoned with local saffron, summer vegetables, Mediterranean sea bream fillet and peeled prawns. For Vicky it was- French veal tartare - seasoned by Compte Roger with artichoke, pine nuts, onion, chives, candied tomato, celery sticks and homemade potato churros. I also opted for a dessert- ‘The Triangle’- frozen parfait with muscat from Saint Jean de Minervois, Languedoc oreillette and seasonal fruit coulis. We ordered a bottle of my favourite Boutenac Cháteau Saint-Estèbe ‘Astreos’ 2019- a classic from my Great Horkesley Wine Centre days! Probably one of the best restaurants in which I have ever had the pleasure of dining in France.

28/08/2024: Quel plaisir de voir un serveur accueillant plein de bons conseils; un patron passionné par son métier et pour ses clients. Tatin de pommes aux foies gras poêlés et un cassoulet à tomber. Pour moi (pour en avoir testé plusieurs 😅) c’est tout simplement le meilleur que j’ai mangé avec du haut de cuisse de canard (et non du manchon..) et des haricots qui avaient été imprégnés de toutes les saveurs. On s’est tout simplement régalés! Ce n’était pas le but?!🤩

28/08/2024: Another very successful meal at this “address” always of good quality, fresh products, well cooked and top-notch service. Even the dish of the day specially designed for mom to adapt to her problems. As always, we had a very pleasant time there. I highly recommend.

14/09/2024: The reception staff is very arrogant, the reception managers thought that we did not understand French and discussed our issue in a derogatory manner. We received a refusal to all our questions and only after persistent requests a solution was found. Also, they did not want to let us, hotel guests, onto the terrace, which the hotel shares with the restaurant. There was not a single person there, and we just wanted to seat in the fresh air before going to bed. In the rooms only paid water in the minibar, there is not even a small complimentary bottle, considering that there are no shops near the hotel. However, we liked the room itself

Following a gift from our children we had the opportunity to have lunch at Franck Putelat's table, it was a magical and unforgettable moment, a mixture of flavors and colors. A delicious meal, very beautiful presentation, tasty and delicate dishes. An exceptional table! Professionalism and kindness of the staff. We appreciated the arrival of the very approachable chef, a very friendly and warm little moment. We also warmly thank all the teams in the dining room and in the kitchen. Experience to be repeated. Continue like this!

27/09/2024: I confirm...a restaurant that doesn't answer the phone...this is a first No subject on buffets it's very good On the other hand, customer experience on the site is catastrophic, no telephone number, no contact email address or at least does not work, impossible to get them...a looping record as long as a day without bread.... too bad because it's impossible to have a confirmation of a reservation, two validations via credit card and....nothing so I don't know anything, very meh

05/09/2024: Take the time to dine under the vault of the Weeping Saul accompanied in the background by the trickling of the fountain. You will discover a local menu with dishes cooked with finesse in the tradition of authentic cuisine. The “grandma” style deer stew is very fine and tasty. A cheese platter and a glass of regional red wine will delight gourmets. The icing on the cake: the cook comes out of his kitchen and comes to meet the customers, for a culinary exchange. We've been there and we'll come back again!

29/08/2024: Good table with tasty cuisine. Nice staff. Typical atmosphere of an old mill. Only downside: no menu in the evening. Obligation to take dishes, which increases the price. Otherwise nothing to complain about.
